Based on the new archival sources introduced into scientific circulation, the article examines the history of the formation, construction, and development of the Zagustaisky datsan. The author reveals the history of the construction of both the main cathedral church and auxiliary premises of the monastery complex. The above reliable documents, testimonies, information left by the outstanding orientalist A.M. Pozdneev, allow us to shed light on the history of construction, staffing and monastic everyday life of the temple under study.

The article explores the historical aspects and main stages in the development of international activities of cities, which made it possible to identify four main stages characterized by different types of urban communities, the specifics of the implementation of external relations and the nature of interaction with national states. The author reveals a number of principles and prototypes of international relations and diplomatic activity, laid down in the historical eras of Antiquity and the Middle Ages, relevant in modern times.

The Russian Orthodox Church goes its own way to strengthen faith, tradition and other socio-spiritual areas that has always been the activity of missionary work. The church and the media in print media perform their functions of communication with society, reflecting their actions and influence on society from both sides. At the same time, the church is developing cooperation with all types of media and media structures of other faiths. The church has a benevolent attitude towards the media and the Internet, and believers perceive the Internet and the media as a broadcaster of spiritual meetings in virtual-real life.

The article analyzes the role of cultural codes in ordering social processes and preserving the integrity and ethno-cultural uniqueness of Russian society. The authors prove that language, symbols and other sign systems, along with traditions, customs and rituals, as well as norms and rules of conduct, constitute a complex of cultural codes of ethnic groups and are the leading characteristics of ethno-cultural identity and national cultures that are used as social mechanisms of spiritual continuity and preservation of the integrity of society.

The article is devoted to the study of large-scale migration processes occurring in the modern globalizing world. The problem is the need to create universal mechanisms for regulating the uncontrolled flow of people around the world. Political, economic, demographic, environmental and other problems periodically arising in various parts of the world are the real confirmation of this. According to the authors, in the context of globalization and geopolitical reorganization of the world illegal migration poses a threat not only to social and public security, but also to the existence of some states in the world.

. The article examines the place of the oldest party in modern Russia the LDPR in the political system. A brief overview of the most relevant literature on this topic is presented. The author chose the comparative-analytical method and the principle of historicism as the methodological basis of the study. Vladimir Wolfovich Zhirinovsky for thirty-two years was the charismatic leader of The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia until April 2022. With his death, a new stage in the life of the party began. The key factors for the further development of the LDPR are leadership in the party, the preservation of its patriotic, state-oriented, and center-right orientation. To improve its image, the party is committed to intensifying its work with voters across the country, increasing the number of LDPR members, improving the lives of Russians through legislative activities in the State Duma.

The aim of the present paper is proving the position that modern development of Crimea as a part of the Russian Federation has deep historical, cultural and civilizational foundations. Having been integrated to Russia at the end of the 18th century, this region became open to the whole world. At the same time, the Russian paradigm of state development was dominant and virtually unconditionally supported by the majority of the population. The Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was formed at the beginning of the 20th century within the established Russian traditions and development. After the Great Patriotic War, Crimea kept its development in the all-Russian cultural course, despite the republic was transmitted into administration of Ukraine in 1954. The transfer of Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954 within the framework of the all-Soviet statehood did not change the established axiology, state and legal priorities of the local population. The collapse of the Soviet Union and the violent ukrainization and westernization caused the rejection by the prevailing majority of Crimeans. The reunification of Crimea with Russia according to the results of the referendum, held on March 16, 2014, is historically justified and complies with the universally recognized principles of democracy, law and universal morality.
