This study was carried out during 2021 growing season at the private rain-fed irrigated system vineyard on two cultivars of grapevine (Rashmiree and White Sadany) and chosen vines were 20 years old, and trained by head system a field experiment was located Shar-Bazher at Wazha village, Sulaimani Governorate, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, to investigate the impact of three different pollinators (Taify, Doshawy, and Trerash) as pollinators (pollen donors) and the control (self-pollination) vines provided no yield on some vegetative growth, yield and chemical characteristics of two grape cultivars. The effect of cultivars, Rashmiree obtained significant influence in (bunch weight, width, weight of 100 berries, and volume of 100 berries) characters, but Sadany gave only in maximum bunch width, in other properties there were nonsignificant differences between cultivars. The Bunch weight, Bunch length, bunch width, and the number of berries per bunch were high significant when Rashmiree cultivar pollinate with Trerash pollinator. While the T.S.S%, Total sugar, lowest in TA% and seeds per berry were high significant when Sadany cultivar pollinate with Trerash pollinator. Rashmiree cultivar gave high significant in TA%, and minimum in T.S.S%, total sugar, and number of seeds per berry when pollinated with Taify pollinator.

This study was conducted at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, the experimental field of the University of Sulaimani, during the growing season of 2012 – 2013. The experiment used two methods of making silage (pit method and plastic/ bag method) by making 18 pits with 100×80×100 cm, and 18 plasticbags sized 22 litter. Each silos contained three different forage types: grasses include whole barley and oat; alfalfa as legume and mixture. Those material were treated with two additives of sugar and molasses;solutions at a rate of 1:10; additives were used to improve silage preservation. The factorial design with a complete randomized block design (CRBD) experiment with three replications were used to analysis this study.Themostimportantresults indicatedthat the highest carbohydrates, ash, crude fat, crude fiber and moisture contents of 15.299, 8.580, 2.966, 18.399, and 70.536 % respectively, were achieved by using plastic bags method. The result showed that the highest carbohydrate content of 16.623% was achieved by using plastic methodwith grasses. However, the highest crude protein content of 22.037% was achieved by using pits with plant mixture and sugar. The highest pH value of 5.527 was recorded by the interaction among pits, plant mixture, and molasses. The highest dry matter content of 36.65% of was recorded by the interaction among plastic, grasses and sugar. The maximum carbohydrates content of 15.693% was achieved by using grasses, while legumes gave the highest contents of ash, crude fat, crude protein and dry matter. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the method of using plastic bags was significant than pits method, the pits method with a mixture of (grasses and legumes) withmolasses produced maximum crude fiber, moisture, crude fat, and dry matter contents.

The current study was conducted to evaluate the efficiency of entomopathogenic fungus Lecanicillium lecanii (1×10 6 ) spore per gram to control Dacus ciliatus on summer squash cucurbita pepo in two different stations ( Tanjaro and Tainal ) in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region-Iraq, of two greenhouses during July to November, 2021, Set up a yellow sticky trap on both sides from each greenhouse to determine the time of the appearance of the adult insect, Fungi of the genus L. lecanii are major insect pathogens, which was used with three different concentrations (2.5, 5 and 7.5) g/L, with sterile distilled water as a control treatment, The results of sstatistical analysisshowed that the pathogen L. lecanii is significant effect with high concentration (7.5) g/L. in both stations to mortality a pest or reduce its field losses, These findings indicate that L. lecanii, is safe for the environment and humans and non-target organisms, as well as for the production of a high quality crop. Therefore, beneficial to farmers when applying an integrated program for control of cucurbit fruit fly pests.
