According to the insufficiencies existing in Dempster-Shafer theory of evidence when it deals with the conflicting evidences, many scholars have presented modified rules based on reallocation of the basic probability assigned to conflict. A new combination rule is presented to mend the disadvantages of the rules. This rule analyzes the validity of evidence set according as the extent of conflict with the use of the reliability of evidential sources and support measure of the evidence, and realizes information fusion rationally. Experiments shows that the new combination rule overcomes the limitations, and the outputs are constringent on the aspect of rationality, which enhances robustness of systems effectively

Reaction wheels are main actuators of satellite attitude control systems. If a mechanical failure of one out of four reaction wheels occurs, it should be detected quickly and the controller need be reconfigured to restore three-axis control using healthy reaction wheels. To realize fault tolerant control, a predictive filter is applied to obtain information of states and faults. Considering the actual reaction torques on wheels as unknown inputs, they can be estimated by a predictive filter with states. Based on this algorithm wheel faults can be diagnosed. In this paper, a controller reconfiguration structure using a predictive filter is presented and the usefulness of this method is illustrated by a simulation to a three-axis stable attitude control system of a satellite

Now most applications of vision guided robotic systems are in workspaces where the environments are strictly controlled. The vision system and the manipulator should be precisely calibrated before the system works. In this paper, a control structure combining an active vision system and a manipulator is proposed to simulate the mechanism of a man grasping a target. The binocular active eyes track the target and using inner sensors to simulate human's proprioceptor and give the information of the target pose relative to the "arm", namely, the manipulator. A kind of multistage fuzzy-neuro control strategy is adopted. The advantage of this method is that it can reduce the fuzzy rules number greatly. The simulations show that the system is stable and robust

Micro-core is one general module of satellite, and its function density is very high. A new idea and a new concept are adopted to design micro-core. Aiming at attitude determination system (ADS) of micro-core, this paper adopts an optimization design method to determine parameters of sensors. In aspect of selecting sensors of attitude determine system, the optimization method adopted in this paper is greatly different from traditional methods, and realization of this method has important effects on design of micro-core and even on micro-satellite in the future. This paper selects both ADS based on star sensor and fiber-optic gyroscope (FOG) combination and ADS only based on star sensor as ADS of micro-core, and adopts extended Kalman filter (EKF) to estimate attitudes. This paper sets up optimization model of ADS, and adopts optimization method to determine parameters of star-sensor and FOG, and then optimization results are achieved, and finally are validated. By analyzing results, the optimization method is proved to be feasible and valid

With the development of Internet, how to extract the useful information from data with the characteristics of distributed, mass, heterogeneous, complicated and correlative has become one of the most important problems in the domain of distributed data mining. To the limitation of the traditional ID3 algorithm, this paper presents an advanced distributed ID3 algorithm with its model based on mobile-agent technology. And finally, the executing result of this model will prove the efficiency and scientificalness of the algorithm

Log-polar transformation (LPT) is a primary model of the space-variant vision theory. In the paper, in order to acquire images of mapping transformation matrix, the distance transformation and angle transformation of LPT are researched respectively. The implementation of the discrete algorithm of LPT is explored in details, pointing out that there is a one-to-one mapping ring in the transformation of distance axis and angle axis. Meanwhile, a new transformation algorithm based on the united one-to-one mapping ring is put forward. In addition, the algorithm of the reverse transformation of LPT is also presented and researched. At the same time some practical applications are given

This paper considers the robust control of a four degree of magnetic bearing system. Rotors with gyroscopic effects are being modeled as linear systems with structure uncertainties, while the speed disturbance of the magnetic bearing system can be treated as structure uncertainties. A simple output feedback controller is proposed for minimizing eigenvalue sensitivities based on complete parametric eigenstructure assignments. The basic idea is to minimize the eigenvalue sensitivities using the design freedom provided by eigenstructure assignments. Besides the design parameters, the eigenvalues of closed-loop system are also optimized within desired regions. The optimizing results demonstrate the effects of the approach

MR material is widely used in aerospace engineering for its porosity and dry friction damping characteristics. The paper studied theoretically and experimentally the damping characteristics of metal rubber damper used in the flexible supporting of turbo-pump rotor of aircraft engine. It investigated the method for calculating damping coefficient and stiffness of the damper loaded with an external rotary force. In addition, the study also analyzed the effect of the structure parameters, such as relative density, which along with loading condition, were proved to be two key factors in determining the damping performance of the damper

In this paper an improvement is proposed to solve a problem in the object recognition using GRAS: when an object is rotated, the change may not be acceptable by GRAS in most cases. The proposed algorithm searches the shape of a given object to define some nodes by Archimedes's spiral, and transforms the nodes into a directed graph. Then, it defines some interrelated graph characteristics to compare the given object with others. The performance of the proposed algorithm is presented via experimental results which compare the recognition accuracy of GRAS and proposed algorithm

This paper puts forward a differentiated processing framework for near-real time traffic and reliable traffic in a same node. As node's complexity and the contradiction of two kinds of traffic are considered, we extend packet's data structure, use multi-path minimum delay routing protocol as the sharing routing module. Retransmission in the MAC layer guarantees reliable transmission and multi-path helps to keep low delay. The MAC layer is added a notifying function to inform the upper layer of route broken. In addition, multiple queues and accessing queues pro rata in MAC layer fit for practical needs well. They are also convenient for bandwidth allocation for near-real time transmission
