Towards Developing a Secure and Robust Solution for E-Voting using Blockchain 使用区块链开发安全可靠的电子投票解决方案

Blockchain is one of the upcoming technologies in computing. It provides a tamper-proof distributed ledger which ensures integrity and authentication, as well as eliminates the need of a centralized trusted authority. This results in a secure and trusted system observed by the public. Although the blockchain was first applied to cryptocurrencies (which resulted in bitcoin), the features it provides are desirable for several other applications. In this paper, we develop a blockchain-based solution for securely digitizing the voting process. Election process is an important test of democracy and rigging the election may have disastrous consequences. Through our solution, we aim to provide a platform for voters to cast their vote securely online, from their home. The votes will be published in the blockchain, which will be observable by everyone. This would result in a tamper-proof ballot system which would be impossible to manipulate. The anonymity of voters will be maintained. We aim to apply this in the Indian context. We further show how our system meets the requirement of an online voting system, and how it resolves the issues present in current as well as proposed systems for the same.

Design & Simulation of Twelve Pulse Thyristorized Controllers in Series and Parallel mode of Operation 串联和并联十二脉冲晶闸管控制器的设计与仿真

Many industrial applications such as electroplating, electro refining, heating, air conditioning and even nuclear applications demands for high current and high voltage converters. Conventionally M6 converters are being used, faces limitations such as power quality, power factor and harmonics. In this paper an attempt is made to verify the performance of a twelve pulse thyristorized controller for heavy industrial applications over six pulse. The performance of designed twelve pulse high current thyristorized controller is verified with the extensive simulation work on R load. This paper also differentiate between the performance of series connected thyristorized controller and parallel connected thyristorized controller.

State of Art for Power Quality Issues in PV Grid Connected System 光伏并网系统电能质量问题研究现状

In the midst of increased demand of energy and depleting resources, the world is moving towards the renewable sources of energy. Out of all available renewable resources, solar proves to be the best energy source; due to its various advantages over other renewable energy sources. The Photovoltaic (PV) system when connected with the grid proves to be a boon to the modern society. Although various power quality issues arises while integrating large PV system with grid. Poor or Low power quality could lead towards financial falls and disturbance to end users. Also due to low power quality issue, the power system components get overheated and start functioning in unwanted regions; causing great damages. This paper reviews the issues of electrical power quality allied with the Grid associated photovoltaic system.

Design Considerations and Simulation of Superconducting Transformers 超导变压器的设计考虑与仿真

The advent of research in superconductors opened new opportunities for their applications in different domains like electrical machines, power system, etc. Application of superconductors in transformers is described in this paper, with special emphasis on design considerations. Past studies and experimental data have been considered for providing a summarized view of the design challenges and requirements for superconducting transformers. Comparison between superconducting and conventional transformers has been made which proves the economic and technical advantages of superconducting transformers over conventional copper-based transformers. Expressions for various design parameters have been described and a software simulation of magnetic field distribution over a superconducting plate and a solid block has been shown to demonstrate the Meissner effect observed in superconductors.

Smart Recommendation System Based on Product Reviews Using Random Forest 基于随机森林产品评论的智能推荐系统

Social network, e-commerce sites, blogs are new emerging platforms for people to express their opinion. These sites contain huge amount of text which can be used for different purpose like Sentiment Analysis. Sentiment Analysis is a growing field in natural language processing. Sentiment analysis is major focused on company's improvement. But sentiment analysis can be useful in recommendation system also. Based on various performance measures, this paper compares the results of machine learning algorithms like Multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm, Logistic Regression, SVM Classifier, Decision Tree and Random Forest. These algorithms are used for sentiment analysis of reviews and in turn for product recommendation. In proposed system, Random Forest shows outstanding performance. To create suitable recommendations using the analysis of emotions, there is a need to use polarity obtained through the reviews.

In the current scenario fluid storage tanks are commonly used to store chemical, petroleum products, high pressure and temperature gases etc. This paper is an attempt to get the time period for impulsive and convective modes along with various base isolation techniques to protect above ground tanks against earthquake.

System Development for Simultaneous Measurement and Control of pH and Moisture of Soil 土壤pH和水分同步测控系统的开发

Proper growth of a crop is insured if the pH level and moisture of soil is maintained to a certain value. Further, this value depends upon the type of crop under consideration. This balance of pH and moisture of soil can lead to higher productivity rates. This work presents development of simple system which measures pH and moisture value of soil. This data acquired is further used to maintain the desired level through use of actuation system. Typical of actuation system used to monitor the supply of Sulphur etc. and water for maintaining pH and moisture level in soil. The desired level of pH and moisture in soil will be set as per the need for the crop to be cultivated from soil under consideration. The case presented in this paper is for cultivating tomato crop in soil. This particular crop need pH=6.0 to 6.8 and moisture required 4-7mm/hr. The control of these two parameters is expected to give better yield of crops. For this the microcontroller based embedded system is devised. The sensors are connected to a microcontroller in which the program of control actions according to the plant/crop is burned. This microcontroller then controls the flow control valve to adjust the required amount of flow of the chemicals and water. Thus the proposed system lays the news avenue for its use in agriculture and similar kinds of application.

Simulation of Single Phase to Single Phase Step Down Cycloconverter for Industrial Application 工业用单相到单相降压环变换器的仿真

The variable frequency power electronic system design is having a great importance in various types of industrial applications. To fulfill those requirements of variable frequency, cycloconverters are widely used. Cycloconverter is a power electronics device which converts input power at one frequency into output power at different frequency without incorporating any sort of intermediate DC link. Modeling and circuit simulation are powerful problem solving techniques especially for designing and analyzing a complex systems. In this paper, circuit simulation of 1 $phi$ to 1 $phi$ step down cycloconverter feeding purely resistive and resistive-inductive loads have been performed by using thyristors with an anti-parallel diodes. The presented cycloconverter will be working for output frequency range from 50 Hz to 10 Hz. The simulated results have been presented and validated with theoretical values.

To fulfill those requirements of variable frequency, cycloconverters are widely used. Cycloconverter is a power electronics device which converts input power at one frequency into output power at different frequency without incorporating any sort of intermediate DC link. Modeling and circuit simulation are powerful problem solving techniques especially for designing and analyzing a complex systems. In this paper, circuit simulation of 1 $phi$ to 1 $phi$ step down cycloconverter feeding purely resistive and resistive-inductive loads have been performed by using thyristors with an anti-parallel diodes. The presented cycloconverter will be working for output frequency range from 50 Hz to 10 Hz. Top-Down Approach in Design and Simulation of Grid Integrated Solar Rooftop PV System 自顶向下方法在并网太阳能屋顶光伏系统设计与仿真中的应用

There is a substantial development in the field of renewable energy and distributed power generation. The solar PV system provides with promising results and proves to be sustainable means of energy generation. In this paper the details of design and simulation of a Grid Tied Photo Voltaic system is provided for RRR labs, a commercial lab in Navi Mumbai. The analysis is done based on the top-down approach and the simulation for the proposed system is done using PVsyst software. Simulation results provide the performance parameters, energy generation and operational characteristics for the proposed system. The economic analysis in terms of payback period and environmental analysis in terms of greenhouse gas emission reduction showcases the practical viability of the proposed system along with sustainable development.

Real Time Control of Induction Motor Drives 感应电机驱动的实时控制

Hardware Implementation for a laboratory prototype model of the 3 ph VSI based Induction Motor Drives(IMD) along with control circuit is presented in this paper. The ANFIS controller of IMD using dSPACE, MATLAB/SIMULINK for design and developing PI and different AI controllers including ANFIS are utilized & validated by the prototype. Simulation performance of IMD in both the modes is on SVPWM. The results of simulation and hardware performance is compared for validation.
本文介绍了一种基于3 ph VSI的感应电机驱动(IMD)实验室样机的硬件实现及其控制电路。利用dSPACE、MATLAB/SIMULINK设计开发了IMD的ANFIS控制器,并通过样机验证了包括ANFIS在内的各种AI控制器。两种模式下IMD的仿真性能均在SVPWM上。仿真结果与硬件性能进行了对比验证。
