ESTUDO DE CASO DE UM COLETOR DE APITOXINA (API 04 PLUS) E MODELAGEM DE MONTAGEM 蜂毒收集器案例研究(API 04 PLUS)和组装建模

. Several bees were introduced to Brazil by humans, as their by-products such as pollen, wax and venom can be used by humans in a wide variety of applications. Having that in mind, an equipment called apitoxin API 04 Plus was developed - it is capable of collecting bee venom (apitoxin) in a safe way. The present work carried out a case study of the API 04 Plus equipment, proposing changes in the materials and configurations that were used, with the objective of modeling the equipment for assembly. The materials used for the manufacture were surveyed, the equipment's operating mechanisms were studied and the market effects were characterized. It can be concluded from the study that the equipment is operational and functional, and that it is possible to sell the disassembled equipment for assembly by the customer.

. This work presents an analysis and evaluation to conventional techniques of fault detection of bearings with different values speeds. At first, will be presented the main methods in the time domains and frequency domains used to fault detection of bearings. The signals generated by the bearings were acquired on a laboratory workbench using accelerometers and a frequency analyzer, model Nk-820 from TEKNIKAO. The techniques in the time domain and frequency domains were implemented by the MATLAB software and validated through the analysis of a bearing in good condition and another with known defects.

SIMULAÇÃO COMPUTACIONAL 3D DE UM TROCADOR DE CALOR CASCO E TUBO 壳管式换热器的三维计算机模拟

. Heat exchangers are intended to increase heat transfer between fluids, with or without mixture between them, making thermal processes more efficient and reducing energy demand. This study aims to analyze the heat transfer that occurs inside shell-and-tube heat exchangers (recuperators) with baffles, to verify their efficiency through models related to the first law of thermodynamics. For this, the influence of the baffles was analyzed, as elements to direct the flow, expanding time and the area of contact between cold fluid with the hot one, thus allowing an increase in the exchange efficiency. To carry out this study, three-dimensional numerical simulations were performed using the ANSYS ® Fluent software. The turbulence model used was the 𝑘 - 𝜔 𝑆𝑆𝑇 and the energy equation was considered. The main objective of this study is to understand the physical, fluid dynamic and thermal phenomena of the heat exchanger, as well as to evaluate the variables involved.

Investigação da resposta dinâmica de uma torre eólica devido à ação do vento considerando modelos discretos simplificados 考虑简化离散模型的风塔动力响应研究

. A wind turbine tower is a structure built for a long-term operation. In this way, the investigation of the dynamic response gives ways to ensure a better performance and equipment integrity. Therefore, this work proposes a dynamic behavior analysis of the wind tower focused on the frequency domain. Two representative simplified models for the wind tower are considered and a statistical wind analysis to generate force signals is used. Two discrete models based in two different towers were studied, one idealized as 1 DOF and one created by FEM on Ansys software. Force signals were obtained from Weibull distribution and calculated for the tower height using a logarithmic model for the atmospheric boundary layer. Also, Kaimal's power spectral density was used to simulate turbulence. After finding the loads, it was possible to find the frequency response. Values similar to the literature were found for the first tower and were established conditions in which the 1 DOF can be used and situations in which the discrete model is necessary.

The present work shows part of the results obtained in the final work of the first author, and the main objective is to obtain the coefficients of force on airfoils with high camber for the development of aircraft wings for aerodesign competition. Then, it presents a methodology that uses three open source softwares: FreeCAD to design the airfoil, Salome-Meca to generate the unstructured mesh over airfoils with high camber and OpenFOAM to perform the calculations of Computational Fluid Dynamics and obtain the force coefficients. The results obtained in the present work are compared with those obtained in a structured mesh and in experiments, for two airfoils, NACA 4415 and EPPLER 423. The simulations presented convergence and are close to the references, reaching a difference around 6.75% for the airfoil EPPLER 423. Finally, with the use of free software it is possible to obtain results very close to material experiments, being important tools in the development of projects.
