One of the major problems of a market economy is unemployment, when a large part of the employable population cannot find work, becomes "redundant" and, as a rule, they form a reserve army of the unemployed. Losing a job is one of the most frustrating events in a person's life. Most people rely on their own income to maintain a standard of living. At the same time, people receive not only income from labor, but also get a sense of personal perfection. Losing a job means lowering your standard of living, worrying about the future, losing self-esteem. Therefore, it is not surprising that politicians in the process of fighting for a seat often talk about how their proposed policies will help create new jobs and tackle unemployment problems. Raising this issue is important today, when Georgia's unemployment rate has reached a historic high and Georgians are trying to sell their votes in the elections for 20-50 GEL. Unbelievable things were happening during the last election: bribery, threats, blackmail, physical or moral terror - these were the hallmarks of the last election. Why? The main reason for this is of course poverty and hardship, which is a result of the unemployment in the country. The following main types of unemployment are distinguished: frictional, structural and cyclical unemployment, although there are other types (forms) of unemployment that exist in the modern economy. The essence of frictional, structural, cyclical, seasonal, regional, hidden, demographic, institutional, voluntary and suspended unemployment and socio-economic consequences are explained through statistics. As for the employment problem. It has been shown that in modern Georgia, as time goes on, the share of the employed population in the labor force is decreasing more and more. In 2007, 321,3 thousand people were employed in the public sector, while 1,256 1 thousand of our citizens were employed in the non-governmental sector. Recently, the number of employees in the public sector has greatly increased, however, by 2020 the number of employees in the non-governmental sector has decreased to 947,1 thousand. The answer is clear: the private sector does not create jobs. It is also interesting to find employment by economic activity, for example: agriculture, forestry and fish farming had 202 thousand employees in 2020, while these data in 2017 were 246 thousand. The number of people employed in wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles has increased. E.g. In 2017, their number was 174 thousand employees, and in 2020 this number increased to 188 thousand. All this shows that we are a nation mainly employed in the field of trade and not a producing nation. The number of car and motorcycle mechanics has greatly increased. This shows that mostly our citizens are buying old, depreciated cars and motorcycles, that need major repairs. In addition, the number of employees in the field of transport and warehousing has positive dynamics. In 2017, 70,1 thousan

The relationship between nature and society is inconceivable without the contradictions that inevitably arise and exist during the period of coexistence between them. First, with the development of society and its fertile forces, man's domination of nature is constantly and rapidly expanding and expanding, which is already evident today on a planetary scale. And secondly, contradictions and unscrupulous attitudes towards human nature are constantly deepening. Nature, in spite of the innumerable diversity of its components, is one whole. The consequences of this relationship are sometimes unpredictable. Deficiencies at the general level of culture, and the neglect of the laws and characteristics of the living world by generations, are unfortunately a harsh reality today. Bitter evidence of how stubbornly unwilling a person is to learn from their mistakes can be: misuse of forests, areas of land that have become unsuitable for agricultural use as a result of improper irrigation; Air - which is particularly dangerous to human health as a result of pollution - damages vital organs and so on. In 2014 after signing the Association Agreement between the European Union and Georgia, a wide range of trade relations has been opened for the state of Georgia and was given the opportunity for the free trade. Chapter IV of the Agreement - "Trade and Trade-Related Issues", the agreement about Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) includes the mechanism of economic integration with the EU and opens its internal market for Georgia. According to the agreement, if the required conditions are achieved, the world’s largest market will be opened for Georgia, which currently unites 28 countries and more than the 500 million customers. Utilizing this opportunity will lead increasing investment flows in the country, the emergence of new enterprises and export products, suppling of safe and harmless products to the customers. This will ultimately have a positive impact on the country's economic growth and the development, nevertheless it is still a distant prospect. In order to receive all the foreseen benefits of the Association Agreement, it became necessary to identify and eliminate problems in the number of areas. According to the agreement, food safety is recognized as a political priority of the European Union. Created program of legislative approximation with the EU includes the fulfillment of commitments and the deadlines, which is an ongoing process. In the years of 2015-2020, in accordance with the DCFTA agreement, 146 legal acts had been aligned with the EU legislation in the fields of food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary. Despite all these achievements, the major challenge for both the regulators and business operators still remains to be the enforcement and putting into effect the EU required standards. As the most products in the EU market are subject to harmonized rules, that protect the consumers, public health and the environment, it excludes the adoption of different national rules - the product made in Georgia must comply with the EU standards. That is why the Georgian business operators have to: introduce internationally recognized systems in the enterprise; adapt to the new regulatory environment; create a harmless, quality and competitive product; attract the European partners and be able to produce the required quantity, which may need to involve the different and modern production technologies. Therefore, it is essential to understand, that using the terms of the agreement do not completely depend on the smooth running of government agencies, as it largely depends on the personal progress of the business operators and the relevant associations. Keywords : Economic integration with Europe, food safety, international commitment, Association Agreement.

In the article - "Taxes - in terms of fairness, utility or solvency?" – it is discussed about the tax regime used in Georgia, which, despite many changes, has not become a stimulus for business development yet. The author notes that neither the preferential taxation of micro and small enterprises nor the Estonian model of taxation has caused a "Boom" of business prosperity in Georgia. According to the author of the article, Georgia should immediately implement a progressive regime of taxation, ie taxation according to the solvency of the taxpayer. It will be fair and beneficial to the country's budget. Keywords: taxes; Justice; Usefulness; Solvency.

The formation process of foreign direct investment theories began in the second half of the twentieth century, it was period that the importance of foreign direct investment (FDI) in international capital movement increased, and this period was characterized by the rapid growth of multinational enterprises, which, in turn, is a major source of FDI. Scientific and technological progress has become the basis for decisions of transnational companies to invest capital in to different parts of the world and to coordinate and control its many branches from one country. During this period scientists actively began to develop theories and mathematical models of foreign direct investments, which meant studying the genesis of FDI, as well as analyzing their impact on the economy of both the host and the issuer countries. The analysis of foreign direct investment theories is closely related to the study of the activities of multinational corporations. Among them are some paradigms containing interesting discoveries that view the foreign direct investment as a contributing factor for the economic growth of the host country and its industrial development. In this article, the author consider the key theories and models of foreign direct investment: 1. The Product Life Cycle Theory, which is developed by Vernon; 2. Transnational companies and monopolistic computation theory, which is developed by Hymer; 3. Generalized theory of economic development, which is developed by Akamatsu; 4.The competitive advantage of nation’s theory, which is developed by Porter; 5.The eclectic paradigm and country's investment development theory, which is developed by Dunning; 6.Differential model of capital distribution between countries by Leontiev. The theories and models provide a basic range of motives of investors' behavior in the world market. It also makes it possible to analyze what impact foreign direct investment has on the economy of the recipient country and what forecast the recipient country's economy will have. In the 21st century, the business has become a digital technology-driven system that can hugely impact consumer behavior and labor productivity. The use of the Internet in the new information age is a visible example of globalization. Electronic platforms offer continuous information dissemination, interactive communication with users, and digital systems for conducting transactions in the modern economy. In the context of the digital revolution, along with the changes made to improve services, the electronic transformation of banks has also become necessary, as modern technologies can increase the productivity, permanence, and transparency of the use of information. The paper identifies the key features of digital marketing that make companies successful in the banking sector. The use of digital channels in the financial industry is growing day by day and, regardless of the level of development of countries, is characterized by a growing trend everywhere. The article analyzes digital banking marketing strategies and opportunities that are indispensable conditions for attracting customers in a changing business environment. The paper highlights the role of social media in shaping individual messaging in the banking industry and creating a product tailored to the target audience. Based on secondary data analysis, the focus is on the role of mobile marketing in digital banking marketing. It is noted that mobile marketing simplifies the implementation of banking operations for customers. The article highlights the importance of switching to digital services in the banking industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicators of digital channel usage, customer engagement in mobile banking, and forecasts for the future. It has been shown that in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the key issue for banks is to identify consumer confidence-building indicators. The paper presents the latest statistics that have reflected on the underlying characteristics of consumer behavior from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to the present day. After analyzing the secondary data, the article found that the active use of smartphones has increased the importance of online advertising, which will continue in the future. With this in mind, the key recommendations that financial companies need to follow to succeed and optimize their budgets are precisely in the direction of popular digital platforms. One of the most important issues of the paper is the increased consumption of cryptocurrency in the world, which is due to its sharp increase in popularity among users. Based on the above, the article shows that if technology companies expand the use of digital currency, the forms of physical services of banks will become obsolete, and the only way to popularize banking products will remain digital marketing. Keywords: Digital Marketing, Banking Marketing, Mobile Banking, COVID-19 Pandemic.

The recent years witnessed the repeated urgency of Georgia's transport potential. In parallel, Georgia's role in the BRI initiative has become clear. Consequently, Georgia's capabilities have become clearer, however, there are still issues in this regard, the study of which will greatly help the country to achieve SDGs and increase efficiency. To achieve the above objective, complex recommendations have been developed within the scope of the survey that will significantly increase the country's transport potential and attractiveness; however, it should also be noted that the impact of the transit corridor on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote inclusive economic development/growth in the long-term perspective should be considered. The survey is dedicated to the analysis of Georgia's transit potential, opportunities, existing problems, challenges and prospects, as well as recommendations for the use of this potential to achieve the country's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which analyzes the country's top priorities, current risks and economic development opportunities. In the 21st century, globalization is becoming more and more extensive as a phenomenon. The article discusses the popularization of globalization and its transformation as a world dilemma caused by new world rules. The aim of our research is to determine what kind of impact globalization has had, because judging by the example of our country, the country has undergone a transformation as well as political, economic, cultural, and social factors. One of the main integration processes is the goal of bringing individual groups into a single social and cultural framework of self-identification, which has become irreversible and poses a major problem for the identity of countries, as well as economic, social, political stability and security of the population. In this article, we use the following research methods: Qualitative research methods, which include a qualitative study of written documents, focus groups, monographic research, etc. A specific case study, on the example of Georgia, the same Case study method that helped us to better study and analyze the facts. The processes of globalization have somewhat reduced the sovereignty of states. Modern states are powerless to control or deal with globalization, to reduce or limit its scope. However, this did not lead to the destruction of the states. By the way, some states have become more powerful. This is especially noticeable in the example of post-Soviet countries, one of the highlights of which is Georgia. Globalization, like all events, has its pros and cons, but the most worthy positive side of globalization is that it has created and established independent and sovereign states that are becoming stronger day by day in the scientific, social, cultural, political, and economic spheres. Keywords: Independence, Georgia, Globalization, Post-Soviet Country, State.
