Power MOSFET macromodel accounting for temperature dependence: parameter extraction and simulation 温度依赖性的功率MOSFET宏模型:参数提取与仿真

A new PSpice model of power MOSFETs has been developed aiming to account for the parameter variations with the temperature. A new computer aided design package that helps the designer in the parameter extraction procedure is discussed in detail. The model accuracy has been tested by comparison of the simulated waveforms with the experimental traces relative to actual devices.

Application of EXCEL for analyzing DC/DC converters 应用EXCEL分析DC/DC变换器

EXCEL is an often used and easily accessible calculation and drawing tool. The application for analyzing converters is therefore obvious. A special step-down converter is used to explain and to show the efficiency and usefulness of this tool for technical applications. The use of tapped inductors in the classical buck converter leads to high step-down ratios overcoming the extreme duty ratios of the active switch and the high peak currents in the active and passive switches. The dimensioning of the converters, the behavior, and the component stresses are analyzed.

Using symbolic computation for power electronics 电力电子学的符号计算

In this tutorial, the basic principles and scope of application for symbolic computation are reviewed. Commercially available symbolic computation software packages are surveyed. Specific examples are presented in the context of switching power supply design. A program which automatically generates a state space model from the netlist is presented. Automatic generation of large-signal averaged models, small-signal models, and transfer functions are demonstrated.

Implementation of mathematical models of power devices for circuit simulation in PSpice 功率器件电路仿真数学模型在PSpice中的实现

Some methods for the implementation of mathematical models of power devices for circuit simulation in the PSpice program are presented. For this purpose, an option available in PSpice, called analog behavioral modeling, is used. In this way, mathematical models for any kind of application may be converted into electrical circuits, solved as subcircuit-models with the circuit simulator PSpice and further graphically evaluated with the postprocessor Probe. The developed procedures are demonstrated with the implementation of a physics-based IGBT model.
