The problems of regulating the turnover of agricultural land in private ownership, namely, land shares owned by individuals, but not allocated in kind, are considered. It is proposed to create an electronic thematic map of a land plot containing information on the number of participants in the right of common ownership of a land plot, the size of the shares of owners, unallocated land shares, land plots already allocated on account of shares and registered or in the process of setting and registering ights under analogies with the public cadastral map and the Internet map «GIS of St. Petersburg» in the field of land shares. Its creation will make it possible to significantly simplify the work of allocating shares in kind and preparing the necessary cadastral documentation (land survey project and survey plan).

It is shown that the most important cartographic function of projection transformation is not used by the majority of GIS Mapinfo users, so the software has actually turned into a graphic editor due to a gap in users’ knowledge. As the first step in solving the problem, the common concepts and provisions of mathematical cartography and instructions for working with projections are presented in a simple way.

This article presents the results of the study investigated the circumstances of the transfer of ownership rights to privately owned villages located in the XVI – XVIII centuries on the territory of Ruza district, Moscow province. These circumstances were identified, classified and systematized, after which the trends of their changes that occurred during the period under consideration were determined. It is shown that during the XVI – XVIII centuries 68% of the settlements and land plots owned by private individuals remained in the possession of the families that owned them at the beginning of the analyzed period, in 8% of cases, they were transferred for free of charge, and in 24% of cases, this property was involved in business circulation

The article discusses the main features of creating spatial data infrastructure (SDI) elements based on digital images that lack orientation elements, survey parameters, and imagery projection data. The technology for analyzing such images is based on the photogrammetric processing of single images, using the analytical and geometric features of the transformation of local areas – fragments of images obtained by an ultra-narrow bunch of projecting rays.

The article considers the structure, composition and condition of trees and shrubs in the eastern part of the forest park in Moscow region. It is shown that in the process of use and recreation, new species of plants are introduced in the territory, including those capable of natural distribution in these natural and climatic conditions. Due to biological characteristics, some species such as white maple or cerapadus are able to actively spread and replace local species.
