The importance of procalcitonin Objective: Our aim in this study is to determine how procalcitonin levels are affected in RT-PCR positive COVID-19 pneumonia. To investigate the value of this parameter in terms of biochemical parameters in RT-PCR (Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction) positive patients and to propose new opinions on the subject. Method: One hundred COVID-19 patients admitted to the hospital with positive RT-PCR test and above the age of 18 were included in our study. The data of the patients were collected retrospectively from the hospital system. RT-PCR positive patients were divided into two groups as thoracic CT (computed tomography) positive and CT negative, and procalcitonin values were investigated between these two groups. The obtained results were evaluated in the SPSS 25 program. Results: Of the 100 patients with positive RT-PCR tests, 39 patients were CT negative and 61 patients were CT positive. Although the procalcitonin levels measured in the CT positive patient group were higher than the CT negative group, it was not statistically significant (0.113 ± 0.154 ng / mL, 0.064 ± 0.058 ng / mL, p = 0.510). Conclusion: Our results show that the procalcitonin level cannot distinguish the presence of COVID-19 pneumonia in RT-PCR positive patients. High procalcitonin levels may predict that the disease becomes more complicated.
目的:本研究的目的是确定RT-PCR阳性的COVID-19肺炎中降钙素原水平的影响。探讨该参数在RT-PCR (Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction，实时聚合酶链反应)阳性患者的生化参数中的价值，并提出新的观点。方法:选取我院收治的年龄在18岁以上、RT-PCR检测阳性的新冠肺炎患者100例。患者资料回顾性收集自医院系统。将RT-PCR阳性患者分为胸部CT(计算机断层扫描)阳性和CT阴性两组，测定两组患者降钙素原值。所得结果用SPSS 25软件进行评价。结果:100例RT-PCR阳性患者中，CT阴性39例，CT阳性61例。CT阳性患者组降钙素原水平虽高于CT阴性患者组，但差异无统计学意义(0.113±0.154 ng / mL, 0.064±0.058 ng / mL, p = 0.510)。结论:我们的结果表明降钙素原水平不能区分RT-PCR阳性患者是否存在COVID-19肺炎。高降钙素原水平可能预示着疾病变得更加复杂。

Lipom, matür adipoz dokudan gelişen ve yumuşak dokuda sık gözlenen benign mezenkimal bir tümördür. Kolon yerleşimi nadir olup insidansı %0,2-4 olarak bildirilmektedir. Çoğunlukla 5.-6. dekatta, kadın hastalarda görülür. En sık çekum ve çıkan kolon yerleşimlidir. Sıklıkla soliter, küçük ve asemptomatik olup insidental olarak saptanır. Ancak tümör boyutuna ve yerleşim yerine bağlı olarak karın ağrısı, kanama, invajinasyon bulguları, obstrüksiyon bulguları göstererek klinik ve radyolojik olarak maligniteyi taklit edebilir. Bu nedenle preoperatif dönemde tanınması zordur. Genellikle 2 cm’den büyük olan lipomlar semptomatiktir. Histopatolojik olarak sıklıkla submukoza yerleşimli, mukozadan kapsülle ayrılan, matür adipoz dokudan oluşan, iyi sınırlı tümöral lezyon izlenir. Kesin tanı ancak histopatolojik incelemeyle konulabilir. Lezyonun cerrahi olarak çıkarılması hem tedavi için hem de malignensi tanısını dışlamak için gereklidir. Karın ağrısı şikâyeti ile acil servise başvuran, 52 yaşındaki kadın hastada klinik olarak maligniteyi taklit eden kolon lipomu olgusu sunuldu.
