The article analyzes the concept of securitisation by the Copenhagen school of political thought, while defining its utility in studying issues of national identity. This research avenue is gaining traction within the constructivist approach as world politics has become more human. Yet, the author stresses that the methodology in question is limited. It does not explain why the securitising actor, which is an influential politician, chooses some certain behavioural model and a respective security scenario. It is also important that the audience, which they try to persuade that a threat exists, is highly overlooked within the analytical framework. However, this very audience is concerned about preserving national identity and influences decisions taken by the securitising actor. Given the interdisciplinary nature of identity, one way to fill the existing theoretical and conceptual vacuum is to turn to psychology. This would allow borrowing additional provisions that explain why fear emerges in the context of providing ontological security and what role it plays in tackling threats.

The author explores contemporary papers, devoted to the problem of multiculturalism, and studies in details both those ones that focus on finding adequate foundations for cultural policy and intercultural communication, as those papers, that are devoted to issues of integration policy and state-favored regimes, the legal and political status of multicultural groups and the format of their differences’ designation. The author's special attention is focused on the papers that clear the today’s «multiculturalism’s schools», the specifics of their methodology, as well as the theoretical and methodological apparatus.

The complicated geopolitical situation due to Russia's special military operation in Ukraine is accompanied by serious risks to the lives of residents of different regions of Novorossiya and Ukraine, especially children, forcing many of them to become migrants. The article examines the results of sociological and socio-psychological research on the implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of a comprehensive program of leisure and rehabilitation measures for the social adaptation of these children in the host Russian community, using the example of a temporary residence for children – forced migrants in the Moscow region. It is established that during the 2022/2023 academic year the state of their physical, social and mental health of children (boys and girls 12–17 years old) has significantly improved on the base of various types and forms of physical, intellectual, artistic and aesthetic development provided to them. Children not only socially and psychologically adapted to the new conditions of the host Russian community, but also developed their knowledge, skills and abilities, improved their self-esteem and optimism in the conditions of the host Russian society.

The article presents the results of cognitive mapping of digital content dedicated to the integration of the inhabitants of the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic into the socio-cultural space of modern Russia. The research methodology is based on the network approach in its diffusionist version. The presented empirical study is aimed at determining the content characteristics of the integration information flows of the LPR and DPR in order to assess compliance with the actual tasks of integration programs, as well as the basic components of the Russian value and worldview policy, the implementation of which has been intensified in recent years. The authors highlight the main characteristics of integration flows in social media, as well as identify promising areas for work of authorities and civil institutions.

Common good principle is shown as a component of solidarity in military processes context, which is confirmed by current situation in Russia over the past two years. Common good is a principle that prevail over principles of conflicting private selfish and group interests in practices and institutes. Private selfish and group good principle (nihilism towards common good) is opposed to common good. Not only trust, solidarity, law, institutes, politics, but society survival in the face of common disaster is impossible without common good principle. Weak sprouts of solidarization have emerged since autumn of 2022. Various authors’ researches and data allow us to state that solidarity (empirically manifested, among other things, even in increase in trust in the authorities) coexists with a social split. Many common good understandings and interpretations, and sides of the failed dialogue create their own common good discourses. A split occurs between them, understood as a socially (and politically) non-optimal discrepancy between interests of certain groups with impossibility of its civilized overcoming, often with impossibility or limited opportunity for dialogue between the sides. Solidarity and the common good are a priori impossible in a split. It is very likely that in the current extreme time for Russia, common good principle will be developed. Russian sociality can change significantly, passing these crosses, which obviously require in-depth and thorough research.
