Teachers’ Beliefs : Kompetensi Emosional dan Sosialisasi Emosi pada Anak Usia Dini 教师的信念:幼儿期的情感能力和情感社会化

Teachers' beliefs about emotions can provide an overview of how teachers support the development of emotional competence in early childhood positively. This study aimed to investigate preschool teachers’ beliefs about emotional competence and emotion socialization. A sample of 194 preschool teachers from 22 Kindergartens completed the Teachers' Emotion Beliefs Scale (TEBS) and open questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and thematic analysis. The research results showed that 67% of teachers had developmentally appropriate beliefs, while 33% of teachers had beliefs that were not appropriate to children's emotional development. The developmentally appropriate belief explains the importance of the teacher's role in facilitating children's emotional competence. On the other hand, unappropriateness is explained by teachers' beliefs regarding children's expressions of negative emotions (such as sadness and anger), which according to teachers, young children do not need to express these emotions. Furthermore, the results of the open-ended questionnaire showed several teacher limitations regarding conceptual understanding of children's emotional competence, as well as in using appropriate strategies for emotional socialization (especially in helping children manage negative emotions). The way teachers socialize emotions is based on their beliefs regarding children's emotional competence.

Evaluasi Efektivitas Mindfulness Therapy terhadap Smoking Cessation: Studi Meta-Analysis 正念疗法对戒烟效果的评估:元分析研究

The prevalence of smoking which continues to increase into a problem that to this day has not found a concrete solution certainly requires various tactical and dynamic measures, one of which is through therapeutic mindfulness. This research aims to test the effectiveness of mindfulness therapy against smoking cessation in various groups such as adult men, adolescents, and women. This study used a meta-analysis method that used 12 experimental journals on mindfulness therapy and smoking cessation on an international scale published in English, with a total of 1,017 project participants consisting of 498 experimental subjects and 519 control subjects. Result analysis showed an I2 number of 95.29% which was categorized as random effects due to the heterogeneity of the respondent population in the research that became the references. Hedges analysis g is -0.17 which means mindfulness therapy has little effect on the effectiveness of smoking cessation. Results of the analysis also obtained a signification score of egger's regression at 0.895 which is greater than 0.001 (0.001 < 0.895) which concluded no indication of publication bias. The results of this study concluded that mindfulness therapy had a small effect on smoking cessation. This finding is based on smoking cessation status which is more nicotine addiction and not something that can be assessed cognitively, so additional treatment is needed to make the impact significant. Kecemasan kematian adalah keadaan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan yang dialami seseorang saat memikirkan tentang kematian. Kecemasan dapat berpengaruh buruk pada kesehatan mental, terutama pada usia dewasa madya. Tahapan usia ini lebih sering mengalami kecemasan kematian. Salah satu cara efektif yang dapat dilakukan dalam menghadapi kecemasan kematian adalah dengan memiliki mindfulness. Konsep mindfulness dapat membantu dewasa madya untuk tetap fokus mengerjakan dan memaknai setiap kegiatan ataupun keadaan yang dijalaninya tanpa memikirkan sesuatu yang abstrak seperti kematian. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara mindfulness dengan kecemasan akan kematian pada dewasa madya. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 275 individu dewasa yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan Mindful Atttention Awareness Scale (MAAS) dan Death Anxiety Scale-Extended (DAS-Extended). Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan Spearman-Brown Formula menunjukkan hubungan negatif antara mindfulness dengan kecemasan akan kematian pada dewasa madya. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi keadaan mindfulness yang dimiliki individu dewasa madya, maka semakin rendah kecemasan akan kematiannya, begitupun sebaliknya. Oleh karena itu, mindfulness berkaitan dengan penurunan kecemasan akan kematian pada dewasa madya. Kata kunci: Mindfulness, Kecemasan Kematian, Dewasa Madya

Apa yang Menjadikan Remaja Indonesia Bangga Terhadap Bangsanya?

Kebanggaan seseorang terhadap bangsanya merupakan pilar utama penopang keberadaan dan keberlangsungan negara tersebut. Anak-anak muda Indonesia yang tumbuh di era demokrasi digital cenderung mengembangkan identitas nasional dan sumber kebanggaan nasional yang khas dibanding generasi sebelumnya. Sayangnya, sejauh ini, berbagai hal yang menjadi sumber rasa bangga pemuda Indonesia terhadap bangsanya tersebut masih jarang dieksplorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap berbagai hal yang menjadi sumber kebanggaan nasional remaja di Indonesia. Sekitar 385 responden (usia 18 – 21 tahun) yang terdiri dari 313 perempuan dan 72 laki-laki terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner terbuka berisi satu pertanyaan, “Apa yang membuat Anda merasa bangga sebagai warga negara Indonesia?”. Kuesioner tersebut disebarkan secara daring di berbagai media sosial. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa remaja Indonesia bangga terhadap bangsanya karena keberagaman budaya, suku bangsa, bahasa, agama dan kuliner di Indonesia, sumber daya alamnya yang kaya dan indah, serta iklim Indonesia yang baik. Selain itu, remaja Indonesia juga bangga dengan kualitas dan karakter orang Indonesia, serta sejarah dan perjuangan pahlawan. Berbagai prestasi yang dicapai oleh bangsa Indonesia juga menjadi sumber kebanggaan lain remaja Indonesia. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa sumber kebanggaan nasional remaja Indonesia lebih pada hal-hal yang sifatnya terberi daripada sesuatu yang dicapai bangsa Indonesia. Does the Stroop Task Induce Ego Depletion Effect? Brief Experimental Study Amoing Indonesian Students Stroop任务是否诱发自我耗竭效应?印度尼西亚学生的简短实验研究

While there are pervasive canonical examples of the Stroop task effectiveness to induce the ego depletion effect, there were much less is known about how this paradigm used in the Indonesian samples. Our current study aims to investigate whether the Indonesian version of Stroop task would generate ego depletion effect. Seventy-five university students between the ages of 18 and 21 were randomly assigned into three groups, two depletion and one control conditions. The first and second groups respectively received incongruent and congruent Stroop stimulus through Psytoolkit online experimental psychology platform, and the third group received no stimulus. We administered the online Corsi block test to participants in the experimental group and compared their scores with the control group to determine whether or not ego depletion effect, induced by the Stroop task, had occurred. The findings of this online experimental study demonstrate that there were no significant differences (p > .001) in participants' spatial span scores across three groups. The findings of this study suggest that performing the Stroop task to elicit the ego depletion effect should be carried out with caution. Its implication and recommendation for future research are discussed in the paper.

Perkembangan signifikan pada aspek fisik, kognitif, sosial dan emosional, membuat remaja SMP memiliki tantangan dalam pengelolaan marah. Intensitas kemarahan yang terlalu kuat maupun pengungkapan yang kurang sesuai seperti pasif maupun agresif, dapat berdampak negatif pada kesehatan fisik, mental maupun sosial remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi experimental dan wawancara kualitatif, bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas intervensi kelompok daring berbasis CBT dalam menurunkan kemarahan dan meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan marah pada empat remaja siswa SMP. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berusia antara 12-15 tahun (M=14) yang melaporkan tingkat kemarahan tinggi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terjadi penurunan kecenderungan marah, peningkatan pengelolaan marah, sementara tidak terdapat penurunan signifikan pada kecenderungan memendam marah partisipan saat post test dan follow up. Secara kualitatif, remaja merasa lebih mampu mengelola marahnya. Dengan demikian, intervensi dengan pendekatan CBT dapat membantu remaja SMP menurunkan tingkat kemarahan, meningkatkan pengelolaan marah, meskipun tidak menurunkan kecenderungan memendam kemarahan.

Adaptasi Kenormalan Baru Ditinjau dari Ketahanan Keluarga dan Perilaku Disiplin Ibu Rumah Tangga di Yogyakarta 日惹家庭适应能力和家庭纪律行为的新增环境

The COVID-19 pandemic made much influence to human being life, having a systemic impact, life regulation, and stressing situation in Indonesia families. They got depressed and new normality adaptability which determines the functioning and well-being of the family in the future. This study aims examine the adaptation of new normality in terms of family resilience and self-disciplined behaviour. This study used a quantitative approach with a random sampling technique of 253 housewives in Yogyakarta. Data were collected using Google Form (3 scales of adaptation, resilience and seld-descipline). The results the regresion analysis showed that there was a slight contribution among family resilience and self-disciplined behaviour to the adaptation to new normality of housewife subjects (F count> F table, namely 117.657> 10.597 and Sig F < 5% (0.000 < 0.05). ThIn addition, In addition, the Pearson corellation of the 2 minor hypothesis of this study proved r value .651 between adaptation variable to Self-dicipline and another one with r value .641 between adaptation and family resilience. The effective contribution of the two variables to adaptability is 48.5%, while the remaining 51.5% is influenced by other variables. These results support the researcher's assumption that mother's resilience and self-disciplined behavior are able to adapt to the demands of the new-normality situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterkaitan iklim panti asuhan, self concept dengan motivasi melanjutkan studi remaja panti asuhan �X� ke Universitas. Responden penelitian berjumlah 81 orang dipilih menggunakan cluster random sampling. Skala yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data antara lain Skala Motivasi Melanjutkan Studi ke Universitas (a=0,930), Skala Iklim Panti Asuhan (a = 0.862), dan Skala Self Concept (a=0,870). Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan terdapat keterkaitan signifikan yang kuat antara iklim panti asuhan dan self concept dengan motivasi melanjutkan studi remaja panti asuhan �X� ke Universitas (Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 53.151 > 3,11; p<0.05; R=). Selain itu, uji korelasi pearson hipotesis kedua dan ketiga penelitian ini terbukti menunjukkan keterkaitan signifikan yang cukup kuat antara iklim panti asuhan dengan motivasi melanjutkan studi remaja panti asuhan �X� ke Universitas (p<0,05;r=0,423) dan terdapat keterkaitan signifikan yang kuat self concept dengan motivasi melanjutkan studi remaja panti asuhan �X� ke Universitas (p<0,05; r=0,756). Sumbangan efektif iklim panti asuhan dan self concept terhadap motivasi melanjutkan studi remaja panti asuhan �X� ke Universitas sebesar 57,7%.
