Given the expansion of communication in the international educational space, there is a steady demand for good knowledge of foreign languages by modern specialists. In this regard, the list of qualifying professional characteristics of a university graduate necessarily includes his ability to communicate in an information environment where language and communicative competencies are required, as well as knowledge of the socio-cultural realities of the country of the studied language. These and other aspects require innovative approaches to teaching a foreign language, related, in particular, to solving problems of developing foreign language speech activity of university students. In this regard, the article investigated the current problems of digital communication in teaching a foreign language and related aspects such as: The possibilities of using mobile devices and Internet communication channels in teaching English; Increasing student activity in learning a foreign language; The influence of mobile devices and Internet communication channels on the formation of language competencies of university students; The advantages of digital communication in teaching a foreign language; The pedagogical potential of using mobile devices and Internet communication channels with the activation of foreign language speech activities of university students. The results of the experimental work showed the validity of the use of mobile devices and Internet communication channels in the organization of the educational process.

The article presents the results of research methods in the analysis of time before the event for the purpose of improving the effectiveness of medical prevention in a cohort of patients with oncopathology. We used data from medical and sociological monitoring for 10 years of observation. As a result, parametric models of survival functions are obtained. The authors presented graphs of families of parametric distributions. The developed approach was applied with the support of management decisions for the municipal concept of active longevity in the field of oncopathology.

The survey study conducted in this article is aimed at identifying the communicative tendencies of the institutional environment of entrepreneurship in the sphere of tourism in St. Petersburg. In the process of research: the structure of tourism institutional environment and the process of its formation and factors, that make its identification harder was analyzed; legislative changes in the tourism and recreation sphere were considered; a survey for tourism agencies representatives in St.Petersburg was conducted. Having considered the theoretical approaches to the definition of the institutional environment of tourist and recreational services, authors came to the conclusion that studies do not account for changes in the institutional environment of tourism in the context of new information and communication technologies such as the internet - reservation services, tourist information centers, etc. Communication part of institutional business environment in tourism combines information communication technologies, such as: automatic information system "Unified Federal Register of tour operators", "Safety treats information for tourists", official website of Federal Tourism agency, online booking systems etc. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the rapid development of communication technologies, due to the multiplier effect of the tourism sector, contributes to the growth of: mobile services that simplify access to travel services at all levels; collaborations, including for advertising purposes (bloggers, online events, etc.), number of tourist information centers; the level of quality, speed and safety of tourist services.

Today the academics and practitioners actively search for economic and managerial models that would allow increasing the efficiency of business, both industrial and commercial. In this regard, the experience of the Hanseatic League is of theoretical and practical interest. The article shows that the economic and managerial experience of the Hanseatic League were largely ahead of the time, and a number of approaches and models that have gained popularity recently have been tested and successfully used by the Hansa merchants. In particular, this refers to the network structure of the business, trust as a factor of effective management and the institution of apprenticeship.

This paper discusses the problem of increasing the intellectual level of modern information and telecommunication systems (ITS) through the use of software intelligent agents in order to solve the problems of managing ITS components. A formal description of the ITS intelligent agent is developed, which implements exact and fuzzy rules in the production behavior model. The possibilities of categorical and theoretical presentation of models of intelligent agents are discussed and directions for further improvement of the proposed approach are formulated.

The article reveals the complex features of enterprise development, including large, medium and small business enterprises in Russian regions. It shows the close connection between the socio-economic development level of the regions, their investment attractiveness and the development of the enterprises, as well as the need to take into account the indicators of the development of enterprises in the information systems of the federal and regional levels in the conditions of the digital transformation of the economy. Both the system of indicators and the aggregated index for the analysis of the group of enterprises in the region are proposed. On the basis of cluster analysis, groups of regions are identified by the level of enterprise development, and a description of each group is given. It is shown that the regions with a low level of socio-economic development belong to the groups with the most unfavorable indicators of enterprise development. In such regions, the share of large business enterprises and innovative activity of enterprises is significantly lower, the demographic processes of enterprises are less favorable, the tax share indicators on the profits of enterprises in the total amount of taxes in the region are significantly lower, etc. The definition of the concept "strategic sustainability of the enterprises of the region" is given on the basis of the conducted researches. The group of enterprises in depressed regions cannot be called strategically sustainable. The perspective directions of use of the offered approaches to the analysis of activity of the enterprises for regulation of regional development are defined.

The paper discusses the current trends in the development of digital technologies in the world and their influence on management decisions by business entities. The level of development of digital technologies in Russia and the degree of its digitalization are analyzed. The key factors for the development of digital technologies and the importance of their development for the Russian economy are identified. The paper proposes the option of introducing an automated management information system for controlling the production system of an enterprise under digitalization conditions using function cost analysis. To understand the level of digitalization of an enterprise, the paper proposes to use the "Industry 4.0" maturity index developed by the National Academy of Science and Technology of Germany (Acatech).

The development of information technologies requires improvement of simulation methods and mathematical apparatus. The mathematical apparatus of Petri nets is used for simulation of parallel asynchronous systems and has a broad scope. The modified fuzzy Petri nets expand the modeling capabilities of Petri nets by combining the properties of different extensions. Modified extension can serve for construction of models with a complex structure and logic of operation with the use of fuzzy logic apparatus for control on the basis of the system of production rules.

Russian projects in the sphere of smart urban transformation, as a rule, affect such areas as electric power, transport and mobility, public safety, but less attention is paid to the transformation of the tourist industry. Nevertheless, it is through tourism that destinations promote themselves on the world stage, becoming attractive not only for local residents but also for visiting tourists, who are becoming more and more demanding of comfort and optimization for their travels. The article describes the main directions of the development of cities using smart technologies. Examples of their use in the Russian Federation and in the city of St. Petersburg are given, and promising development goals are described.
