For the first time, the paper reviews the results of detailed revision of herbarium materials from Poaceae Collection (FRU) kept in the Institute for Biology and Soil Science, National Academy of Sciences of the Kirgiz Republic (Bishkek). Synopsis of the genus Piptatherum Beauv. of Kirgiz flora is presented, with brief nomenclature citations and the key for identification. For species, only the main literature sources are cited: Flora of the URSS, Flora of Kirgiz SSR, Conspectus florae Asiae Mediae, and also Tsvelev’s monograph Grasses of the URSS. Piptatherum sogdianum (Grig.) Roshev. is newly reported for the Kyrgyzstan (Chon-Alai province, Alai mounting range, western slope, Kashka-Suuhole 29 VII 1948; Chon-Alai province, Alai mounting range, east stony slope, Balgyndyhole, 6 VIII 1948, Kashenko). The original illustrations, as photographs of spikelet and distributional maps, accompany the synopsis for each species: Piptatherum alpestre (Grig.) Roshev., Piptatherum ferganense (Litv.) Due to the fact that all diseases began to be considered as multifactorial, the main direction of pharmacology in the 21st century is the design of multitarget ligands. The relevance of this approach is confirmed by the authors’ research in the field of analysis of the spectrum of affinity for nine ion channels of the heart for three antiarrhythmic drugs, as well as the results of initiatory research into the search for fundamentally new multifunctional multitarget inhibitors of glycation end-product receptors.

Modern poultry farming is associated with emissions of a significant amount of heat into the atmosphere and from the position of the Kyoto Protocol. The same time, energy is a significant component in the cost of eggs, poultry meat, and all food products from them. The original design of recuperative heat exchangers to minimize aerodynamic drag allowing exhaust air to remove axial fans on the inflow in this case are inevitable radial fans, taking into account the use of the heater. In addition to heat recovery, this vent structure can work both at vacuum and at excessive pressure in the poultry house, for example, in the starting period for broilers. The heat exchanger of the proposed design was tested in the pilot poultry house of OS ‘Cherepovets broiler’, where the installation showed high efficiency by a third to reduce the annual heat consumption compared to other poultry farms located in a similar climatic zone.

The possibilities of using non-biological methods for clarifying sewage from poultry farms are presented, which testify to the high efficiency of using electrochemical technologies. Unlike biological purification, the technology of electro-chemosorption clarification provides for a rigid treatment regime, when not only minerals, organic substances are oxidized, but also microorganisms and all persistent specific contaminants falling into the poultry drains occur. It has been revealed that electro-chemisorption plants can purify effluents to the maximum permissible concentrations over a wider range of contamination levels.

The paper presents a brief overview of the problems in studying the aging under the influence of oxidative reactions in the Human body. The features of the free radical theory of aging were analyzed, the role of antioxidant enzymes was considered. Aging is a complex of processes and phenomena occurring in the Human body under the influence of various factors, the oxidative metabolism has an important role in this process. The study of the mechanisms of aging opens up the prospect of using this knowledge to find methods to prolong human life.

The diversity of climatic zones in Russia has no analogues in the world. This fact testifies to the diversity of climate control in poultry farms located at different natural latitudes. Taking into account the fact that twenty-two regions in Russia have “comatose” climatic zones, and the decrease in temperature on the tributary to remove heat surpluses should be 3-4 0C lower, this imposes significant requirements on the microclimate system of poultry houses. On this basis, the algorithms of transition periods (spring-autumn) are proposed which are calculated to remove excess moisture and technical means selected for winter and summer in the Russian Federation. Techniques of optimization algorithm for climate control in poultry houses introduced domestic and foreign companies in the poultry farms supplying micro-climatic equipment in Russia. The practice of rapid calculations of the microclimate on the” average “ indicators leads to overspending of energy costs, it is one of the reasons that the bird does not reveal the potential for productivity. We proved that the use of optimized microclimate control algorithms solves the problem of energy cost overruns and increases the productivity of poultry farms.

The genus Artemisia has about 400 species and among the plants of this genus there are native and alien species. Currently, flora’s adventitization has become one of the indicators of a powerful anthropogenic transformation of the environment, to which the flora of many regions is exposed. The study of morphological, physiological and biochemical features affecting the ability of alien species allows us to determine their rate of adaptation and the possibility of adjusting their behavior in the process of naturalization. We tried to determine the similarities and differences in the composition of key cellular components that determine the growth, development and productivity of plants in indigenous and alien species. The aim of the study was to study the quantitative content of pigments, proteins and lipids in indigenous and alien species of the genus Artemisia. The results show that alien species of A. sieversiana differ from local species by a higher content of functionally active groups of molecules, such as photosynthetic pigments, proteins and lipids. The observed differences in these groups of molecules can be due to species specificity and the genetic status of the species, as well as the place of plant growth.

At present, the databases on strains of infectious diseases are of great information value, combining many properties of cultures, including the best information on the reliability of species identification, completeness of information on the potential pathogenicity of a particular strain and genetic markers. In the course of the study, a database of 47 strains and cultural variants of B. Anthracis was formed, the strains of which were isolated from different types of material in the territory of the former USSR. Proteomic profiles of the studied strains are included in the developed electronic database in the environment of the program Biotyper V. 3.0, compatible with “MALDI Biotyper” software.
