The state of art on dynamic mathematical models of induction machines: circuit-field coupled models 感应电机动态数学模型的研究现状:电路-场耦合模型

Although circuit models of induction machines are simple and can be solved quickly, the changes of the lumped parameters in the circuit model during dynamic processes are difficult to be estimated. In this paper, the circuit-field coupled mathematical models of induction machines are scrutinized and their implicit hypotheses, limitations and the appropriate applications of such models are highlighted.

Design of a permanent-magnet brushless DC motor drive for an electric bicycle 电动自行车用永磁无刷直流电动机驱动设计

This paper presents the design of an axial-field PM brushless DC motor drive for use on an electric bicycle. Constructional details of the motor and the electronic converter are given. Performance analysis using the finite element method is briefly discussed. A prototype motor drive was constructed for verifying the actual performance. Good correlation between the theoretical and experimental results has been obtained. Test results confirmed the feasibility of the proposed motor design.

An optimal design for robot dynamic control 机器人动态控制的优化设计

In this paper we consider the problem of the optimal design in robotics systems. First we discuss the problems relating to the optimization of the mechanical structure in dimensions and performance. Then the control system and the controller optimal time-energy trajectory planning based on the complete model of the robot taking into account intrinsic and extrinsic constraints, the robot singularities and the task and environment requirements, is discussed. Then an adaptive feedback tracker is developed. This controller is of mixed type and consists of: on the one hand the predictive control which uses a precise model of the manipulator identified in real time, and gives the torque to apply on the articulations in order to assure the desirable movement, and on the other hand, it uses a nonlinear corrector composed of a proportional plus derivative control with adaptive gain chosen such that the error on the displacement and on the speed tends to zero. An adaptive estimation algorithm is also considered to identify on-line the structural variable parameters of the robot. Some numerical results are given, the real time implementation is also discussed.

Improved peak-current-mode control for unity power factor AC/DC converters in discontinuous conduction mode 断续导通模式下单位功率因数AC/DC变换器的改进峰值电流模式控制

In this paper, a new control technique based on the linear peak-current-mode is proposed for power factor correction in AC/DC boost-like power converters in the discontinuous conduction mode at a constant switching frequency. This technique uses a current loop and a slope varying compensating ramp, with input and output feedback signals, to achieve unity power factor even at low output voltages and can be implemented with simple circuit solutions. Experimental results are displayed with the aim of showing the validity of the proposed method.

A novel square-wave converter with bidirectional power flow 一种新型的双向功率流方波变换器

A novel ZVS phase-shift controlled bidirectional DC-DC convertor is proposed. It possesses the conventional features of phase-shifted convertors, including constant switching frequency, zero-voltage switching (ZVS) and voltage control by phase-shift. However, the new convertor has been improved by developing a bi-directional power flow capability and applying synchronous rectification, hence the on-state voltage drop of the active devices are small. Therefore it is recommended for use in an electric vehicle (EV). In this paper, the principle of circuit operation of the proposed convertor was described in detail with mathematical calculations, and the experimental results were also given to verify the concept.

Nonlinear speed controllers for series DC motor 用于串联直流电动机的非线性速度控制器

This paper addresses the speed control of a series DC motor. Based on the nonlinear motor system dynamics, the analysis and design of two novel speed controllers are presented, which are nonlinear PI and integrator backstepping controllers. The speed response following step changes in speed reference and load torque, using the proposed nonlinear controllers and traditional linear PI controllers, is compared to evaluate their merits. It is shown that the proposed controllers can provide stable and more excellent dynamic control performance than that of the traditional PI controllers in terms of rise time, overshoot and steady state error.

A novel single phase doubly salient permanent magnet motor 一种新型单相双凸极永磁电机

In this paper, a single-phase doubly salient permanent magnet (DSPM) motor is discussed. The motor has four stator poles and six rotor poles. Different air-gaps are arranged under stator poles for the purpose of starting. The parking position is in the effective torque zone of the winding. The motor has a simple and robust structure. The principle of operation, modeling and finite element analysis of the motor are investigated in the paper. Experimental results for a prototype machine are also presented.

Classical DC/DC converters usually consist of inductors and capacitors such as buck converter, boost converter, buck-boost converter, Luo-Converters and Cuk-Converter. Because all classical converters consist of capacitors and inductors, they have big size and low power density. The switched-inductor has been successfully employed in DC/DC converters and opened the way to build converters with high power density. For example, Professor John G. Kassakian of MIT designed a new power supply system for the future car in the 21st century (see IEEE Spectrum, p.22-7, 1996). The heart of this system is a two-quadrant DC/DC converter operating the conversion between +42 V and +14 VDC. The authors describe this converter and its operation and fuzzy logic control.

Coordinated power control strategy for flexible AC transmission system 柔性交流输电系统的协调功率控制策略

FACTS controllers have been readily accepted as feasible means for power control for enhancing steady and dynamic performance of power systems during normal and abnormal operation conditions. In this paper, coordinating the power control for achieving the above objectives is envisaged as a basic framework for setting up various control strategies for FACTS controllers. It starts by devising load flow control strategies by coordinating multi power flow controllers and the associated algorithm is extended to formulate the direct and indirect load flow control strategies. A generalized FACTS device model, unified power flow controller (UPFC), is developed to illustrate operation of various aspects of the proposed power coordination.

Owing to the stator and rotor windings fed by different power sources and the asymmetry of the rotor structure, the analyses on the air-gap flux-oriented control of a synchronous motor are more difficult than for an induction motor. The paper elaborates the decoupling characteristics of the air-gap-flux-oriented control for a synchronous motor considering the rotor salient pole effect and the rotor damping windings. It is pointed out that the air-gap flux-oriented control does not realize steady and dynamic decoupling control for a synchronous motor. The results are verified by the feasible simulations and experiments.
