Selection of Raw Material Suppliers Using Analytical Hierarchy Process in Food and Beverage Company, South Jakarta 基于层次分析法的雅加达南部食品饮料公司原材料供应商选择

The purpose of this research was to see the selection of raw material suppliers as an assessment of supplier performance. Data were obtained from the results of assessment of the experts in food and beverage company in South Jakarta. The rate selection of suppliers was based on several criteria. There was the suitability in some products with the demand for tolerance of 10% about mismatch delivery, 10% of the accuracy of the product delivery, 5% of products quality, 5% of product prices, 5% of the easiness of information or data, and 10% of the problem-solving action. The results show that 40% of suppliers get a warning letter regarding their performance from January to June 2016, 20% of suppliers have already gotten a reprimand directly from the company, 20% of suppliers have been deactivated from the list of suppliers, because they cannot meet the target value which equals to 4,05, only 20% of the supplier can maintain its performance.

An Implementation of Location Based Service (LBS) for Community Tracking 基于位置服务(LBS)的社区跟踪实现

The case of lost or missing children when people go traveling or in the hustle often occurs due to lack of parental supervision. These problems can be solved using Global Position System (GPS)-based navigation technology Location Based Service (LBS). This research aimed to determine the position of members of the community (such as family) who were lost or missing by using mobile devices. Rapid Application Development (RAD) was used for system development, which comprised the step of requirement or planning, system design, development, and cutover. The result of this research is a GPS-based application that is able to display the position of members of the community, the route to the location, and the media discussion (comments). The conclusions show that the application provides an easy and useful function in finding the location of the community member, displays the route to the location, and allows the interaction in the form of communication.

The Development of Indoor Object Recognition Tool for People with Low Vision and Blindness 弱视盲人室内物体识别工具的研制

The purpose of this research was to develop methods and algorithms that could be applied as the underlying base for developing an object recognition tools. The method implemented in this research was initial problem identification, methods and algorithms testing and development, image database modeling, system development, and training and testing. As a result, the system can perform with 93,46% of accuracy for indoor object recognition. Even though the system achieves relatively high accuracy in recognizing objects, it is still limited to a single object detection and not able to recognize the object in real time.
本研究的目的是开发可以作为开发目标识别工具的底层基础的方法和算法。本研究实施的方法是初步问题识别、方法和算法测试与开发、图像数据库建模、系统开发、培训与测试。结果表明,该系统对室内物体的识别准确率为93.46%。尽管该系统在识别物体方面达到了较高的精度,但仍然局限于对单个物体的检测,无法对物体进行实时识别。

The Implementation of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)-Based E-Learning System for College Level Learners 基于大规模开放在线课程(MOOC)的高校学生电子学习系统的实现

This research aimed to find out how the implementation of MOOCs-based e-learning system was as an attempt to provide equal access to education athigher education level in Indonesia and to describe the user profile of MOOCs based e-learning. This research used a descriptive quantitative method, and the subjects of the research were 30 MOOCs participants drawn randomly. The design of the MOOCs-based e-learning implementedhad following features. Those were a) Bahasa Indonesia content; b) responsive media interface that can be accessed from a variety of devices; c) the use of short duration video content to facilitate buffering process; d) the use of interactive multimedia content; e) the use of social learningprinciples through the feature of discussion forum; and f) the use of gamification principles through the provision of badges for participants. The results of this research indicate that MOOCs-based e-learning system has the potential to improve the equal access to higher education with severalindicators. First, the majority of participants are females. Second, the latest education of most users is high school or vocational high school. Last, most have been working as employees.

Predicting and Analyzing the Length of Study-Time Case Study: Computer Science Students 预测和分析学习时间的长度个案研究:计算机科学专业的学生

The length of study-time is one of the important issues in higher education. The goal of this research was to predict and analyze the length of studytime in the early stage of Computer Science students in X University. The research proposed Mutual Information (MI) as feature selection method and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a classification method. There were two different sections of the experiments. The first experiment used two class targets that were grouped in ‘on time group’ and ‘late group’. The experiment result shows that the proposed method produces accuracy around 85%. The second experiment used three class targets, ‘on time group’, ‘late group’, and ‘very late group’. The experiment result of the proposed method produces accuracy around 80%. Mutual Information (MI) does not only successfully raise the accuracy but also uncovers the relationship between subjects and the class targets.

Eve: An Automated Question Answering System for Events Information Eve:一个用于事件信息的自动问答系统

The objective of this research was to create a closed-domain of automated question answering system specifically for events called Eve. Automated Question Answering System (QAS) is a system that accepts question input in the form of natural language. The question will be processed through modules to finally return the most appropriate answer to the corresponding question instead of returning a full document as an output. Thescope of the events was those which were organized by Students Association of Computer Science (HIMTI) in Bina Nusantara University. It consisted of 3 main modules namely query processing, information retrieval, and information extraction. Meanwhile, the approaches used in this system included question classification, document indexing, named entity recognition and others. For the results, the system can answer 63 questions for word matching technique, and 32 questions for word similarity technique out of 94 questions correctly.

Developing IT Strategic Planning Using Mobile Enterprise Architecture In The Academic Process of Atma Jaya Makassar University 在Atma Jaya望加锡大学学术进程中利用移动企业架构制定IT战略规划

The purpose of this research was to examine the feasibility of the development of mobile enterprise strategic plan, analyze the academic process and the utilization of information technology (IT), and generate documentation IT strategic planning by implementing Mobile Enterprise Architecture in the academic process of Atma Jaya University in Makassar. Data were taken from distributing questionnaires to 297 respondents and conducting interviews to 18 respondents. Data were examined using SWOT analysis, the incorporation of academic scorecard analysis and IT balanced scorecard analysis, financial analysis, as well as analytic hierarchy process (AHP). SWOT analysis results indicate that case study is in a weak position, which possibly never take advantage of opportunities since the weakness of the stand or the power is not enough to work on it. In addition, the results of the performance analysis of the utilization of information technology using the Balanced Scorecard analysis show that the average performance is sufficient. The result of documentation of IT strategic planning was analyzed with financial analysis indicating the feasibility of implementation because it provides benefits for university of 141,32%. Furthermore, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the priority of IT strategy proposals shows that the main priority is to develop portal for student and lecturer.

Local Contrast Enhancement Using Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets Optimized By Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm 基于人工蜂群算法优化的直觉模糊集局部对比度增强

The article presented the enhancement method of cells images. The first method used in the local contrast enhancement was Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS). The proposed method is the IFS optimized by Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm. The ABC was used to optimize the membership function parameter of IFS. To measure the image quality, Image Enhancement Metric (IEM) was applied. The results of local contrast enhancement using both methods were compared with the results using histogram equalization method. The tests were conducted using two MDCK cell images. The results of local contrast enhancement using both methods were evaluated by observing the enhanced images and IEM values. The results show that the methods outperform the histogram equalization method. Furthermore, the method using IFSABC is better than the IFS method.

The results show that the methods outperform the histogram equalization method. The Impact of Self-Esteem and Internet Use on Academic Performance 自尊与网络使用对学业成绩的影响

The students’ academic performance is one of important evaluation factors in accreditation. It is interesting to explore the factors which give impact to the academic achievement or performance. This research put academic performance as the research problem. Since this research was combining two disciplines: information systems (IS) and educational management (EM), it set Internet Use (representing IS) and self-esteem (representing EM) as factors impacting the academic performance. Moreover, this research used the quantitative method. Based on the quantitative research model, the research used primary data collected from students of ABFI Institute of Perbanas, Jakarta. The data was calculated using a statistical tool called SPSS. The descriptive statistics was also applied to describe the variables, and regression technique was for describing the relationship between the variables. After analyzing the data, the research finds that self-esteem affects the academic performance significantly and positively, but the Internet use does not impact the academic performance significantly.

The Implementation of ABC Classification and (Q, R) with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Model on the Travel Agency ABC分类与经济订货量(EOQ)模型在旅行社中的实现

To support customer loyalty programs, the travel agencies gave a souvenir to their customers. In one of the travel agencies in Jakarta, the demand for travel agency services could not be ensured. This had an impact on inventory items that were surplus to requirements. Inventory management was done by combining classifications ABC and (Q, R) with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model, which was usually used for uncertain demand. With “A” classification of the goods, two model (Q, R) scenarios were made and then simulated with software Arena. From these two scenarios, the results show that both have a tendency to decline, or the stockouts occur. However, the second scenario is more optimistic because a dummy variable is added the second scenario. Thus, the tendency is stable and does not decline.
