Voice recognition technology is one of biometric technology. Sound is a unique part of the human being which made an individual can be easily distinguished one from another. Voice can also provide information such as gender, emotion, and identity of the speaker. This research will record human voices that pronounce digits between 0 and 9 with and without noise. Features of this sound recording will be extracted using Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC). Mean, standard deviation, max, min, and the combination of them will be used to construct the feature vectors. This feature vectors then will be classified using Support Vector Machine (SVM). There will be two classification models. The first one is based on the speaker and the other one based on the digits pronounced. The classification model then will be validated by performing 10-fold cross-validation.The best average accuracy from two classification model is 91.83%. This result achieved using Mean + Standard deviation + Min + Max as features.

This paper discusses integrated model of batch production scheduling and machine maintenance scheduling. Batch production scheduling uses minimize total actual flow time criteria and machine maintenance scheduling uses the probability of machine failure based on Weibull distribution. The model assumed no nonconforming parts in a planning horizon. The model shows an increase in the number of the batch (length of production run) up to a certain limit will minimize the total actual flow time. Meanwhile, an increase in the length of production run will implicate an increase in the number of PM. An example was given to show how the model and algorithm work.

According to Indonesia Association of Service Provider (APJII) survey in 2014, the internet user in Indonesia increased up to around 88 million. This number expresses that the use of the internet to seek business franchise information will increase as well. The increase of internet using should be followed by the quality of franchisor's website. The franchisor's website will relate to system quality, information quality and service quality (DeLone and McLean, 2003). This research uses SEM LISREL to see the loading factors of each indicator impact in variables and website quality variables impact to intention to purchase franchise. The result shows that all variables (System quality, Information Quality, and Service Quality) give significant impact to dependent variable Website Quality.

The objective of this study is to apply cluster analysis or also known as clustering on stocks data listed in LQ45 index at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The problem is that traders need a tool to speed up decision-making process in buying, selling and holding their stocks.The method used in this cluster analysis is k-means algorithm. The data used in this study were taken from Indonesia Stock Exchange. Cluster analysis in this study took data’s characteristics such as stocks volume and value. Results of cluster analysis were presented in the form of grouping of clusters’ members visually. Therefore, this cluster analysis in this study could be used to identify more quickly and efficiently about the members of each cluster of LQ45 index. The results of such identification can be used by beginner-level investors who have started interest in stock investment to help make decision on stocks trading.

Higher demand from the top management in measuring business process performance causes the incremental implementation of BPM and BI in the enterprise. The problem faced by top managements is how to integrate their data from all system used to support the business and process the data become information that able to support the decision-making processes. Our literature review elaborates several implementations of BPI on companies in Australia and Germany, challenges faced by organizations in developing BPI solution in their organizations and some cost model to calculate the investment of BPI solutions. This paper shows the success in BPI application of banks and assurance companies in German and electricity work in Australia aims to give a vision about the importance of BPI application. Many challenges in BPI application of companies in German and Australia, BPI solution, and data warehouse design development have been discussed to add insight in future BPI development. And the last is an explanation about how to analyze cost associated with BPI solution investment.

The objective of this research was to determine the students’ satisfaction level on the academic services provided by the accounting program at a private university in Jakarta and to evaluate attributes that should be improved. The data were obtained from questionnaires by using 5 quality dimensions. There are tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Moreover, the data were processed by using Excel, SPSS 20, Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to determine the level of customer satisfaction, and also Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine the attributes of service be repaired and maintained. The results show that the CSI is 71%, which means that the majority of customers are satisfied with the performance of the service quality of accounting program. Meanwhile, the results of IPA indicate that the improvement priorities have two attributes in quadrant 1. They are the availability of space to support student activities and the availability of books and teaching materials related to the syllabus. These attributes are the top priority because the importance level is high while the performance level is low from the customers’ point of view.

Exopeptidases, including dipeptidyl- and tripeptidylpeptidase, are crucial for the growth of Porphyromonas gingivalis, a periodontopathic asaccharolytic bacterium that incorporates amino acids mainly as di- and tripeptides. In this study, we identified a novel exopeptidase, designated acylpeptidyl oligopeptidase (AOP), composed of 759 amino acid residues with active Ser(615) and encoded by PGN_1349 in P. gingivalis ATCC 33277. AOP is currently listed as an unassigned S9 family peptidase or prolyl oligopeptidase. Recombinant AOP did not hydrolyze a Pro-Xaa bond. In addition, although sequence similarities to human and archaea-type acylaminoacyl peptidase sequences were observed, its enzymatic properties were apparently distinct from those, because AOP scarcely released an N-acyl-amino acid as compared with di- and tripeptides, especially with N-terminal modification. The kcat/Km value against benzyloxycarbonyl-Val-Lys-Met-4-methycoumaryl-7-amide, the most potent substrate, was 123.3 ± 17.3 μm(-1) s(-1), optimal pH was 7-8.5, and the activity was decreased with increased NaCl concentrations. AOP existed predominantly in the periplasmic fraction as a monomer, whereas equilibrium between monomers and oligomers was observed with a recombinant molecule, suggesting a tendency of oligomerization mediated by the N-terminal region (Met(16)-Glu(101)). Fish Protein Hydrolysates (FPH) is the mixed products of polypeptide, dipeptides, and amino acid. It can be produced from materials that contained of protein by acid reaction, base reaction or enzymatic hydrolysis. The objectives of this study were to study the production of FPH from fish carp meat at post rigor phase and viscera by enzymatic hydrolysis, to determine the specific activity of papain enzyme, and to determine the solubility of FPH. Capacity of fish hydrolyzing can be identified by analyzing the content of dissolved total nitrogen (NTT) compared with nitrogen total ingredient (NTB) in order to get the value of total soluble nitrogen/total nitrogen material (NTT/NTB). The hydrolysis processes were carried out in 0,26% (w/v) papain, 60 οC for 3 hours. The result showed that the specific activity of papain enzyme was about 3.28 U/mg. Solubility of FPH by comparing NTT/NTB was about 0.29% (fish meat) and 0.40% (fish viscera). Proximate test of protein content of fish meat was 18.34 ± 0.04 (g/100 g); while viscera was about 0.95±0.04 (g/100 g). The result indicated that product waste of fish carp had potential as a major of source of FPH.

Looking at this matter and the increasing dynamics of XYZ University, then Data and Information System Center (Pusdatin) - an IT provider of XYZ University began implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) from 2013 using the latest version of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), namely ITIL v3 as a framework for implementing ITSM in its business processes. However, along the way, there are still some problems happen in Pusdatin in order that ITSM can actually support and align with the objectives of XYZ University. Through this paper, the authors want to explain how the implementation of ITSM at Pusdatin, identify the problems related to the implementation of ITSM, and provide the solutions for each problem. The methods used are direct observation to Pusdatin, conductan interview with the Head of Pusdatin and Staff of Pusdatin, and also perform a literature review of books and papers that discuss about ITIL. The result of this research is that ITSM process of Pusdatin generally works quite well but there are still some shortcomings because ITSM is not 100% implemented in all areas.

The research objective is to develop an application that allows users to participate in a loyalty program and facilitate Smartphone enterprise (Merchant) in access, sale and observation of customer transactions through mobile applications. Design method used is object-based design that includes a UML of use case diagrams, use case narrative, class diagram, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams. Results achieved in the form of mobile applications that are able to facilitate customer in managing loyalty cards as well as to increase customer loyalty. This application features, such as add points, redeem, news, transaction history, and message that can facilitate customer in managing customer loyalty card. The conclusion of this design is that the application of E Points can enable customers to manage a loyalty card in Smartphone, add points, redeem rewards, obtain the latest promotional information through news features, and view transaction history.
