A tunable-frequency system for touch-less heartbeat detection and HRV extraction 一种用于非接触式心跳检测和HRV提取的可调频率系统

This paper presents a practical study for heartbeat detection at 1 m distance. Our microwave system, based on a vector network analyzer, is used at 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, 10 GHz, 16 GHz, and 60 GHz. Heart Rate Variability is extracted from the time domain variation of the phase of S21 for both the original and the smoothed signal, and its standard deviation is calculated.

On using turbo codes over Rice flat fading channels 在Rice平坦衰落信道上使用turbo码的研究

The turbo code performance over time-varying channels using QPSK modulation is evaluated in this paper. For this purpose we have considered a block random in line (BRL) interleaver. On the basis of this interleaver, we have further simulated the turbo code performance over Rice flat fading channel using 15 iterations. Also, we have studied the impact of the estimation error in the calculation of the channel log-likelihood ratios Lc.

On the time-frequency localization of the wavelet signals, with application to orthogonal modulations 小波信号的时频局部化及其在正交调制中的应用

Orthogonal modulations are powerful techniques for digital data transmission, very well suited to radio channels. They use orthogonal basis, whose elements will be the “subcarriers” used in transmission. Some advantages of the wavelet functions compared to the windowed complex exponentials used in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) are highlighted. Thus, theoretical proof that Daubechies wavelets have better time-frequency localization is provided, opening new paths towards modern orthogonal modulation approaches, based on wavelets.

On symmetry properties of lumped resistive networks 集总电阻网络的对称性

Some important properties of indefinite matrices describing symmetrical lumped resistive networks are presented. A new property for the product of the indefinite matrices Yi and Zi corresponding to total symmetrical networks is discussed. These results are useful for modeling by electrical equivalence many problems in signal processing, computer networking, parallel computing, computer vision, and many others.

Designing an asynchronous FPGA processor for low-power sensor networks 面向低功耗传感器网络的异步FPGA处理器设计

Battery-powered sensor nodes call for low power consumption. As a crucial component, a power-efficient sensor network processor greatly reduce the overall power consumption of a node. In the paper, we propose a low-power asynchronous event-driven sensor network processor mapped onto an off-the-shelf clocked FPGA. Since the processor employs a bundled-data asynchronous encoding scheme, we define a design flow that can use commercial synchronous design tools. No global clock is needed when the processor is in an idle state, thus the standby active power consumption is zero. The use of asynchronous design also results in a quick wakeup response with little design and power overheads. Moreover, an event-driven architecture is proposed to minimize the execution overheads caused by exceptions, interrupts and MMU handling of a conventional microprocessor.

Spectral estimation of damped sinusoids in the case of irregularly sampled data 不规则采样情况下阻尼正弦波的频谱估计

The problem of estimating a spectral representation of damped sinusoidal signals from a gapped data set is of considerable interest in several applications. In this paper, we propose a new iterative adaptive approach, named dIAA, that provides such an estimate also in the case of irregularly sampled data, a common scenario in, for instance, spectroscopical data measurements. Numerical examples illustrate the benefits of the proposed estimator as compared to typically used methods.

In this paper, a new linearization technique using a second generation of current conveyor doublet (CCIID) in CMOS technology is presented. The proposed CCIID is made up a mixed parallel and cross connection of two CCII stages. The output current is given by the difference between the two output currents provided by the two CCII stages. Due to the cross-connection of the two CCII stages, the nonlinearities of these currents are canceled, which determines a linear output current in a large dynamic range.

Hybrid cellular automata as pseudo-random number generators with binary synchronization property 混合元胞自动机作为具有二进制同步特性的伪随机数生成器

This paper introduces random number generators based on hybrid cellular automata (HCA). It is shown that by properly mixing CA cells from two categories (two different rules) an automaton generating near maximal length pseudo-random sequences can be easily obtained. The resulting system is similar to the well-known linear feedback shift register (LFSR) but in addition it posses the binary synchronization property that makes it a valuable ingredient for many applications.

A novel high CMRR low voltage current output stage 一种新型的高共模比低压电流输出级

In this work a novel CMOS Current Output Stage (COS) is presented whose Common-Mode Rejection Ratio is remarkably increased exploiting a novel Common Mode Feed Forward (CMFF) technique to compensate the output common mode signal. The complete stage is designed in 0.13µm technology and simulated with ADS and Hspice. The proposed COS achieved 105dB CMRR and 85dB PSRR while can work under ±1V power supply. Compared to the traditional COS the CMRR and PSRR improvement are higher than 50dB and 30dB respectively.
