A condition of heat exchange between the layershaving different thermalphysic properties in a two-layercylindrical roll of a rolling mill is analyzed foe an ideal thermalcontact. It can be realized with application of the condition ofheat balance of one of the layers in the cylindrical area for ahomogeneous equation of heat conductivity. Analyzed was asimplified target setting in the radial section with a supposition,regarding an averaged in radius temperature distribution in theouter layer. By applying the condition of the thermal balance andby integrating the homogeneous equation of heat conductivity inthe two-layer area a condition of cohesion of an impedance typein case of an ideal thermal contact between the layers wasconstructed.

The problem of heat removal from the substrate of LED light sources is considered. Modern methods of cooling of LEDs are reviewed. The calculation method is given and the radiator area for passive heat removal is calculated. The radiator was selected according to the given criteria.

The article deals with the issue of determining theenergy baseline of municipal water supply facilities, taking intoconsideration their actual operation conditions. The purpose ofthe article is to develop the principles of organization ofinformation support for the procedures of power consumptionplanning and their integration into the energy managementsystem. The formalization of the power consumption planningprocess has been performed based on the object-orientedtechnology. Classes that take into account the characteristics ofthe facility, water consumption, methods of planning watersupply and power consumption have been formed. Description ofthe properties and methods of the classes has been accomplished.The architecture of the information support system for planningprocedures has been proposed. WEB-oriented technologies hasbeen suggested to use for information exchange. This allowscreating a single information space, taking into consideration theactual operation conditions of the research object.

This work is devoted to the problems of recognition of discrete objects. It continues a series of articles devoted to the study of recognition systems in the form of logical trees, optimization of synthesized systems of classification of discrete objects, studies of their maximum complexity and the possibility of building effective methods to minimize them. Here the scheme of construction of system of recognition of discrete objects on the basis of a logical tree is step by step considered, and in the center of research there is a graph-circuit model of system of recognition in the form of a logical tree. Note that the results of this robot are relevant for all pattern recognition problems, in which the resulting recognition scheme can be represented as a logical tree.
