A large class can be a problem source in learning Calculus. Peer-Assisted Reflection learning,as the solution, is a learning that combines peer analysis and self-reflection. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of Peer-Assisted Reflection learning based on Students’ opinions in Multivariable Calculus lecture. The research design used was pre-experimental with a one-shot case study design. The data obtained from questionnaire responses were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The result of this study shows that thePeer-Assisted Reflection learning help Students’s carry out activities: reflecting the result of their own work, commenting on the friend’s work, and increasing understanding of the material after revising their work. On contrary, the Peer-Assisted Reflection learning has not been able to carry out the following activities: determining concepts, understanding problems in a short time, understanding the work of colleagues, and finding doubts about the correctness of the answers.

Prosocial education is an educational program to increase motivation and skills of the student to help, care for others in need. This article is aimed at analyzing the implementation of prosocial education in the Kemuhammadiyahan subject. Using experiential learning method, students not only learn about Muhammadiyah from an organizational, historical and ideological perspective, but also experience and practice al-Ma'un theology in carrying out da'wah empowerment of the duafa family. This research design was a descriptive qualitative. The data were collected by making observations during the activity, interview, and documentary studies. This research is an ADDIE-based research and development. Data on the development process were collected using tools validated by materiel experts, design experts, student response questionnaires and teacher responses. The results of the implementation of the use of textbooks are seen from the student activity sheets and student learning outcomes, in this study using participants from class VIII students of MTs YPI Kuala Enok totaling 28 students with a random sampling technique. The results of this development research are: (1) SMP / MTs mathematics textbooks based on the APOS theory on straight line equation material are declared suitable for use in learning activities based on the validation results of material experts and design experts. Based on the results of student and teacher responses to textbooks, they are ranked very well. (2) The effectiveness of using SMP/MTs mathematics textbooks based on the APOS (Action, Process, Object, Schema) theory of straight line equation material seen from the student activity sheet can be concluded that in the process of learning student activities. In addition, on the basis of the results of all students, the criteria for completeness were achieved, an average score of 85. Thus, from the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that textbooks based on the APOS theory are effective in constructing an understanding of the concept of straight line equations.

This case study aimed to reveal how high school teachers in a municipality of Central Java as participants promoted dimension of literacy in text-based teaching in EFL classrooms because they were responsible to equip students with literacy skills in order to be smart and have critical thinking. The data were collected by recording, structured open-ended interviews, and classroom observations. Teachers whose students’ English proficiency belonged to fair tent to promote linguistic dimensions of literacy. They spent most of the teaching session by discussing elements of language such as structure or vocabulary and aims of text as an effort to promote socio cultural dimension. Teachers whose students had a good English proficiency promoted linguistic, socio cultural, cognitive and developmental dimension of literacy. The practical pedagogical implication is that teachers’ awareness of integrated particular teaching methods in the classroom is needed to promote students’ proficiency of literacy dimensions and equip students with 21st literacy skills.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the construction and content of the curriculum of Postgraduate, especially on Master Program in Islamic Religious Education at two Islamic Higher Education – private and public. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method by focusing on curriculum construction and then analyzingit using content analysis.The results of this research show that the curriculum construction of the Master Program in Islamic Religious Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim and UNISMA Malang is based on the grouping of subjects according to the demands of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework at the 8 level. The curriculum content is mainly dominant in strengthening Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). Second, Postgraduate does not provide alternative curriculum so there is no flexibility. Curriculum of the master program in Islamic Religious Education must be able to strengthen the content knowledge of Islamic education.

Communication skills need to be improved during learning. However, the learning process in schools has not fully implemented learning models that can improve students' communication skills. Learning in schools is still teacher-centered, lack of use of Information Technology (IT), students’ inactivity, and their lack of interest in learning in class. The solution is to apply the PBL learning model in IT interventions. The research objective was to develop students' communication skills. The instrument used is was a rubric to assess communication that had been validated by experts. The research design was Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. This type of research is a quasi-experimental. The data were analyzed by using the two-way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the PBL learning model and the information technology intervention on the communication skills of students with an average score of 64.27% in the experimental class and 57.70% in the control class and a significant value of 0.00

This article explores the anatomical characteristics of the Islamic Education Curriculum based on personal and community development in General Higher Education in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative study, words or actions of people observed and interviewed are the main data sources. The primary data sources of this study were elements of faculty leaders, heads of study programs, students, and lecturers of Islamic Religious Education. This study illustrates how the anatomical characteristics of Islamic Higher Education of General Islamic Education curriculum support strengthening personal and community development. The research findings show that the learning achievements of graduates, the content and teaching materials, the learning process or learning experience, and the assessment model illustrated in the curriculum structure, strongly support the development of responsibilities as individuals of Allah's servants and as Khalifah fi al-ardh. The aspect of personal development is the aspect of tathwir al-nafsi in the form of individual monotheism which includes the teaching of Islamic belief, strengthening of mahdhah and others. The aspect of tathwir al-ijetimaiy, illustrated in the strengthening of student social monotheism in the form of al-amr bi al-makruf wa al-nahy an al-mungkar, the human concept as caliph, democracy, science, technology, art, harmony, civil society, welfare, religious people, Islamic culture, Islamic political system, and democracy. The learning process is still dominated by increasing the understanding of the propositions, concepts, and theories with the teaching model of information processing. The internalization process through practice with social and humanistic teaching models still needs to be improved.

As education worldwide is now switching massively to a virtual class during the pandemic, a teacher needs to understand online learning's philosophy and principles to make sure the class can run effectively. This paper aims to examine the current situation of online learning after the Covid19 outbreak and discusses the implementation of basic concepts of online learningby utilizing Google Suite products such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Google Doc, and Google FormsAdopting the idea of a library research approach, data of this study were taken entirely from the secondary data by first searching some relevant resources in the area of online learning. The primary database used for searching the relevant resources is the e-resources of the Indonesian national library. The databases here have been connected to various reputable international databases such as ProQuest, EbscoHost, SAGE, Sciencedirect, Taylor & Francis, and many more. The data include those taken from e-books, journal papers, and scholarly articles. Taking data from these reputable resources is necessary to enhance the quality of the data collected. Among the basic concepts for effective online learning are that teachers or lecturers need to ensure the following principles considered when designing and implementing online learning: student-centered learning activities leading to self-regulated learning, interactivity, and strive for presence (in social, cognitive, and teaching aspects during learning).

Unquestionably, the rapid development of ICT has had a significant impact on various areas of human life including education in the past few decades. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to support educational activities in schools has increased significantly in several developing countries as in the case of Indonesia. The study aims to examine the attitudes of teachers of elementary schools located in all districts in West Kalimantan, one of the provinces on the Island of Kalimantan, Indonesia, towards ICT as a medium to support teaching and learning activities which includes the ease of use, effectiveness and satisfaction. This study investigates how elementary school teachers view ICT as a supporting tool for classroom learning activities and the barriers faced regarding the use of the technology in teaching and learning activities. A total of 102 elementary school teachers were involved in this investigation by acting in response to a questionnaire and 13 participants were selected voluntarily to take part in in-depth interviews about their attitudes on the use of ICT as a tool for educating activities and the barriers these teachers encountered. The findings indicate that elementary school teachers had a positive attitude towards the employment of ICT for instruction along with the various barriers they faced during teaching and learning activities.

Abstract: One of the problems in educational sector in Indonesia today is the low competence of Elementary School Islamic Religious Education teachers in their instruction. Therefore, efforts to increase their competence need to be realized. One of the efforts can be pursued through quality education and training programs. This research is aimed at producing a training model for education and teacher training provider and finding out the level of validity of the developed model in improving the competence of Elementary School Islamic Religious Education teachers. The type of the research is R & D which applies Gall and Borg development model. Data sources are training implementers at the teacher training agency of West Sumatera Regional Religious Education Center (Balai Diklat Keagamaan Wilayah Sumatera Barat) in Padang, namely: the Head of Division of Elementary School Islamic Religious Education (Kepala Bidang PAI SD), and he Head of the Sumatera Regional Religious Education and Training Center in Padang, and the PLPG Implementation Committee for Elementary School Islamic Religious Education teachers at the Tarbiyah Faculty and Teacher Training Center of IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Data were collected through observation, interview, Focused Group Discussion, and expert judgment and questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed with the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. Quantitative data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The research results showed that the education and training for teachers refers to the centralized model guide The results of the validation of the training model were 80.07% with a very valid category.
