An experience from testing an ambient intelligence, devices for household — case study 从测试环境智能,设备为家庭案例研究的经验

Paper presents a practical experience from testing intelligent devices for household aimed for mainstream usage in practical life. They are developed with intelligent functions that make them accessible and usable also for people with weakened sensor and physical abilities, including people with impairments and elderly people. Testing process was conducted in Padeborn, Germany, in C-lab in cooperation with Siemens company. The paper consists of particular findings from testing household devices with intelligent features made by person with visual impairment. The results of the testing concluded to a case study summarizing experience of the potential end-user.

Medical thermography application in neuro-vascular deseases diagnostics 医学热成像在神经血管疾病诊断中的应用

The measurement of the surface temperatures by infrared thermography is not frequently used in medicine despite of its safety, painlessness and invasiveness, good reproducibility and low running costs. Promising results have been achieved in nerve entrapment syndromes or neuropathies, although thermography has never represented as a real alternative to the electromyography. Here an attempt is described to improve the diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome by thermography using a computer-based system with special software to analyse obtained thermograms.

Using architectural knowledge in process of software maintenance 在软件维护过程中运用架构知识

Software maintenance presents nowadays one of the most critical phases of software system life cycle. Constant changes of system's requirements or changes related to occurrences of system defects caused that thorough system understanding in order of efficient realization of system's modifications becomes now an inevitable part of maintenance process. In this paper, we emphasize the importance of system's comprehension in the context of an early detection of system's defects by offering the description of its life cycle and classification, but mainly by introducing the principles of architectural knowledge concept. We also propose a new approach of dealing with one of the currently most serious obstacles inhibiting this concept from its further use - the problem of architectural knowledge automatic acquisition.

The 21st century cyberspace 21世纪的网络空间

The author discusses the development of new Information Communications Technologies (ICT) in the areas of e-Learning, e-Health, e-Government, e-Journalism, etc. The current Web 2.0 combined with the 3D Telepresence, Future Internet, Semantic Web Technologies provide support to creation of social networks, content retrieval and analysis, which creates foundation for the future fully automated cyberspace. Current dynamic Internet developments and continuous demand for the ubiquitous connectivity combined with the next generation of networks contributes towards creation the future cyberspace infrastructures worldwide. Implementation of the cyberspace in the government and corporate infrastructures, contributes towards creation of new paradigm in the decision making processes. Decisions that are currently governed by the human intelligence knowledge and intuition may be influenced by the cyber-data and processes. Future cyberspace will ultimately impact the decision making processes by government, corporate, industrial and academic institutions worldwide. In conclusion the author promotes discussion on the social and ethical impact of the future cyberspace and ICT technologies in the context of governance vs. privacy.

In Germany in all Region the Educational System is different and the computer science Education is different too. Computer science is obligatory at the high school in Bavaria and in Saxony, in the other Regions just selectable. In spite of the big difference between various regions, the Lego-Mindstorm is widely used at all educational level. The students are very motivated, because the movement of the Robot shows, how they succeeded in writing a good program. The Lego-Minstorms kit can be used from the 5th grade to the University level.

Today Computer graphics belongs to intensive developing areas of informatics. For realization calculations imaging of 3D objects in computer graphics are needs high efficient computers, which enable user to work with graphic information. One option to achieve needed power for photorealistic imaging is to use distributed systems. By planning system is considered static assigning and sharing of scene based on areas. This project will make imaging more effective from time aspect in distributed systems, because nod utilization will be balanced.

This article deals with a miniature infrared and ultrasonic sensors to avoid collisions with obstacles of mobile devices. At the beginning of the work I focused on the infrared sensor.
