The aim of this research is to find out the using dictogloss technique improve the students’ writing ability of descriptive text at second grade of MTs Al-jam’iyathul washliyah 40 Tinokkah. The researcher used quantitative approch with pre-experimental research design. Population of this research was eight grade with three classes which consists of 108 students and the sample of research was 72 students in two classes. The technique of collecting data was pre-test and post-test. The technique of analysis data by using SPSS (26.0). The result of this research was obtained tcount= 9.863 > ttable= 1.689 at the significance level ?=0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) = 35, HO is rejected and H? is accepted and implies that the students taught by using dictogloss technique achieve a better score in descriptive text. It means that there are significantly on student writing ability by using dictogloss technique in English subject about descriptive text in eight grade of MTs Al-jam’iyatul Washliyah 40 Tinokkah. Overall, the researcher provides a great starting point for discussion on the use dictogloss technique to write down the sentences, discuss them in groups, and learn new vocabulary. The students helped students to double-check their work and correct.

This article aims to describe the forms of deixis and their reference meanings found in the novel Dunia Anna by Jostein Gaarder. This article is a study that uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data are in the form of words, phrases, sentences that contain deixis in the novel Dunia Anna. The data collection techniques in this study were intensive reading techniques and recording techniques, after which the data were analyzed using the Yule theory with the Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Based on data analysis, five forms of deixis were found in the novel Dunia Anna by Jostein Gaarder, namely persona deixis, place deixis, time deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis. The forms of personal deixis found include 1) (I) and (I) as the first singular personal deixis, 2) (we) and (us) as the plural first person deixis, 3) (you), (you) and (you) as second person singular deixis, 4) (you) as plural second person deixis, 5) (he) and (she) as third person singular deixis, 6) (they) as third person plural deixis. Whereas the forms of place deixis are here, there, and there. While the deixis of time are, present time, past time and future time. Discourse deixis and social deixis are also found in this novel. Discourse deixis includes anaphora and cataphora while social deixis includes age, gender, occupation, and social position. The conclusion of this article is the use of the form of persona deixis that dominates the forms of deixis found in the novel, this is because the characters in the story often mention themselves in the dialogue.

The use of giving and offering help is the primary expression in communication. These expressions in English are often needed, especially for nursing, where meeting with the public, including foreigners, is possible. This study aimed to determine the process of providing material about the expressions used in giving and offering assistance to patients in English and how to pronounce the vocabulary using the role-play method. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach to the subject of nursing students in the first semester at Universitas Wiraraja. The result stated that giving and offering help with role-play occurred with several obstacles. The students' limited knowledge about expressions to provide and assist patients made the learning process not optimal. Only a few expressions were used to describe the expression giving and offering help. Some students had difficulty in choosing words, especially related to health-based words. Errors in pronouncing some vocabulary were also an obstacle in the learning, especially in expressing giving and offering some helps. In addition, due to the mispronunciation, the students speak with low fluency.

The current pandemic situation, which requires the learning process to be carried out from home online, makes it a challenge to learn Arabic. Initially, this policy was very much accepted by learners and educators with excitement. However, the reality is that this policy makes the learning process difficult to implement optimally. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting all data sources. Data source collection is carried out by interviewing teachers and students and documentation. Qualitative studies are carried out to analyze the problems faced by students and offer several possible recommendations to improve the quality of teaching Arabic as a foreign language based on student perceptions, taking into account the social context experienced during the learning process of the 2020-2021 academic year. The purpose of this research is to find problems that are being faced by students and educators in Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic and find the right solution to solve the problem so that the right strategy can be found for learning Arabic during this pandemic for a number of Islamic boarding schools.

The Digital Business study program is a new study program within the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Pancasakti Tegal where previously there were only 3 study programs, namely the Management, Accounting, and Taxation study programs. Every semester the Faculty of Economics and Business always holds Mid Semester Test (MST) and a Final Semester Test (FST), In both implementations, there are still queues of students who have already registered and paid for exams at the Front Office to take exam cards. This queue creates a large crowd at the Front Office and often causes the Administrative division that prints the cards and the Front Office staff to be overwhelmed in printing and distributing test cards to students. This study uses the Zachman Framework architectural model approach which is a framework in providing the basic organizational structure that supports access, integration, interpretation, development, management, and changes to the architectural devices of organizational information systems in the form of a matrix with a combination of planners and owners perspectives and the addition of two more perspectives. namely the perspective of the information system architecture which provides an overview of the design and architectural testing of the system as a novelty method.

The selection and utilization of appropriate and interesting media will have a positive impact on the success of student learning. However, the utilization of learning media, especially those based on information and communication technology for learning Arabic, is still not widely found and rarely done. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of using kahoot media at State Senior High School 4 Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative method with survey technique using questionnaire instrument, 10th grade students of State Senior High School 4 Jakarta totaling 50 people as subjects in this study. This research technique aims to determine whether kahoot media has an effect on Arabic language skills by using kahoot media through cellphones. This learning is done using a cellphone because material from printed books has been used as a source by educators. Teachers are expected to be able to utilize learning media as a means of supporting teaching and learning activities to create interactive learning for students so as to improve students' ability to understand lessons delivered by an educator which will affect learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study, it can be seen that the use of learning media games for students can be applied in the learning process and for further researchers can use this learning media in Arabic language Subjects
