Blended Learning Design As an Alternative Solution for Limited Face To Face Learning 混合式学习设计作为有限面对面学习的替代解决方案

After the Covid-19 emergency period lasted for 1.5 years, there are now Joint Decrees of the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Home Affairs of Indonesia which allow limited face-to-face learning in schools . The implementation rules limit the number of students in the class to only 50% and the duration of study in class is a maximum of 3 hours. The research aims to develop an effective blended learning design as an alternative solution for face-to-face learning in the classroom, especially in science and biology. Blended learning can be applied in 2 strategies, namely flipped classroom and hybrid learning. This research design is reffer to model from Borg & Gall that are including: research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary from product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision, and dissemination and implementation. The product of this research includes a set of blended learning plan, digital learning material, digital student worksheet, and digital evaluation have good feasibilities and can be implemented in science and biology learning the junior high and senior high school. Therefore, Blended learning can be a solution to overcome limited face-to-face learning in the classroom after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Method on Students’ Critical Thinking Ability in Fifth Grade Science Learning in Elementary Schools 基于问题的学习方法对小学五年级科学学习学生批判性思维能力的影响

This research was conducted in elementary schools to determine the effect of the PBL method on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students using the PBL method in science subjects. In this study with a population consisting of 59 fifth grade elementary school students, the sample in this study was divided into 2 classes. A few of them; First, the experimental class. Second, the control class. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique. The design of this study used a posttest only design. In this study, the data collection process used 10 essay questions, the validity test used the product moment formula as many as 10 essay questions with the results of 8 valid questions and 2 drop questions. To test the reliability using Cronbach’s alpha. Data analysis using t-test proves that the value of t_count is greater than t_table 3,645 > 2,002, this research can be concluded that “there is the thinking ability of fifth grade elementary school students in science subjects by applying the Problem-based method (PBL) method”.
本研究以小学为研究对象,探讨PBL教学法对五年级小学生在科学科目中运用PBL教学法培养批判性思维能力的影响。本研究以59名小学五年级学生为研究对象,样本分为2个班级。有几个;首先是实验课。第二,控制类。所用的抽样技术是一种非概率抽样技术。本研究采用单纯后测设计。在本研究中,数据收集过程中使用了10个短文题,效度检验使用了积矩公式多达10个短文题,结果为8个有效题和2个drop题。用Cronbach’s alpha检验信度。使用t检验的数据分析证明t_count的值大于t_table 3,645 > 2,002,本研究可以得出“应用基于问题的方法(Problem-based method, PBL)方法,存在小学五年级学生在科学科目上的思维能力”的结论。

The Implementation of Project-Based Learning Model with Instagram Media towards Students’ Critical Thiking and Creativity 基于项目的学习模式在Instagram媒体上对学生批判性思维和创造力的培养

The 21st- century learning is oriented on 21st-century competencies, such as critical, creative, communicative, and collaborative thinking skills. These are important to be instilled and can develop the learners’ skills. One of them is to develop creativity and motivation for the learners. A project-based learning model with Instagram is a suggested learning model to allow learners to develop their skills. This research aims to analyze the Pjbl with Instagram as the media toward the learners’ creativity about invertebrate as the material. The applied method was Quasy Experimental research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of the tenth graders of the Science and Mathematics class of Public Senior High School 1 Ungaran, in the academic year 2020/2021. The findings showed that the critical thinking skills obtained an average score of 88.7. The result was higher than the minimum mastery standard, ≥ 75. Then, a t-test was done. The results showed that the learner's creativity was 90.1% for the experimental group. Both of them obtained “excellent criterion”. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the Pjbl with Instagram as the media could improve the critical and creative thinking skills of the learners.

Development of Learning Tools Using Discovery Learning Model Equipped with Science Marble Games to Improve Student's Critical Thinking Skills 利用科学弹珠游戏的发现学习模式开发学习工具,提高学生的批判性思维能力

This study aims to determine the characteristics and feasibility of the discovery learning model assisted by marble science games which was developed to improve students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is a research and development study with the ADDIE research model. The research subjects were students of class VIII SMP Kesatrian 1 Semarang. The research data were obtained from the feasibility test of the device developed by the experts as well as a questionnaire about the use of marble games as media science. The results of the due diligence analysis by the experts were stated to be very suitable for use with an average percentage of 83.88%. Questionnaire students' responses regarding the use of marble games science media were stated to be suitable for use with a percentage of 79.67%. Based on this it can be concluded that the development of discovery learning models assisted by science marble games is very feasible to be used to improve students' critical thinking skills.
本研究旨在确定以弹珠科学游戏为辅助的发现学习模式的特点和可行性,以提高学生的批判性思维能力。这类研究是采用ADDIE研究模式的研发研究。研究对象为三宝垄中学八班学生。研究数据来源于专家开发的设备的可行性测试以及关于弹珠游戏作为媒介科学使用的问卷调查。专家的尽职调查分析结果被认为非常适合使用,平均百分比为83.88%。问卷学生对弹珠游戏科学媒体使用的回答表示适合使用的比例为79.67%。基于此,我们可以得出结论,在科学弹珠游戏的辅助下开发发现学习模式对于提高学生的批判性思维能力是非常可行的。

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the model make a match assisted by question answer card on the excretion system on students' motivation and cognitive learning outcomes. The design of this study is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research are students of class VIII semester 2, SMP N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. The samples to be used are class VIII A (experimental class) and VIII B (control class). Sampling technique with cluster random sampling. Analysis of the data used by the n-gain test and t test. This study has the results that there is an influence of make a match model assisted by the question answer card on the motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students. The effect can be seen from the results of an increase test using N-Gain, the results obtained from the data that there is an increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study "The effect of the model make a match assisted by question answer card on the excretion system material on motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students" that have been done can be concluded on the model of a make a match assisted question answer card affect the cognitive learning outcomes of students with a value of t_count 4, 4945> t_table 1.9990 and the model of a make a match assisted by question answer card affect the motivation of students' learning with a value of of t_count 3.44879> t_table 1.9989.

The Development of Moodle-Based Self Assessment to Measure Students’ Metacognition Ability 基于模型的学生元认知能力自评的开发

This study aims to test the feasibility and analyze the characteristics of the instrument, as well as to measure the metacognition ability profile of each student and generally using a moodle-based self-assessment instrument. The research model used is ADDIE. The research data were obtained through expert validation, student responses, student answers to metacognition ability test questions, and the MCA-I questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the descriptive percentage technique. The results showed that the moodle-based self-assessment instrument was declared very feasible to measure students' metacognition abilities with a percentage of 92.14%. The self-assessment developed has general and specific characteristics. The general characteristics are; 1) valid; 2) reliable; 3) have a proportional level of difficulty; 4) has a good discrimination index, while the specific characteristics are: 1) based on moodle; 2) able to measure students' metacognition abilities by assessing themselves; 3) able to encourage students to use knowledge and metacognition strategies; 4) questions are contextual, clear, concise, and firm; 5) accompanied by pictures, graphs, and tables that make it easier for students; 6) the media is creative, interesting, and can motivate students; 7) objective; 8) economical and flexible; 9) practical; and 10) communicative. Based on the question test of metacognition ability, the profile of students' metacognition abilities, among others: 3 students are at level 1 with a percentage of 10.71%, 1 student is at level 2 with a percentage of 3.57%, and 8 students each at the ability level metacognition 3, 4, and 5 with a percentage of 28.57%. Based on the MCA-I Questionnaire, it was found that students generally had a well-developed metacognition profile with a percentage of 81.81%. The conclusion of this research is that self-assessment development products are found to be valid and reliable and able to measure students' metacognition ability profiles well.

Development of Android Mobile Learning Media Integrated Islamic Content on Human Excretion System Material 基于人体排泄系统材料整合伊斯兰内容的Android移动学习媒体的开发

This study aimed to produce android mobile learning media integrated with Islamic content in the Human Excretion System material that is feasible, valid and practical for students class VIII MTs students. The product is packaged in an Application Package File (.apk) format and developed using the ADDIE Research and Development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) method. The application contains Objectives, Materials, Simulations, and Evaluations. Apps are rated by materials experts, media experts, and teachers. In addition, the product has gone through three stages of evaluation for students in class VIII junior high school students involving three students in a one-to-one trial, nine students in a small-scale trial, and 35 students in a field trial. The validity of the media shows that at 3.27, it can be classified as "very good", 3.42 for practicality results and categorized as "very good", and 3.24 for student responses and classified as "good".

Development of PBL-Based Module to Facilitate Students’ Science Literacy and Independence Skills 基于pbl的模块开发促进学生科学素养和独立技能的培养

The purpose of this study is to develop a respiratory system module, test its feasibility and practicality, and analyze the module potential to train students' scientific literacy skills and independence. The feasibility test is carried out through expert-judgment by experts and the module's readability test. The module practicality is measured by the responses of students and biology teachers. The potential of the module in practicing scientific literacy and student independence was obtained from the results of posttest and observations. The results showed that the feasibility level of the module according to material and media experts was 71,67% and 78,12% (feasible). The readability of the module according to students is 79% (feasible). The level of practicality of the module according to students and teachers are 82,27% and 96,15% (very practical). The results of the posttest and observation showed that the scientific literacy level of the experimental class reached 61.46% and for the control class was only 52,53%. The average independence of the experimental and control class are 61,84% and 53,14%. Conclusion: The respiratory system material module is feasible and practical to be applied in learning, and has the potential to train students' scientific literacy skills and independence.

Study of the Applicability Level of Merge Cube Augmented Reality Media on Junior Hight School Science Teachers 合并立方体增强现实媒体在初中科学教师中的应用水平研究

Science learning media based on Merge Cube Augmented Reality (AR) has been developed. This research aims to determine the level of applicability of science learning media based on Merge Cube AR to users, especially junior high school science teachers. The research method was carried out through a descriptive survey after testing the use of science learning media based on Merge Cube Augmented Reality. The respondents of this research were 41 teachers from 13 different junior hight schools. Based on the analysis data showed that respondents were very confident of being able to apply Merge Cube AR media in science learning and the percentage of applicability level in this description reach 87.8%, those indicate that the media is in very good criteria. Teachers are very confident that they can achieve learning goals by implementing Merge Cube AR learning media. The percentage of applicability level in this description reach 82.9%, those indicate that the media is in very good criteria. The results of the analysis also show that teachers are strongly believe that the Merge Cube AR media helps them in a more effective way to deliver science learning activity. The percentage of applicability level in this description reach 90.3%, those also indicate that the media is in very good criteria. The average percentage of applicability level reach 87.0 %, it is indicated that the applicability level of science learning media based on merge cube ar in the very good criteria. It can be concluded that science learning media based on Merge Cube AR has a very good level of applicability and can be used in science learning.

Testing on A Diagnostic Test-based Science Metacognition Assessment Tool using Moodle 基于诊断测试的科学元认知评估工具的Moodle测试

Metacognition is one of the important indicators of 21st century skills as part of ways of thinking. Metacognition ability is used by students to see how cognitive activities such as remembering, learning, and problem solving can be carried out effectively. However, in fact not many assessment tools have been developed to measure metacognitive ability. On the other hand, Moodle has good potential to be used as a platform for creating test instruments. The purpose of this study was to test a diagnostic test-based science metacognition evaluation tool that had been developed with Moodle. The research method used is quantitative by testing the validity, reliability, discriminating power, and level of difficulty on the items of the evaluation tool. The results showed that the science metacognition evaluation tool that had been developed had the characteristics of being valid according to experts, good reliability of 0.73, having a proportional difficulty index; and has good discrimination index. Based on the test results, it was concluded that the science metacognition evaluation tool had good characteristics in all aspects tested so that it was feasible to use it to measure students’ science metacognition abilities.
