Live migration based on cloud computing to increase load balancing 基于云计算的实时迁移,提高负载平衡

Nowadays, the availability of Internet services is very important. One of these internet services is information system service. When the information system can not be accessed, the user cannot access the information. Therefore, the server used for that application should remain online nonstop. However, in reality the services failure often happens due to server error or repairing process. One of the solution is cloud computing so that the running application can be moved to another server known as migration. Due to regular migration process takes time to move the data, so the services cannot be access. It is necessary to migrate directly to the destination server without moving the data. One way to implement that live migration is replicating the existing data on the origin server to the destination server at any time. Direct migration can be done by replicating data from the origin server to the destination server every time. In this paper we analyze performance of the live migration on cloud computing to improve the availability of information systems. The goal is for users to access information services continuously.

Design of complex data acquisition system for kinetics, kinematics, and kinesiological gait analysis 设计用于动力学、运动学和运动学步态分析的复杂数据采集系统

Gait is one of biometrie information and defined as pattern movement of lower limb. Clinical gait analysis is important for treatment, diagnosis, and reference for therapy. This paper presents kinematics, kinetics analysis, and kinesiological of muscle signal using complex data acquisitions from normal subject. Gait data were taken using 4 instruments, Optotrak certus 3020, Vernier Force Plate, 8 channels self-design LE EMG, and Wearable sensor that consist of accelerometers, gyroscopes, and Force Sensitive Resistor (FSRs). The results of FSR (kinetics), wearable sensors (kinematics), LE-EMG (kinesiology), Optotrak Certus 3020 (kinematics) were integrated together so different results can be seen from the data. The data of LE hardware and LE software from muscle signal were compared. The analysis result of Force Plate was obtaining kinetics analysis, Fmax, Fmin, FTO, and FHO. This study was able to take gait data using 4 instruments simultaneously and kinetics, kinematics, and kinesiological gait analysis was succeed to made. This study presented gait data from 5 subjects. Further, data can be reproduced to get more normal and abnormal gait data and used for rehabilitation purpose.

Establishment of Indonesian viseme sequences using hidden Markov model based on affection 基于情感的隐马尔可夫模型建立印度尼西亚viseme序列

Every language has different characteristics, one of which is how to pronounce the language. Pronunciation accompanied by emotional expression are increasingly making different characteristics. This research proposes the establishment of natural Indonesian viseme order influenced by the expression of emotion. This system converts the text input of an Indonesian sentence into a sequence Indonesian viseme to be influenced by the affection. Animation of mouth shape and lip movements are made to complement the visualization of natural speech, which is resulted from the establishment Indonesian viseme model. The method used in the natural Indonesian viseme sequence, is using statistical approach through Viterbi algorithm Hidden Markov Model.

Real-time video quality assessment based on fuzzy inference system for analog television tracking antenna system 基于模糊推理系统的模拟电视跟踪天线实时视频质量评估

Real-Time VQA (Video Quality Assessment) is very important for the tracking antenna system on an analog television in the decision making related to the direction of the antenna. This paper proposes VQA system based on FIS (Fuzzy Inference System) that works in real-time to process information from analog signals on AV-Out television. The VQA system can be said to work well if the output results show that the perception of the system is almost close to the perception of the user in assessing the video clarity level. In this research, simulation is performed using MATLAB Toolbox and then implemented by using AVR AT Mega 32 A microcontroller. Result of trial shows that there is no significant difference between simulation and implementation with percentage difference of only 1.74%. Other trial results prove that the perception of VQA system that has been built almost approach the user's perception in assessing the video clarity level. This is evident from the percentage of accuracy on VQA system that reaches 79% to 95%.

Development of hand gesture recognition sensor based on accelerometer and gyroscope for controlling arm of underwater remotely operated robot

Hand Gesture Recognition sensor based on accelerometer and gyroscope is a sensor for capturing the positions of operator hand while controlling underwater remotely operated vehicle equipped with an arm. The proposed system has an advantage in its convenience by means of no training or exercise needed for operator before using it. The key issue here is how beginner operator could use easily the underwater remotely operated robot arm without any specific training. The conventional one uses a joystick for controlling the underwater system and it is inconvenience for beginner user as well as less precision. The proposed system consists of two main part: (1) ground station and (2) underwater remotely operated robot arm. This paper proposes the development of hand gesture recognition sensor used by operator at the ground station for controlling robot arm at the underwater robot. The proposed sensor uses accelerometers and gyroscopes installed in elbow, forearm, and wrist. These devices measure 3D position of each joints for constructing 3D position of hand. We design sensor's casing for its convenience of use by using CAD software. Each sensor is connected by Arduino Nano microcontroller having compact circuit and embedded it into sensor's casing. The sensors are connected to a microcontroller acting as master connected to microcontroller slave (sensor part). These sensors value are converted to 3D position by using forward kinematic. The forward kinematic values are sent to the underwater robot by using a wire utilizing Pulse Position Signal. Then, it converted again to servo's movement by using inverse kinematic. The result is operator able to control the underwater remotely robot arm by utilizing hand gesture directly. The last, operator could control the robot gripper based on flex sensor installed in operator's fingers. The accuracy of the sensor has been tested under laboratory condition, it has 98% of accuracy.

Performance analysis of vertical axis wind turbine with variable swept area 变掠面积垂直轴风力机性能分析

This paper presents optimum power output from vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT's) by changing variable swept area. We used the H-Darrieus type of VAWT's, it has developed extendable blade and radius of VAWT's. These turbines response to the wind speed by changing swept area automatically extend outward at low wind speed and retract at excessive wind speed. This action increases the efficiency and get higher power capture at low wind speed. These innovative design found that the power production increased 260% over the turbines through variable swept area.

The effects of energy storages on small signal stability of a power system 储能对电力系统小信号稳定性的影响

Utilizing additional devices for small signal stability enhancement of power systems is crucial over the last few years due to increasing number of demand, uncertainty of load and integrating intermittent power system based on renewable energy. Among the number of additional devices in power system, energy storage is becoming more popular in last few decade. This paper investigates the impact of different types of energy storage on the small signal stability of power system. In order to analyze the impact of aforementioned energy storage for small signal stability, a single power system connected to an infinite bus is used as a test system. The eigenvalue and damping ratio of the investigated mode are used to examine the impact of energy storage on dynamic behavior of the investigated system. Furthermore, a time domain simulation is used to validate the eigenvalue analysis of the system. From the simulation, it is found that the type of energy storage have significant influence on the small signal stability of power system, indicated by the increasing value of damping over the system.
近年来,由于需求的增加、负荷的不确定性以及基于可再生能源的间歇性电力系统的集成,利用附加设备增强电力系统的小信号稳定性变得至关重要。在电力系统的众多附加设备中,储能是近几十年来越来越受欢迎的。本文研究了不同储能方式对电力系统小信号稳定性的影响。为了分析上述储能对小信号稳定性的影响,采用连接无限母线的单个电力系统作为测试系统。利用所研究模态的特征值和阻尼比来考察储能对所研究系统动态性能的影响。通过时域仿真验证了系统特征值分析的正确性。仿真结果表明,储能方式对电力系统的小信号稳定性有显著影响,表现为系统阻尼的增大。

This paper investigates the impact of different types of energy storage on the small signal stability of power system. In order to analyze the impact of aforementioned energy storage for small signal stability, a single power system connected to an infinite bus is used as a test system. The eigenvalue and damping ratio of the investigated mode are used to examine the impact of energy storage on dynamic behavior of the investigated system. Furthermore, a time domain simulation is used to validate the eigenvalue analysis of the system.
