This study describes the improvement of radio frequency VHF APP and VHF ER caused by bandwidth widening. VHF is the frequency used to transmit data that is transmitted in all directions. VHF A/G is an equipment used for communication between air traffic control (ATC) and pilot with a frequrncy range of 117.9 MHz – 137 MHz. To overcome the widening of the bandwidth, re-setting is done by using a cavity filter with a resonant frequency of 132.3 MHz and passing frequencies above the cut-off frequency. With the re –setting using a cavity filter, the bandwidth can be narrowed again so as to eliminate interference between VHF APP radios and VHF ER, but as a result the transmit power distance on VHF is reduced but does not reduce the performance of the radio. Roads are the most important aspects of distribution, social, and economic fields, but over time and changing weather is often the cause of road damage. Therefore, it is necessary to have a review carried out to be able to determine the type of damage and the degree of damage that occurs. Observations will be made on the Teuku Umar Tuban Road Section by referring to the Bina Marga Method. Observations will be carried out visually and only analyzed only on the surface, in addition to calculating the daily vehicle volume. From the observation process, types of damage were obtained, namely patholes, cracking, patchng, depression and rutting. Based on the type of damage, repairs will be carried out on the most numerous and fundamental type of damage is to use the crack fill method, this is done because this road has a crack of 55%.

Rotating beacon yang berada di Bandar Udara Internasional Adi Soemarmo Solo sudah termakan usia karena sudah 42 tahun digunakan sejak 1979. Maka dari itu, kondisi rotating beacon sering bermasalah, yaitu tidak berfungsinya rotating beacon dengan normal sehingga perlupenggantian peralatan rotating beacon yang baru.

This research examines the Mach Airspeed Warning System on aircraft at PT. Batam Aero Technic as a hangar or aircraft maintenance service provider registered with the Ministry of Transportation. The Mach airspeed warning system supports an aural warning system to help turn on the aircraft when the aircraft is in a condition exceeding or approaching the airspeed limit which will later enter the Mach speed. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative. Beginning with the experience of any consequences related to the Mach Airspeed Warning System, then presenting solutions to the potential hazards carried out by the author so that these potential hazards can be reduced. The results of the study found 4 causes that made errors in Mach Airspeed.

Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris tersebut, Program Studi Diploma 3 Komunikasi Penerbangan pada tahun 2021 menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berupa Workshop Peningkatan kemampuan ICAO English Language Proficiency (IELP) Aeronautical Communication Officer (ACO) yang bekerjasama dengan perum LPPNPI (Airnav Indonesia). Pada workshop ini, pelatihan bahasa Inggris ini diutamakan yang berbasis konten dan berfokus pada keselamatan, operasional, materi otentik atau materi lain dalam situasi penting pilot dan pengontrol. Setelah dilakukan workshop ini, dilakukan survey terhadap peserta untuk mengetahui efektifitas kegiatan workshop. Penelitian atas hasil survey workshop ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif.

Penelitian dilakukan di AirNav Cabang Denpasar dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran apakah ada pengaruh beban kerja Air Traffic Controller (ATC) yang muncul selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Proses pengolahan data dilakukan di Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug (PPI Curug) mulai Desember 2020 hingga Agustus 2021. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel ini adalah seluruh ATC Tower Perum LPPNPI Cabang Denpasar yang mengoperasikan penggabungan sektor Ngurah Ground, Ngurah Tower, dan Clearance Delivery. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi yang berisi data tentang Performance Check ATC Tower, dan kuesioner Nasa-TLX. Ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif dan berbanding terbalik (berlawanan arah) antara Beban Kerja Pemandu Lalu Lintas Udara dengan Kinerja sebesar -0,439. Pengaruh pemenuhan beban kerja pemandu lalu lintas udara terhadap kinerja ATC penerbangan sebesar 19% dan sisanya ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam bagian penelitian. Perlu adanya perhatian khusus pada setiap beban kerja ATC Tower, dan perlu adanya sosialisasi kepada tower controller untuk meningkatkan dan mempertahankan kinerja, mengadakan training atau refreshing course bagi personel ATC.

ABSTRACT This study aimed at investigating critical literacy level of multilingual cadets and to know cadets’ responses to the activities designed from a critical perspective. There were 3 cadets of “English Bites”, an extracurricular activity of improving English ability outside the classroom in Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya (Civil Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya). This study was a case study conducted at the first semester of Civil Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya in 2020/ 2021 academic year. To collect the data, this study used observation, interview, and documentation. The cadets’ written and verbal responses were analyzed on the basis of content analysis. In analyzing data, constant comparative method was used. The findings reveal that the multilingual cadets have higher level of critical literacy than the monolingual student. They are more critical, able to see the text from different point of view. The cadets also give response based on their influence in language ability and their background of culture. In conclusion, to help cadets cultivating a critical competence; critical literacy learning needs to get more attention to be implemented. Keywords: Critical Literacy, Multilingual Cadets, Case Study ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi kritis taruna yang memiliki multibahasa dan mengetahui respon taruna terhadap kegiatan yang dirancang dari sudut pandang kritis mereka. Ada 3 taruna English Bites, sebuah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler peningkatan kemampuan bahasa Inggris di luar kelas di Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang dilaksanakan pada semester I Politeknik Penerbangan Sipil Surabaya tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Untuk mengumpulkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tanggapan tertulis dan lisan para taruna dianalisis berdasarkan analisis isi. Dalam menganalisis data digunakan metode konstan komparatif. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa taruna yang memiliki kemampuan 3 atau lebih bahasa memiliki tingkat literasi kritis yang lebih tinggi daripada taruna yang hanya memiliki 1 kemampuan bahasa. Mereka lebih kritis, mampu melihat teks dari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Taruna juga memberikan respon berdasarkan pengaruh mereka dalam kemampuan bahasa dan latar belakang budaya mereka. Kesimpulannya, untuk membantu taruna mengembangkan kompetensi kritis; pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi literasi kritis perlu mendapat perhatian lebih untuk diterapkan. There were 3 cadets of “English Bites”, an extracurricular activity of improving English ability outside the classroom in Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya (Civil Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya). This study was a case study conducted at the first semester of Civil Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya in 2020/ 2021 academic year. To collect the data, this study used observation, interview, and documentation. The cadets’ written and verbal responses were analyzed on the basis of content analysis. In analyzing data, constant comparative method was used. The findings reveal that the multilingual cadets have higher level of critical literacy than the monolingual student. They are more critical, able to see the text from different point of view. The cadets also give response based on their influence in language ability and their background of culture. In conclusion, to help cadets cultivating a critical competence; critical literacy learning needs to get more attention to be implemented. Dalam menganalisis data digunakan metode konstan komparatif. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa taruna yang memiliki kemampuan 3 atau lebih bahasa memiliki tingkat literasi kritis yang lebih tinggi daripada taruna yang hanya memiliki 1 kemampuan bahasa. Mereka lebih kritis, mampu melihat teks dari sudut pandang yang berbeda. Taruna juga memberikan respon berdasarkan pengaruh mereka dalam kemampuan bahasa dan latar belakang budaya mereka. Kesimpulannya, untuk membantu taruna mengembangkan kompetensi kritis; pembelajaran yang memfasilitasi literasi kritis perlu mendapat perhatian lebih untuk diterapkan. This study aims to reveal the implementation of spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy for people with mental disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation. The research on the implementation of spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in people with mental disorders was carried out using a qualitative approach with the type of field research with data collection techniques using Interview, Observation and Documentation. The results showed that first, the method of Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in dealing with people with mental disorders at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation is the group therapy method and the direct therapy method. Second, there are two stages in the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy in dealing with mental disorders patients at the Jalma Sehat Kudus Foundation, namely: (1) The preparation stage, is the stage where the supervisor assisted by nurses identifies problems, designs action plans, and solves problems. patient problems. (2) The implementation stage, namely by reading dhikr sentences such as tasbih, istigfhar, and sholawat sentences. Third, the material in Islamic spiritual guidance with dhikr therapy is an explanation of the nature of God, human duties, commendable and despicable morals, and gratitude. The implication of this research is to provide knowledge about the implementation of dhikr therapy, because dhikr based on various studies can help overcome mental disorders.
