The article presents the results of numerical simulation of a plane problem of elasticity theory by the method of boundary integral equations. The developed algorithm is implemented on the example of a square beam-wall from the action of a horizontal distributed load. The results of numerical simulation are compared with known solutions.

NUMERICAL EXPERIMENT ON SHEAR TESTING OF A CROSS-LAMINATED WOODEN ELEMENT 交叉层合木构件剪切性能数值试验研究

A numerical experiment on shear tests of a model of a wooden CLT-panel revealed the possibility of visualizing the wave process of stress and strain propagation. Deformation as a process continuous in time is described discretely, in minimal time steps, with a visual display of a video sequence of positions in the space of the locus of tangent strain tensors. A qualitative and quantitative continuous wave pattern of stresses shows areas of the model volume where stress and strain waves arise and move. Stress isosurfaces are visualized. It is concluded that it is possible to divide the stress values expected in the numerical experiment into arbitrarily narrow intervals and separately monitor these processes in numerical models.

OPTIMIZATION OF RE-PROFILING ROUND PIPES INTO RECTANGULAR ONES FOR BEAM STRUCTURES 梁结构用圆管转形成矩形管的优化设计

The article presents a new method of converting round pipes into rectangular ones where the width to the height is 1:3 along the median line of the design section. It maximizes their bending bearing capacity. The calculation of optimal parameters of thin-walled rectangular cross sections is given according to the approximate method, the correctness of which is confirmed by testing the used standard profiles. The entire diagram of changes in the design parameters of rectangular pipes during the transformation of their cross sections from vertical to horizontal configurations, including the transition through the outline of a square shape, is shown. A comparative analysis of optimized cross-sections of oval, plane-oval, semi-plane oval and rectangular pipes, taking into account their elastic deformations, is performed. It is once again noted that in order to achieve the greatest bearing capacity for bending oval profiles, as well as all others, it is not permissible to re-profile round pipes with an increase in the length of the middle lines of their cross-sections. The choice in favor of rectangular profile pipes is justified due to their simpler shape, including only plane faces (vertical and horizontal), relatively low cost, lower height, greater compactness, increased moment of resistance.

DIAGNOSTICS OF STRESS-FATIGUE CONDITION OF STEEL STRUCTURES OF A MULTI-STOREY BUILDING 某多层建筑钢结构应力-疲劳状态诊断

This work has shown the effectiveness of coercive diagnostics. The method can be recommended as an initial examination of metal structures in order to identify problem areas and further application of traditional methods of non-destructive testing for a more in-depth examination of these areas of metal structures. Calculation models for obtaining load values in the nodes and structural elements usually do not take into account the errors of technological operations in the manufacture and subsequent assembly of metal structures. Experimental work to determine the stress-strain state of the elements of metal structures of office and residential building was carried out. The supporting steel frame of the building is made of rolled and welded profiles made of C440 steel, using the method of measuring coercive force. Stress-strain state was determined by measuring the coercive force according to the requirements of GOST R58599-2019 in zones and nodes where maximum stresses close to the yield strength of steel C440 were obtained.

CONTACT PROBLEM FOR A RECTANGULAR PLATE ON ELASTIC SEEDING IN POLAR COORDINATES 极坐标下弹性播种矩形板的接触问题

In this paper, the problem of calculating a rectangular plate on an elastic base in polar coordinates by the Zhemochkin method is considered for the first time. Such problems arise, for example, when metal columns of circular cross-section are supported on rectangular bases lying on a concrete base. When solving this problem, several types of Zhemochkin plots in polar form were used. The Saint-Venant principle was widely used to determine the displacements of the elastic base from a single force distributed over a complex-shaped Zhemochkin section. Two examples are considered: a square plate on an elastic base and a rectangular plate also on an elastic base. In the last example, along with the Zhemochkin sections, rectangular sections were used in polar coordinates. Numerical results are obtained showing the phenomenon of decreasing contact stresses in places near the corners of the plate.

A METHOD FOR STRUCTURAL RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF TRUSSES’ JOINTS BASED ON P-BOXES 基于p - box的桁架节点结构可靠度分析方法

The article presents a new approach to probabilistic analysis of reliability for steel trusses’ joints based on p-boxes. The p-box is an area formed by two boundary cumulative distribution functions (CDFs) inside which there is a real cumulative distribution function (which is unknown due to the epistemic uncertainty of statistical data). The research demonstrates an algorithm for arithmetic operations with p-boxes by discretizing them into the Dempster-Shafer structures. Information about the failure probability of trusses’ joints is necessary to consider the truss reliability as a mechanical serial system in terms of reliability theory. The use of p-boxes makes it possible to obtain a more cautious model of a random variable due to the absence of the need to adopt some statistical hypotheses about the type of probability distribution of various random variables in mathematical models.

The article is devoted to an urgent problem related to the reasonable consideration of changes in the stiffness characteristics of core elements in finite element models when calculating buildings and structures made of monolith reinforced concrete. The approach proposed in the article is aimed at meeting the requirements of SP 63.133330-2018 "Concrete and reinforced concrete structures" and SP 430.1325800.201 "Monolithic structural systems". The sequence and content of the stages of solving the problem of determining conditional coefficients of stiffness reduction are disclosed. The results of calculation of conditional coefficients of stiffness reduction and modulus of concrete deformation are presented on the example. The area of variation of the coefficients and modulus of deformation for a given level of loading of the structure and structure is shown. It is shown how the change in the stiffness of the finite elements affects the redistribution of bending moments in the beam structure in comparison with the calculated model with the initial stiffness of the same for all finite elements of the model.

This article discusses the isolation of linear and nonlinear components of thermal creep deformations on the basis of the energy theory of nonlinear creep and prolonged strength proposed by V.D. Harlab. For the theoretical description of the thermal creep of concrete, a rheo-logical model with a variable number of elastic and viscous bonds (V.D. Kharlab, I.A. Kupriyanov) was used. Analysis of numerical calculations confirmed the assumption that the nonlinear component of creep is independent of temperature. The results are recommended for use in the design of concrete structures operating in conditions of temperature changes.

ANALYSIS OF SHEAR BUCKLING OF STEEL BEAM-WEBS WITH CIRCULAR OPENIGS 圆开口钢腹板剪切屈曲分析

In spite of half century experience of application of perforated beams the local bucking of their webposts is not finally researched till now. In manuals there is no relations for their critical loads corresponding to buckling of web-posts under shear. In the study the numerical analysis by the finite element method is performed for evaluating the local stability of simply supported cellular beam-webs with circular openings. Variant of loading of beam with concentrated force was considered, which assure constant value of shear force along the length of beam. Obtained empirical relation allow take into account not only parameters of perforation but influence also of bending moment on the shear buckling of web-posts. Analysis by FEM also confirmed permitted accuracy of analytical approach to evaluation of stability of web-posts.

INFLUENCE OF THE HETEROGENEOUS OF THE MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SYSTEM “LINING–SOIL MASSIF” ON THE STRESSED STATE 衬砌-土体体系力学特性的非均质性对受力状态的影响

The problem of a cylindrical hole in the soil massif at a great depth, in weak flooded soils, i.e. the array was considered as an incompressible material with a Poisson’s ratio . The calculation was carried out in order to determine the influence of the function of heterogeneity of the mechanical characteristics on the stress state of the “support-soil mass” system. The problem was considered as a one-dimensional case of a plane deformed state. In this work, we considered problems for all possible combinations of the three cases of functions of Young’s support modules and four cases of elastic moduli of the soil massif . Based on the calculation results, an analysis was carried out on the basis of which the following conclusions were made: the stress state of the lining - soil mass system is practically independent of the function of the Young’s modulus of the soil , which may be due to the rather low values that the modulus of elasticity of the soil massif assumes, in comparison with the modulus of elasticity of the lining. Functions of the modulus of support affect the stress state of the lining itself and have little effect on the stress state in the soil massif. When decreasing at the hole boundary, stresses also decrease. Based on the conclusions made, it can be said that when creating inhomogeneous lining it is possible to obtain a case of an equally stressed or equal strength state of lining [1, 8], which in turn can lead to a significant economic effect.
