Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe) which belongs to the Zingiberaceae and the genus Zingiber families, has active ingredients, such as phenolic compounds and terpenes. Some researchers conducted clinical trials to scientifically assess the effectiveness of ginger as an adjunct therapy as a complementary or alternative drug in several diseases, especially gastrointestinal diseases. This study aims to determine ginger extracts' therapeutic effects on adults' gastrointestinal disorders. The research method used descriptive qualitative through the Literature Review (LR) approach. The data source used a secondary source. Data analysis technique selects literature based on title, year, and indexed articles, then reviews articles that match the subject matter. the articles from those journals are compared to find the differences and similarities. The ginger extracts therapeutic effects are obtained in that these extracts are able to relieve nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy by suppressing the activation of 5-HT receptors in enteric neurons. In addition, ginger relieves nausea caused by antituberculosis drugs and antiretroviral therapy. Ginger extract and its constituents also have chemopreventive and antineoplastic properties in gastric cancer.

Childhood obesity has increased significantly over the past four decades. Obesity is the leading cause of preventable death in the world. An excess of body fat or adiposity characterizes it. TNFα expression in adipose tissue increases during the development of obesity. With the magnitude of the risk caused by obesity, efforts must be carried out to overcome obesity. Orlistat is a drug approved for obesity treatment in adolescents and children by the FDA. The data collection method was collected from articles related to orlistat in obesity management with high levels of TNFα in children. The inclusion criteria were from original articles, case-control studies, and review papers on childhood obesity, TNFα, and orlistat.  Orlistat is effective in obesity management with high levels of TNFα in children. Obesity is associated with low-level inflammatory processes in WAT. The increase in adipose tissue mass simultaneously activates inflammatory processes in WAT, located in the liver and immune cells. WAT is the source of several pro-inflammatory cytokines, mainly TNFα. The use of orlistat has been recognized as an effective way to lose weight in childhood obesity. Along with weight loss, a decrease in adipocytes reduces TNF α levels in children.

This systematic literature review was organized to evaluate a potential uterotonic agent named misoprostol, as the choice to prevent and manage PPH. Compiled this systematic review using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guide to analyze the role and efficacy of misoprostol for the prevention of post-partum bleeding after cesarean section. A literature search was conducted on five databases, namely MEDLINE, The Cochrane Library, Wiley Sciencedirect, and Google Scholar based on the PRISMA guide lists. Quality and risk assessments were carried out through the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool 2.0 checklist and any disagreements among the authors that were resolved by discussion. Literature search and selection resulted in ten studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Misoprostol has been shown to reduce post-caesarean bleeding compared to other agents. Evaluation then was carried out through decreased hemoglobin, hematocrit, visual evaluation of bleeding, as well as the need for additional blood transfusions and uterotonic agents. The high incidence of PPH in caesarean section and the magnitude of the accompanying risks indicate the importance of a form of PPH prevention to improve the safety of mother and baby. The results obtained from this study showed the safety and effectiveness of misoprostol in the treatment of PPH after caesarean section.

Maintaining normal blood sugar levels is not enough to treat diabetes mellitus. According to Yudianto, Hana, and Ida (2018), people with diabetes mellitus will carry the disease with them throughout their lives, affecting their health issues related to physical, mental, social, and environmental forms of quality of life. This research is compares persons including type 2 diabetes mellitus’ quality of life before and after CAT, in addition to calculate the effectiveness of cognitive Ayurvedic therapy in enhancing this quality of life. As reported by Lapau in Airlangga (2018), this research consists of a number of components that are combined to obtain information or facts to address research issues or questions. A significant diversity among the pre- and post-test values was found by the Paired Sample T-Test, with a significance level of p 0.000, 0.05 (2-tailed). There was a striking difference among the two tests, so the study’s null hypothesis (Ho) was denied and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was acquired. Ayurveda therapy (CAT) has the highest level of effectiveness for improving respondents' quality of life, with very good results in health issues related to physical, mental, social, and environmental aspects. The Chi-Square pre- and post-test, with a p- value of 0.000, produced the following outcomes at RSU Royal Prima Medan, the persons including type 2 diabetes mellitus’ quality of life is significantly different previously and after treatments.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that cannot be cured and can cause serious complications, including diabetic gangrene. This research is a retrospective non-experimental descriptive study that aims to analyze factors related to the bill for diabetic gangrene debridement services at Aisyiyah Bojonegoro Hospital in 2021. Of the 151 patients who met the criteria, it was found that most diabetic gangrene patients who underwent debridement were aged under 60 years (66.2%), with the most sex being female (53%), and the most degree being grade 1 (51.7%). With a minimum length of stay of 2 days and a maximum length of stay of 13 days. From the results of the study, it was found that the bill was more than INA-CBGs by 37 cases at degree I, 6 cases at degree II, and 24 cases at degree III. So that from a total of 151 patients treated with diabetic gangrene debridement, there were 67 cases where hospital bills were higher (deficit) than INA-CBGs. The deficit results were found in all treatment classes and all levels of severity except in class 2 degrees I and III and in class 1 degree II where a surplus was obtained compared to INA-CBGs. Based on the results of the study, it was found that P-Value <0.05 was at the level of severity, fornas compliance, length of stay and DPJP which means that there was a significant relationship between severity, fornas compliance, length of stay, and DPJP with the total real bills of diabetic gangrene debridement patients.

Each individual has a different perception of himself, positive or negative perception that has an impact on nutritional status. If an individual experiences self-doubt regarding his body shape negatively, he will go on a diet to get the body shape he wants. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image and breakfast behavior on the nutritional status of students of the Nutrition Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Bima in 2022. This type of research was a correlation study with a cross-sectional approach. Respondents to this study were all 70 students of the Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Health, Muhammadiyah University of Bima. Body image data was taken using the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) questionnaire, eating behavior data was taken using the Adolescent Food Habits Checklist (AFHC ) questionnaire, student nutritional status data was taken using body index per age (b/u) based on data on weight, height body, and age of the student. The data analysis used was univariate analysis which was used to determine the description of each variable and bivariate analysis was used to determine the relationship between variables with the Spearman test. The results showed that there was a relationship between body image and nutritional status (p-value = 0.000), and there was a relationship between eating behavior and nutritional status (p-value = 0.040).

The menstrual cycle is the result of a complex interaction between the hormonal system and the body's organs, namely the hypothalamus, pituitary, ovaries and uterus. Regular menstrual cycle is an indicator of women's reproductive health, changes in the menstrual cycle can be associated with ovarian-thyroid dysfunction and pituitary axis. This article aimsto understand the role of endocrinology in the process of the menstrual cycle as well as review the currently available literature on the causes of disorders of the menstrual cycle. The method used is Systematic Literature Review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) flow by collecting articles, according to those obtained from the PubMed database, Wiley Online Library, Science Direct and Cochrane, with the keywords "Menstrual cycle, hormone disruption, gynecological disease , and endocrinology” from the results of the analysis, 6 articles were selected that met the criteria. The conclusion ismany factors influence the occurrence of disturbances in the menstrual cycle that can affect reproductive health, including diabetes, night shift work schedules, nutritional intake, smoking habits, as well as psychological stress and anxiety during the pandemic due to the Covid-19 disease and vaccine administration.
