Adaptive arrays signal processing at both the transmitter and receiver has been regarded as a key technique with which OFDM can be combined to further improve the performance of wireless network, but they are characterized by a relatively higher implementation complexity. Selection diversity is the simplest way to realize spatial diversity, but the performance improvement of this form of diversity is limited. In this paper, we combine the benefits of these two spatial signal processing and propose a group-selected arrays signal processing approach for MIMO/OFDM networks. In this new scheme, adaptive arrays is group-selected in the spatial domain. Simulation shows that the proposed system can get significant performance improvements over the conventional array based OFDM systems over frequency-selective multipath fading channels with imperfect CSI.

In the evaluation of self-organized algorithm for web service providers, we need a great deal of web service information. And these services should be of natural similar properties by which they will be grouped into several alliances. In this paper, we propose an auto-generating method for web service contents based on artificial immune system. First of all, a semantic tree is designed to define the range of the web service contents. Then, according to this semantic tree, we design a coding scheme for web service content following the principal of genetic variation. Finally, negative selection is imposed on the new content-data in the constraint of the similarity. The experimental results show that the coding scheme and control strategy reduce the complexity of the algorithm. And the visualization results show that these generated content-data get together under the designed algorithm.

In this paper the continuous and discrete ML criteria used in UWB localization will be discussed. Two ToA estimation methods using ML criteria basing on peak-detection will be studied deeply. In search and subtract algorithm, according to the ML criteria, we adjust the observation parameter which is used to calculate the amplitude estimation. We also propose a quick searching method and two corresponding stopping criteria for this algorithm. A cluster-peak-detection-based algorithm will be shown in the paper. We also will discuss its stopping criteria problem.

Xen is popular in Server Consolidation, in which performance evaluation is very important to get the best configuration. However, existed works paid much attention to single-thread benchmarks in SMP, and few works are focused on multithreaded benchmarks in chip-multiprocessors (CMP). Therefore, we dedicate to evaluate Xen hyper visor using a new multithreaded benchmark suit named PARSEC developed for CMP architecture, in which different configurations are tested to conclude rules of running multithreaded applications in Xen virtualization environment. Experimental results show that it is trivial difference between binding DomU's vcpus to share L2 cache cores and not share L2 cache cores. So, we do not need to care the SMP or CMP architecture when running multithreaded applications.

This article presented a localization algorithm of indoor mobile robot based on landmark. In order to navigate swiftly, one kind of landmark is designed, which is apt to recognize, convenient to extend. Because of noise error, the position of mobile robot calculated by single landmark is imprecise, so a method for localization of mobile robots was proposed by multiple landmarks. A mobile robot measures directions of landmarks while moving. Target landmarks are changed depending on the situation of the robot. The robot estimates its position by the directions of the landmarks and its moving distance. Experimental results show that the proposed landmark model is effective and achieved accurate localization.

With the advances in sensor networks and in the Internet of Things, the data management problem for massive heterogeneous sensor data has become a hot research issue. It is obvious that a cloud data management framework for this purpose is greatly desirable. In this paper, we propose a Relational Data-Base and Key-Value store combined Cloud Data management ("RDB-KV CloudDB") framework for managing sensor data. The experimental results show that the RDB-KV CloudDB can provide satisfactory performances in large scale sensor-based systems.

With the development of the distributed artificial intelligence system, multi-agent system (MAS) has been applied in construction of large-scale fault diagnosis systems. Procedure of construction of the knowledge base about fault diagnosis in conventional knowledge models cannot satisfy demands of a synchronism and concurrency of the system. To solve problems mentioned above, a new WFPN model and the corresponding fuzzy reasoning algorithm are proposed in this paper. The effectiveness of this method is verified by simulation. Results show that this model has advantage in building of large-scale fuzzy fault diagnosis systems over conventional knowledge models.

Selective adaptive arrays signal processing and selective space-time coding signal processing can reduce the implemental complexity of developing MIMO systems in practice while still having benefits of multiple arrays. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of selective adaptive arrays signal processing and selective space-time block coding signal processing and compare their performance under perfect CSI available at both the transmitter and receiver. By comparing their performance, we see that selective adaptive arrays signal processing outperforms selective space-time coding signal processing when perfect CSI is available at both the transmitter and receiver.
