Special attention in the future will emphasize patterns or studies thatare relevant and new in highlighting sustainable economic growth. Weseek to identify the role of factors outside of fiscal and monetary policyon economic growth in Indonesia, such as happiness, demographicpressures, labor force, and human development. For this purpose, the OLS method has presented time-series data (2015-2019).Prediction studies show that happiness, demographic pressures, andhuman development can increase economic growth in a significantdirection. Another finding is that the labor force cannot significantlycontrol economic growth, slowly decreasing growth with a negativeslope. Practical contributions to developing countries can accountfor endogenous (internal) growth over the long term. The qualityof human resources must prioritize productivity, income, and realwelfare. The government needs to plan a policy framework orientedto the fiscal and monetary side. How to Cite:Irwansyah, I., Paminto, A., Ilmi, Z., Darma, D. C., & Ulfah, Y. (2022). This study aims to determine the relationship between decentralization, viewed from a fiscal and political perspective, and the quality ofroad infrastructure in Indonesian regions. This study uses paneldata of 32 provinces in Indonesia in the 2011–2018 and appliedpooled ordinary least square (OLS) estimation with individual fixedeffectsto capture time-variable estimation. Findings/Originality: Theresults show that special allocation funds (DAK) did not significantlyimprove the quality of damaged roads, although the correlation wasnegative. The apparent improvement in the damaged-road ratio ispresumed to be because the government is currently more focusedon the physical construction of roads than on maintenance, so thelevel/quality of road maintenance is still not optimal. The politicalcompetition was found to be negatively related to the improvementof the damaged-road ratio, indicating that political competitionimproved the quality of budget execution in road infrastructureprovision. How to Cite:Saragih, P. Infrastructure is a part of accelerating economic growth. Theconstruction of toll roads can provide positive and negative impacts. The existence of toll roads can reduce transportation and productioncosts, which will increase domestic and international marketefficiency. However, the construction of toll roads is feared can killsmall businesses. Studies of the effect of operational exit tolls onwelfare are still limited in Indonesia. This study was conductedto identify the impact of toll roads on community welfare in thePandaan-Malang exit tolls area. Using paired t-test and the clusteranalysis method showed that the positive and negative impacts oftoll roads construction on the community in the exit tolls area arevaried for each cluster. Dwiputri, I.N, Allo, A.G, Yusida, E. & Seprillina, L.(2022)。 https://doi.org/10.15408/sjie.v11i1.22108。

Many studies confirm the importance of the role of women in theeffectiveness of government programs, especially the programs aimedat improving family welfare. This study aims to examine the effect ofthe government program of direct cash transfers (BLT) on the humancapital of children in households headed by women in Indonesia.Data for the study was obtained from IFLS (wave 5) and analyzedwith multiple linear regression. The analysis results show that thereis a negative effect of BLT on the education of children. Previousstudies state this is due to the changing behavior of the recipienthouseholds or the spillover effects on the non-recipient households. This research proposes a different reason, such as social discriminationagainst households headed by women. The solid patriarchal culturein Indonesia often ignores female-headed households, so the numberof households receiving social protection programs is relatively verylimited. How to Cite:Setyari, N. P. The purpose of this paper is to review the existing works and literature on halal tourism using bibliometric analysis in an attempt to explore the expanding journey of this concept since its conceptualization. Based on a bibliometric analysis of 77 articles retrieved from the Scopus database from 2004 to Sept 2020, this study employs the following bibliometric techniques such as citation, co-citation, and co-occurrence of author keywords. This study finds the nature and direction of research on halal tourism had been conducted over the past decades. It also finds the most dominant authors, journals, institutions, and countries about the works on halal tourism. However, using a single source of the database could be a limitation of this study that, thus expectedly, additional techniques are needed for future researches. For academicians and practitioners, they could get comprehensive insights on the halal tourism concept from this study, which can reference strategic initiatives to encourage Muslim traveler loyalty and obtain Muslim tourist satisfaction.JEL Classification: M31, Z12, Z30, Z30, Z32How to Cite:Hidayat, S. This study examines the macroeconomic variables exchange rate and BI rate in collaboration with the Coronavirus Disease case against Sukuk. In addition, this study also examines the exchange rate influenced by the BI rate variable and the case of Coronavirus Disease. The data analysis method in this study uses a simultaneous equation model Two-Stage Least Square. This study found that the exchange rate affects the demand for Sukuk while the BI rate does not affect it. But what is surprising is that when the Coronavirus Disease 2019 case occurred, it did not affect the demand for Sukuk. This study also found that the exchange rate is influenced by the BI rate and the case of Coronavirus Disease. The contribution of this research is that when the government cannot intervene in the exchange rate, which can affect the demand for Sukuk, it can be done by intervening in the BI rate.JEL Classification: C30, G12, O10How to Cite:Bawono, A., Rofiuddin, M., Nabila, R., & Anwar, S. JEL分类:C30, G12, o10引用方式:Bawono, A, Rofiuddin, M, Nabila, R, & Anwar, S.(2021)。 https://doi.org/10.15408/sjie.v10i2.21084。

While extensive study deals with bank competition and performance relationship, this study pioneers in focusing the existence Islamic bank in the presence of well established conventional banking system in Malaysia. This paper assesses the impact of changing competition landscape and Islamic bank penetration on bank risk, profitability and capitalization. This study utilizes an unbalanced panel dataset consisting of 37 commercial banks over the period 1997 to 2015. the paper uses a panel VAR methodology to discern the interactions between bank competition and Islamic banking presence on one hand and bank performance on the other hand.Findings: We find evidence supportive of both competition – stability and competition – fragility views for conventional banks. The results suggest that bank competition improves conventional bank risk and, at the same time, lower profitability and capital holdings. As for Islamic banks, competition seems to robustly influence only bank profitability. Finally, we note that increasing Islamic bank penetration improves the risk profile of conventional banks and, as expected, reduces their market power. These results bear important implications on the design of competition policies in a dual banking system as well as on the development of the Islamic banking sector.JEL Classification: C23, G21, G28How to Cite:Sukmana, R., & Ibrahim, M. Sukmana, R., & Ibrahim, M. This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic bank financing, government spending, and investment on economic growth in Indonesia from 2003 to 2019. A quantitative descriptive methodusing the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) analysis was applied. The results showed that in the short term, the variables of Islamic bank financing, government spending, and investment did not have a significant effect on economic growth. This shows that these variables require enough time to affect the economic growth. However in the long term, the results showed that Islamic bank financing and investment respectively have a significant, negative effect on economic growth, while government spending has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.JEL Classification: F22, F24, I32, J01, O15How to Cite:Nofrianto, Muliana, Y., & Cahyadi, A. The growth of sharia fintech is not proportional to the majority of the Muslim population. There are only a few studies that discuss the behavioral intentions of consumers who use sharia fintech. This study aims to identify the factors influencing Muslim's behavioral intentions in using sharia fintech. This study conducted 400 respondents in four types of sharia fintech (digital payment, lending, crowdfunding, and risk and management). This study uses a structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. Variable Planned behavior (PB), Acceptance Model (AM), Use of Technology (UT), Digital Literacy (DL), and Sharia Financial Literacy (SFL) have significant positive effects on Behavior Intention (BI). This study provides recommendations to improve the distribution of internet access infrastructure and the right curriculum in increasing digital literacy, Islamic finance literacy, and also more accessible fintech services.JEL Classification: D83, D91, G2, Z1How to Cite:Setiawan, D., Darwanto., & Gunanto, E.
