This paper introduced the personalized recommendation technology to the news system. In order to meet the demand of the users' personality and ease the problem of data sparse, the research work proposed the hybrid collaborative filtering algorithm based on news recommendation. It improved correlation coefficient formula by adding news hot parameter when calculating the similarity of users, and then used hybrid recommendation algorithm to forecast users' ratings to make user-rating matrix to non-zero values. Experimental results illustrated that the hybrid recommendation algorithm can effectively increase the accuracy and stability of recommendation so as to achieve better recommendation results.

Fault-tolerant mechanisms have been an essential part of electronic equipments in extreme environments these years. The combined analog circuit system can work properly when one or several parts of it break down. Then, what factors affect the fault-tolerant performance of such systems? System function is the most direct reflection of the output of a circuit, it can necessarily give us much useful information. From the perspective of vectors, this paper analyzed the phase angle of the combined circuit system based on system functions and furthermore inferred the relation between angle and fault-tolerant abilities. Experimental results show that, the larger angle a combined circuit system has, the better its fault-tolerant performance is, which will provide great benefit for designing analog circuit with better fault tolerance.

With the continuous development of the electronic technology, there are many advanced technique that can be a threat to the traditional radar system in the modern war. The viability of radar systems is more and more depending on their anti-jamming capabilities. In other words, the radar is useless if it is not an anti-jamming radar. The viability of the radar system has been dramatically increased due to the use of the phase array radar. In phase array radar system, there are always thousands of antenna units. Each antenna unit has its own signal processing system. All the antenna units are put together in a plane according to some given order. In order to reduce the cost, we have to decrease the number of receive paths. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an approach to reduce the paths in phase array radar. The simulation results show that our proposed approach works well.

This paper presents an infrared image processing system for monitoring and mapping the thermal distribution of regions in mobile remote sensing applications. The processing system consists of five modules: non-uniformity correction, trajectory segmentation, odd even correction, image projection and visualization. It has been designed to perform thermal mapping efficiently and meet the special requirements of fast data processing. The processing system allows for the viewing of thermal distribution in a 2-d map model. The efficiency and effectiveness of the developed system are evaluated and tested by several image processing tasks.

The gradient descent bit-flipping (GDBF) decoding algorithm offers an attractive tradeoff between performance and complexity compared with the other bit-flipping (BF) decoding algorithms. However, the performance of GDBF decoding is seriously effected by infinite decoding loop, which always results in decoding failure when maximal iteration number is reached. To avoid the decoding loop and improve the performance, an efficient escaping scheme is proposed for the GDBF algorithm in this paper. This scheme firstly introduces syndrome weight to detect the decoding loop. If a decoding loop is detected, the escaping mechanism works, where only the bit which can decrease the syndrome weight most efficiently is selected to be flipped. In addition, the excluding set is introduced to further prevent the local maximum. Simulation results show that the GDBF algorithm can obtain about 1 dB code gain by utilizing this scheme. Compared with noise GDBF, it has 0.1dB performance loss as well as lower complexity.

In this paper, we propose a SIFT-based multi-frame super resolution for 250 million pixel images. In the proposed method, we first use the SIFT operator to detect key points in each frame. Then we use a closest matching method to find the correspondence among multi-frame images. The corresponding key points are used to register multi-frame images to a reference image, which is randomly selected from the multi-frame images. After registration, we combine the aligned multi-frame images to form a high-quality and high-resolution image. We applied the proposed method to enhance the quality of 250 million pixel images, which is obtained by the Canon's 250Mpixel CMOS-image-sensor.

A number of other important tasks can not be effectively carried out without proper time synchronization in wireless sensor networks. So time synchronization is an important part of wireless sensor network, and it has high research value. In this paper, an improved IROS synchronization algorithm is proposed based on the study of ROS synchronization protocol. By studying the correlation between the random components of different time points in the ROS algorithm, and the use of generalized least squares method to estimate model parameters. Thus, improve the accuracy of the time, and enhances the robustness of the algorithm, to achieve the purpose of optimization. The simulation results show that the IROS algorithm is less than ROS algorithm, and the average error ratio is 10 µs, and IROS broader scope, more robust.

In the Gaussian mixture model based online writer identification system, the writer specific models are usually learned by adapting the universal background model. However, among all the possible adapting plans, which one performs best is still an unsolved problem, as well as the underlying principles. Towards finding the answer, this paper analyses all the combinations of the parameter adaptation. The conclusion is that the local and global adapting plan make use of different information for discrimination. Adapting both the local and global aspect is capable of use the both information for discrimination. In the experiments, a study of 5 specific adapting plans is performed in different available test data, relevance factor, number of mixtures and feature set, which shows the advantages of the plan adapting both aspects. On the point based feature set, the weight adapting plan performs better than the mean adapting plan, which is contradict with the current research. On the all point based feature set, the plan adapting both the mean and weight acquired competitive performance with the state-of-the-art.

In the era of big data, Content-Based Image Retrieval combined with deep learning technology gradually becomes the mainstream. This method can overcome some drawbacks of traditional CBIR, but at the same time there are still some problems to be solved, such as: The extracted feature dimension (generally more than 2000) is higher, which is not beneficial for efficient data storage and fast real-time query on a large scale; And the measurement method for feature matching is difficult to be determined, since the typical method based on distance is designed in the low dimension, but in high dimensional space curse of dimensionality can make those former methods may be no longer suitable. In this paper we discuss a fast efficient CBIR to improve the performace of image retrieval system, through contrasting different model and metric choices. Contrast experiments show that 4 kinds of distances (namely Euclidean Distance, Minkowski Distance, Cosine Distance, Pearson Correlation Distance) is more suitable for processing the similarity measurement on high-dimensional feature, and 5 kinds of models ( namely vgg-m-128, vgg-m-1024, vgg-m-2048, vgg-verydeep-16, vgg-verydeep-19) have higher average query precision for image retrieval task.
