Masalah pada penelitian ini di fokuskan pada analisis kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan Noun Clause (that, wh word, if/weather) pada mahasiswa semester dua program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Baturaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan Noun Clause pada Mahasiswa Semester Dua Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Baturaja. Pada investigasi ini, penulis menggunkan metode penelitian deskriptip, dan populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester Dua Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Baturaja, serta jumlah populasi adalah 28 mahasiswa. Dalam hal ini, penulis menggunakan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel penelitian. Selanjutnya, penulis menggunakan esai test dalam mengumpulkan data. Sehingga, hasil yang diperoleh adalah sebagian besar kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa terdapat dibagian ommisin, 47 kesalahan (38.21%). Yang kedua, kesalahan misordering, 30 kesalahan ( 24.39%). Yang ketiga, kesalahan additin, 26 kesalahan ( 21.13%). Dan yang terakhir, kesalahan misformation, 20 kesalahan (16.26%). Jadi, dari hasil ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa sebagian besar mahaiswa di semerter dua program studi pendidilan bahasa inggris universits baturaja ini masih membuat kesalahan dalam menggunakan noun clause

This research was conducted to investigate capitalistic anthropocentrism towards nature and women in the novel Tanah Tabu. Freeport is an actor of capitalistic anthropocentrism while the Baliem Valley and the character of women in Tanah Tabu are representatives of the exploited objects. The analysis was carried out using the ecofeminism theory by Vandana Shiva. Therefore, the implication was to study the capitalistic anthropocentrism actions of Freeport which were examined based on the objectives of western colonialism (the United States) that came to Papua by developing the mining industry. The results of this study are first, the character of capitalistic anthropocentrism by Freeport is known from their motives in developing civilization with modern science, modernism towards conservatism, and colonialism. Second, ecofeminism places the character of Tanah Tabu women in role dualism; as victims and fighters against capitalistic anthropocentrism.

This article presents about the study of remember and bring it back the local genius based on harmony education among Lampung ethnic society. The purpose of the study was to describe the noble values in local genius Lampung ethnic society regarding the activities of harmonious and peaceful life in the midst of multicultural society. The focus of the study was the philosophy of Lampung people, it was Piil Pesenggiri that had some values: Nemui Nyimah, Nengah Nyappur, Sakai Sambaian, and Juluk Adek/Adok. Those values were hold tight, become spirit, source identity self, dignity, the grandeur of life, etic code/moral (what is Good) in life of Lampung etnic society. This study were collected throught any research paper about Piil Pesenggiri. The results showed that Piil Pesenggiri could play a role in developing the awareness of the importance of group life and encourage cooperation to achieve commons goals.

Karena tujuan utama pembelajaran bahasa asing adalah agar siswa mampu menggunakannya untuk berkomunikasi, penting untuk mengetahui alasan-alasan yang membuat siswa enggan menggunakan bahasa asing yang dipelajari untuk berkomunikasi. Salah satu faktor internal yang diasumsikan oleh banyak peneliti menjadi penyebab utama yang menentukan penggunaan bahasa asing yang dipelajari dalam komunikasi yakni Willingness to Communicate (WTC). WTC merupakan kecenderungan siswa untuk terlibat atau tidak dalam suatu komunikasi menggunakan bahasa asing yang dipelajari. Semakin tinggi tingkatan WTC seseorang, semakin sering ia akan terlibat dalam komunikasi menggunakan bahasa asing yang dipelajari sehingga pada akhirnya akan membuat kemampuan berbahasa asingnya meningkat dikarenakan frekuensi penggunaan atau implementasi yang lebih sering. Tingkatan WTC dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor diantaranya self-esteem, motivasi, anxiety, dan faktor-faktor individual lainnya. Oleh karenanya, guru bahasa Inggris sebaiknya mengimplementasikan strategi-strategi pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan WTC siswa sehingga siswa akan lebih sering menggunakan bahasa asing yang dipelajari untuk berkomunikasi.

The legal basis for the application of learning based on local wisdom in higher education in Indonesia is contained in Permenristekdikti Number 44 of 2015concerning the National Standards of Higher Education (SNPT). This is the basis of this research article. This study is entitled "Teaching Material Based on Local Wisdom (Piil Pesenggiri) with the Support of Interactive Learning Media Based on Prezi Presentation". The research objective is to design teaching materials based on local wisdom (Piil Pesenggiri) with the support of interactive learning media based on Prezi Presentation. Based on the results of the study it can beconcluded that: 1) by internalizing the values contained in the Pesenggiri Piil in Poetry Study teaching materials, students are able to get positive values on poetry; 2) by involving local wisdom in teaching materials, students are able to absorb the norms and values contained in the Pesenggiri Piil; 3) entering theIndustrial Revolution 4.0 era, teaching materials supported by interactive learning media based on Prezi Presentation are very relevant and more interesting.

Program Penugasan Dosen di Sekolah (PDS) gives experience for the lecturers to understand comprehensively students’ characteristics in learning process. The learning process applied at STKIP Muhammadiyah Kotabumi based on KKNI-Dikti based curriculum with the characteristics which are interactive, holistic, integrative, saintific, contextual, them atic, collaborative, and student-centered. Indonesian syntax course focused on the students or how the students learn and understand the concept of material as well as implement it based on the concept understood. The method used in this article is descriptive method and qualitative approach in which describing the condition of fourth semester students in Indonesian syntax course. Based on the finding it was found that 88% students were active, creative and enthusiastic in learning process because the method and learning model are varied. It made the students to be more interested and active in following the learning. Meanwhile, 12 % students were active and motivated to learn. It can be concluded that the sudents’ achievement was increased.

The learning process applied at STKIP Muhammadiyah Kotabumi based on KKNI-Dikti based curriculum with the characteristics which are interactive, holistic, integrative, saintific, contextual, them atic, collaborative, and student-centered. Indonesian syntax course focused on the students or how the students learn and understand the concept of material as well as implement it based on the concept understood. The method used in this article is descriptive method and qualitative approach in which describing the condition of fourth semester students in Indonesian syntax course. Based on the finding it was found that 88% students were active, creative and enthusiastic in learning process because the method and learning model are varied. It made the students to be more interested and active in following the learning. Meanwhile, 12 % students were active and motivated to learn. Kemampuan menyimak dalam bahasa Inggris adalah kemampuan yang tidak mudah dikuasai oleh semua siswa yang bukan penutur asli bahasa tersebut. Kemampuan ini harus didukung oleh penguasaan kosakata bahasa Iggris yang baik, mengaitkan makna kata dan frase bahasa Inggris dengan konteks topik pembicaran sehingga dapat menyimpulkan dengan benar isi pembicaraan yang disimak, mengikuti kecepatan berbicara penutur asing dan aksen berbicara yang berbeda-beda, memahami konteks struktur tata bahasa yang biasa dipergunakan dalam bentuk lisan percakapan bahasa Inggris, serta pengetahuan dasar yand dimiliki terkait topik pembicaraan materi yang disimak. Jika semua hal tersebut tidak dikuasai oleh siswa, salah satu dampak yang akan muncul adalah rasa cemas, takut dan khawatir atau dikenal dengan istilah listening anxiety. Listening anxiety harus diantisipasi dan diatasi dengan strategi yang tepat salah satunya dengan menerapkan teknik bottom-up pada proses pengajaran sehingga efek negatif dari listening anxiety dapat diminimalisir secara sifnifikan.
