The Problem statement of this research was what factors affecting the English reading anxiety for class XI.I students of SMA Negeri 4 Pasarwajo. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the reading anxiety of class XI.I students of SMA Negeri 4 Pasarwajo. This research used the qualitative research design. The subject of this research was student class XI.I SMA Negeri 4 Pasarwajo year 2022/2023. The data was obtained by observation and interview then was analyzed by the researcher with three steps: data reduction, data display, and draw conclusion or verification. This research found that there were three factors that affected the reading anxiety students’ class XI.I SMA Negeri 4 Pasarwajo. Those were hard to Understand Text, fear of making mistakes, lack of confidence.

The problem statement of this research is whether the Tiktok application give an impact to improve students English vocabulary masery in SMA Negeri 3 Baubau of eleventh grade students. The research provides the motivation to explore students’ perceptions of the influence of the students' use of social media such as TikTok on the development of the student's English vocabulary on 11th grade students in SMA Negeri 3 Baubau. This research used a mixed methods with QUAL-quan type, where data will be distributed by qualitative methods such as interviews and documentaries and quantitative methods such as questionnaires. A total of 37 11th graders, 3 baubau students, have been involved in the research. The technique of data Analysis used embendded design with chosee data collecting, data reduction, data display, and data conclution. Results showed that social media TikTok provided English sources of content that could be used to supplement the student's English vocabulary. Students can also access applications at any time and anywhere, further students can also gain entertainment and add their English vocabulary at any one time. Beyond that students also mention the problems they face in accessing a ticktock app such as an Internet connection. It may be concluded that students have a positive perception of a TikTok application with a view to improving the English vocabulary

Problem statement that is answered in this research is what is the teaching style the English teacher use in teaching English at the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. The objective of this research was to find out the teaching style the English teacher use in teaching English at the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau. The research used a quantitative approach with applying the descriptive method. The population of this research was the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Baubau who registered in the school year of 2022/2023 in odd semester. In taking sample of the population, the researcher used cluster sampling technique by taking 60 students to be the sample of this research. Instrument that was used in this research will be a teacher style questionnaire. Technique of data analysis that was applied in this research is a descriptive statistics. Based on the finding of the research and the data analysis, it was found that the mean score of expert style was 2.9 which achieves high category, the mean score of formal authority style was 2.7 which achieves moderate category, the mean score of personal model style was 2.5 which achieves moderate category, the mean score of facilitator style was 2.9 which achieves high category, and the mean score of delegator style was 2.8 which achieves moderate category. From those results, it could be concluded that the most teaching styles used by the English teacher at grade eight at SMP Negeri 7 Baubau were the expert style and the facilitator style.

The problem statement of this research was whether there was any difference of reading comprehension of students who have tought using PQRST technique and students who are not thought by this method. The research was quantitative research using quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The population was all of students in eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Kapontori that consist 136 students. The sample was taken by using cluster sampling technique consisting of IX Mathematics and Natural science 2, and IX Mathematics and Natural science 3 that contains 28 students in each class. The instrument used was a multiple choice test with 25 questions. Data collected by the result of pre-test and post-test from each class. Then analyzed by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the result of the research, the mean score of the experimental class was 59.14 in pre-test, and 71.14 in post-test. While the mean score in control class was 62.15 in pre-test and 66.78 in post-test. The outcome of the hypothesis testing by using independent sample T-Test, found that the sig. 2 tailed was 0.00 smaller than 0.05. In the other words, H0 is rejected and HI is accepted, so that it can be conclude that there is significant difference between students who have taught by using PQRST technique and students who have taught using conventional method of eleventh grade at SMA Negeri 1 Kapontori.

And for factors anxiety, there were afraid of making mistakes, lack of vocabulary, and lack of confident.

Then to the design used by case studies research. It use several methods, such as interviews and observations to collect the data. The location of the research was at SMP Negeri 27 Buton Tengah. This research was precisely location in Madongka Village, Lakudo, Buton Tengah. The subject of this research was an English teacher at second grade of SMP Negeri 27 Buton Tengah.The instrument in this research process was the researcher herself who acts as the research instrument. To analyze the data from observation and interviews, researchers used Data collection, Data reduction, and data display.
The result of the finding indicated that the types of teaching style used by English teacher at SMPN 27 Baton Tengah namely Expert style, formal authority style, Personal model or demonstrator and facilitator style. The dominant teaching style used by the teacher was formal auditory style, personal model or demonstrator. The teacher usually design group activities that require active learning, student to student’s collaboration, and problem solving.

This study aims to reveal the internal factors that cause student demotivation in learning English and to reveal the external factors that cause student demotivation in learning English. Data collection in this study was carried out using research instruments in the form of observation, interviews, and document study to find out the internal factors that cause students demotivation in learning English and the external factors that cause students demotivation in learning English, interviews were conducted to ensure the data obtained could be valid. The data obtained were analyzed with a descriptive qualitative approach and analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The researchers saw that students were less enthusiastic and eager to learn English, this could be due to their low interest in learning English, besides that the researchers also saw that the teacher's teaching methods were still less creative, lack of appreciation to students and still lack of supporting facilities for learning English. Based on the results of interviews conducted with ten eighth-fourth grade students and teachers of English subjects researchers can conclude that there are several internal factors that cause students not to be motivated to learn English, namely their low interest in learning English, students also feel difficulty in learning English and they often feel bored when learning English and external factors that cause students to be unmotivated to learn English is the attitude of the teacher when teaching, lack of interaction between teachers and students in the school environment, students also feel that the teacher's teaching style is still less attractive, students' difficulty in doing assignments due to lack of English vocabulary, the influence of classmates who mostly do not like English, the lack of availability of library books and the low interest in reading students, and the last is the lack of support or attention from the family to the student's learning process

Data collection in this study was carried out using research instruments in the form of observation, interviews, and document study to find out the internal factors that cause students demotivation in learning English and the external factors that cause students demotivation in learning English, interviews were conducted to ensure the data obtained could be valid. The data obtained were analyzed with a descriptive qualitative approach and analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The researchers saw that students were less enthusiastic and eager to learn English, this could be due to their low interest in learning English, besides that the researchers also saw that the teacher's teaching methods were still less creative, lack of appreciation to students and still lack of supporting facilities for learning English. The problem statement of this research was whether there was a significant correlation between students’ speaking anxiety and speaking ability at SMA Negeri 4 Baubau. This research aimed to determine whether there was a significant correlation between students’ speaking anxiety and speaking ability at SMA Negeri 4 Baubau. The method of this thesis was an ex post facto method. The population of this research was the grade eleven students at SMA Negeri 4 Baubau in the school year of 2022/2023 which consisted of a total population was 287 students. The technique of sample used in this research was simple random sampling and the sample of the research was 50 samples. The research was carried out by using a questionnaire and a test as the instruments. The questionnaire was used to find out the category of students’ speaking anxiety and the test was used to find out the category of students’ speaking ability. The data obtained using the questionnaire and test then were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, prerequisite analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the result of this research, it concluded that the Sig. value was 0.001. Because of the Sig. value was higher than 0.05, which meant that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. It meant that there was any significant correlation between students’ speaking anxiety and speaking ability on grade eleven students at SMA Negeri 4 Baubau.

The main focuses of this research study were to identify all research projects conducted by English for International Communication (EIC) students between 2017-2019 based on the Thailand 20-Year National Strategy Plan; summarize and analyzing; and, suggest the scope of the research projects in the IS course. A total of 109 research projects proceeded by the EIC students were analyzed. The research instruments were the Research Topic Analysis Checklist (RTAC). The statistic used in data analysis was the percentage. Overall, the findings indicated that the most of the research projects were in the strategy of development and strengthening human capital (85%), social cohesion and just society (5.45%), and national competitiveness enhancement (1.09%) respectively whereas there was at 8.21% ungrouped projects. Noticeably, an innovation technology and area base of IS projects gradually increased with the 21st century skills in 2019. Additionally, the understanding of both university mission and Thailand 20-Year National Strategy Plan related to the various research projects. This study can mutually provide a practical guideline for encouraging both teachers and students to explore more diverse interesting topic areas by bridging the gaps between the university mission, provincial policy and strategy, and Thailand 20-Year National Strategy Plan.
