Estudo Numérico da Recuperação Térmica com e sem Hipertermia para Detecção Precoce de Tumores após Hipotermia

. Breast cancer is the main cause of death among women, and infrared thermography is one of the techniques capable of assisting its detection. The objective of this work is to compare the thermal contrasts in the skin surface in the thermal recovery, with and without hyperthermia, after a period of hypothermia in a breast, by a thermographic analysis in the COMSOL software and to verify if the thermal recovery by hyperthermia increases the thermal contrast obtained. The methodology was based on Pennes’ equation in a two-dimensional model of an anatomically similar breast, which presented healthy tissue and with tumor. The obtained results indicated that the application of hyperthermia in the breast thermal recovery does not increase significantly its thermal contrast under the conditions of the numerical model, in addition to causing permanent thermal damage to tissue cells if the time or intensity of the heat flow remains unchanged.Therefore, further studies are still needed to improve infrared thermography techniques so that it is possible to identify breast cancer early.

MANUFATURA ADITIVA: COMPARATIVO DE RESISTÊNCIA MECÂNICA DE ROSCAS FABRICADAS POR FDM EM PLA E ABS 增材制造:FDM在PLA和ABS中制造螺纹的机械强度比较

: The objective of this work is to study the mechanical tensile strength of the internal threads in specimens manufactured in PLA and ABS from additive manufacturing by FDM: Fused Deposition Modeling. Test specimens measuring 30 x 30 x 20 mm were manufactured in PLA and ABS with a 3D printer model Ender 3 V2. The through hole of the test specimens has measurements M12 x 1.75. The varied parameters in the research were: fillings (p), number of walls (w) and height of the layers (h), to enable the understanding of how the mechanical resistance of the material is affected. PLA, despite having a lower resistance of the raw material than ABS, resulted in higher values of mechanical resistance in all tested conditions.

APLICAÇÃO DA FERRAMENTA AHP PARA PRIORIZAR CASO DE USO TECNOLÓGICO EM PMES DA INDÚSTRIA BRASILEIRA 运用层次分析法对巴西工业中小企业的技术用例进行优先排序

. In the last decades, the global industry has been experiencing a technological advance that is providing the development of the concepts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this context, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) need to overcome a series of challenges to implement these emerging technologies, which are currently more within reach of larger companies. One of the challenges perceived by SMEs is choosing the most appropriate technology for them. In this sense, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) tool proved to have the potential to help decision-making, including helping Brazilian industries to choose technology. In order to contemplate both the wills and the real needs of the companies, data from specialists in the industrial area and data that demonstrate the wills of the companies were collected. This collection took place through prioritization questionnaires with the companies participating in the research. This method proved to be efficient in directing the choice of a technology for consultants and companies. In addition, it was noticed that most of the companies selected for the study had a greater need for the technological use case defined as "Process Monitoring", followed by the use case of "Asset Tracking" and finally, "Digitization of Industrial Processes".

A INFLUÊNCIA DA IMPRESSÃO 3D NA PRODUÇÃO DE METAMATERIAIS ACÚSTICOS: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA 3D打印在声学超材料生产中的影响:文献综述

. Acoustic metamaterials are materials that have physical characteristics not found in nature and can be used to obtain sound absorption behaviors, until then, impossible with conventional materials. The objective of this bibliographic review is to systematically select relevant scientific articles that discuss the influence of 3D printing in the production of acoustic metamaterials using the Scopus database. For this purpose, the advanced search tool on the Scopus website was used in order to filter the number of articles to be read, selecting at first look articles related to engineering and materials science. Finally, seventy-six articles were obtained, of which two stood out as the most cited and two others as the most convergent related to the influence of 3D printing in the production of acoustic metamaterials. The recent publication date of these articles between 2014 and 2023 reveals a Chinese dominance in the scientific production on the subject, in addition to the fact that currently it is the period of greatest intensity of study and that new methods of producing metamaterials bring with them a promising future for research in that area.

ANÁLISE DINÂMICA DE UMA VIGA EXCITADA PELO CARREGAMENTO RANDÔMICO DO VENTO 随机风荷载激励梁的动力分析

. This project aims to simulate random wind loading in immersed structures, which can be used for a performance and integrity analysis of the structural systems of a wind turbine. For this, a beam with linear behavior modeled from the theory of Euler-Bernoulli beams was used. Thus, the spectral density was generated, using the Kaimal Method, for the development of wind speed. And, later, the drag force that it exerts when in contact with the beam was calculated, making it possible to observe its dynamic behavior. Finally, the values found using the ANSYS APDL software were compared with the methodology developed in this work. And the auto-spectra of the structural response were generated in order to show the frequency range excited by the proposed force.
