Research on Multi-Mode Medical Image Fusion Algorithm Based on Wavelet Transform and the Edge Characteristics of Images 基于小波变换和图像边缘特征的多模医学图像融合算法研究

This article presents a wavelet transformation based multi-mode medical image fusion algorithm which combined with the edge characteristics of sub-image, making wavelet transformation on multi-source medical image to be integrated firstly, and then set up appropriate fusion operator to make integration according to edge feature of sub-images transformed and human eyes’ different sensitivity on images in HVS, and reconstruct fusion image through inverse transformation at last. Tested by the integration experiment on brain MRI-PET images, it is proved that this method can combine anatomical information and functional information together more effectively, and retain the edge characteristics of original image better. Improvement on Direct Volume Rendering 直接体绘制的改进

Direct Volume-Rendering (DVR) is usually used in medical volume visualization, DVR images tend to be over-loaded with the content (blurred images). Thus, in many practical applications simpler techniques which do not rely on complex transfer functions are employed. For example, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) which depicts the maximum value along each viewing ray. In this paper, we improve the Illustrative context-Preserving volume Rendering based on Visualization Toolkit (VTK). In our method, it can simultaneously visualize interior and exterior structures while preserving clear shape cues. The main limitation of MIP is that it cannot adequately depict the spatial relationships of overlapping tissues. An approach has been proposed to eliminate this drawback: Local Maximum Intensity Projection (LMIP). LMIP is an extended version of MIP. LMIP selects the first local maximum value encountered that is larger than a pre-selected threshold value along an optical ray from the viewpoint in the viewing direction. In this paper we propose an improved local maximum intensity projection. An appropriate threshold and shading are computed in this improved method. We show that the improved method is a useful technology in volumetric dataset visualization. Keywords-direct volume rendering; MIP; LMIP; Shading

Theoretical Study on the Properties of a Composite Film with the Interface Between Two Ferroelectrics 两铁电体界面复合薄膜性能的理论研究

Based on the modified Ginzburg-Landau-Devonshire theory, the behavior of a ferroelectric film consisting of two different materials with an interface parallel to the spontaneous polarization is studied. The results show that for the composite ferroelectric film properties (transformation temperature, pyroelectric coefficient, etc), the Curie-temperature difference between two bulk materials is sensitive influencing factor and the change of the thickness of the transition layer has little influence.

Weighted BDPCA Based on Local Feature for Face Recognition with a Single Training Sample 基于局部特征加权BDPCA的单训练样本人脸识别

One of the main challenges faced by the current face recognition techniques lies in the difficulties of collecting samples. In the situation of law actualizing, passport or status validating, only one sample per person is available. Unfortunately, many reported face recognition techniques rely heavily on the size and representative of training set, and most of them will suffer serious performance drop or even fail to work if only one training sample per person is available to the systems. Such a task is very challenging for most current algorithms due to the extremely limited representative of training sample. In this paper, the two-directional 2DPCA (BDPCA) is developed to attack this problem. The block weighted two-directional 2DPCA (MWBDPCA) is proposed for efficient face representation and recognition. Beside this, the fuzzy theory is applied to classification. Experimental results on ORL and a subset of CAS-PEAL face database show that the method presented achieves even higher recognition accuracy. A New Method of Image Encryption/Decryption via Voice Features 一种基于语音特征的图像加解密新方法

A new framework of image encryption via voice feature is proposed. Voice data is preprocessed and the MFCC coefficients are firstly calculated on each sub-frame; an iterated vector quantization is then applied on the MFCC data to obtain the key to image encryption and decryption. Image encryption and decryption is done in the frequency domain with a simple XOR operation. Due to the uniqueness and long length of the encryption key, along with the frequency domain encryption, the safeness of the whole system is assured.

Image Completion and Its Application in Cultural Relic Preservation 图像补全及其在文物保护中的应用

The restoration of damaged images or the removal of shielding materials in a given image is well known as image completion. An important method is the exemplar-based image completion, which propagates pixel information in the source region into the missing region. Firstly, we compute the filling priority of unknown pixels based on the color and structure information, and determine the patch whose center pixel has the highest priority. Then, find an optimal patch throughout the candidate region surrounding the missing region with SSD. Based on this method, this paper proposes an approach to address the balance problem between image completion quality and efficiency. In cultural relic preservation, our method can assist restorer to recover the damaged old pictures efficiently. The experimental results demonstrate this method can complete both texture and structure images in a visually pleasing manner. Image Quality Evaluation Method Based on the Relevant Parameters 基于相关参数的图像质量评价方法

Image quality evaluation is an important content of the Image Engineering, which plays an important role in the image communication process. Evaluation methods in general can be divided into objective and subjective quality evaluation methods. This paper analyzes the traditional full-reference image quality evaluation method and some of its shortcomings. Based on the analysis of image information and the relevance of the basis of the theory and structural distortion of image quality evaluation methods in-depth analysis, experimental proof of the proposed method, a non-reference image quality evaluation method, improves people's quality of subjective visual consistency.

Extracting Residential Area Information from Dual-SAR Image Based on Object-Oriented Technique 基于面向对象技术的双sar图像居住区信息提取

Quick and accurate extracting residential area information has important practical significance to plantation protection, city planning, and reasonable land use. Hence the paper introduces an innovative method about extracting residential area from dual- polarization SAR image. First of All, create area object using region grow algorithm, secondly select residential area samples artificially and compute average covariance matrix of each type, then extract residential area objects based on Wishart distance. According to the above theory, design the corresponding procedure, and do experiment on dual- polarization SAR image of a region, the result indicates that the method for residential area information extraction has higher precision, less calculations, faster speed than the existing ones.

Remote Sensing Experts Classification System Applying in the Land Use Classification in Guangzhou City 遥感专家分类系统在广州市土地利用分类中的应用

With an increasingly rich of the remote sensing data, how to extract meaningful surface information from the mass of remote sensing data has become a problem pressed for solution. Using the experts classification method, digital elevation model and the generated slope and aspect information as expert-assisted classification parameters, land use types of Guangzhou city are classified. The results show that the participation of more variable information such as elevation and slope can prevent the frequent occurrence phenomenon of same object with different spectra and different objects with same spectrum in the remote sensing classification effectively eliminate the impact of terrain. Consequently, effectively improve the accuracy of remote sensing image classification. Both accuracy of types and precision of the area, experts classification has the higher precision than the maximum likelihood supervised classification, provides an effective way to the land use classification for the complex terrain region.
随着遥感数据的日益丰富,如何从海量遥感数据中提取有意义的地表信息已成为一个亟待解决的问题。采用专家分类方法,利用数字高程模型和生成的坡向信息作为专家辅助分类参数,对广州市土地利用类型进行了分类。结果表明,高程、坡度等更多变量信息的参与,可以防止遥感分类中同一物不同光谱和不同物同一光谱频繁发生的现象,有效消除地形的影响。从而有效地提高了遥感图像分类的精度。无论是类型的精度还是面积的精度,专家分类都比最大似然监督分类具有更高的精度,为复杂地形区域的土地利用分类提供了一种有效的方法。

Analysis of Effects of Natural Cerebrolysin on the Gene Expression Profile of Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Rats by Genome Chip and Bioinformatics 利用基因组芯片和生物信息学分析天然脑溶素对大鼠间充质干细胞基因表达谱的影响

Objective: In order to analyze the effects of Natural Cerebrolycin (NC) on the gene expression profile of Mesenchymal Stem Sells (MSCs), the feasibility of NC's clinical use for Alzheimer's Disease(AD)and the mechanism of its gene molecular Pharmacodynamics were studied. Method: The MSCs of rats were isolated and purified by whole bone marrow adherence and adherence screening method, the homology of the cells was analyzed by immunocytochemistry staining technique. The differential expression genes of MSCs treated with NC were analyzed by Affymetric whole genome gene chip analysis method. Result: Rat MSCs of higher purity (more than 90%) was acquired. After MSCs were treated with NC, 45 differential expression genes were displayed, the expressions of 21 genes among them were up-regulated (FC≥2) and the expressions of 24 genes were significantly down-regulated (FC≤-2).These genes included the genes participate in TGFβ / BMPs, Hedgehog, Bmp and Wnt signal transduction pathways that have relations with cell differentiation &development and /or nervous system function, and learning and memorizing functions, the genes of Ras and G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathways that have relations with cell growth and proliferation and apoptosis, and the genes of MAPKKK cascading. Conclusion: NC's anti-AD pharmacodynamic mechanism of molecular genes could have relations with numerous gene expressions of some signal transduction pathways, which participate in regulating nerve cell differentiation and development, nervous system function, functions of learning and memory, and common cell functions of growth, differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis.
