The Occupant Protection of Vehicle Side Impact (GB20071-2006) is a compulsive and executable standard that all M1 and N1 style vehicle must obey to. Simulation for vehicle side impact is one of important test methods to study vehicle impact safety. And the model of moving deformable barrier (MDB) is the basic tool of the test. According to the requirements in regulation for the performance and test verification method of MDB, the finite element model of MDB is built and the simulation test is carried out to verify the correctness of the model. And the simulation results show the model is accurate and effective.

AOS is the important protocol framework and widely used in space protocol, especially high-speed transmission. In the data link layer, the residual function model can well solve the multiplexing efficiency. But how to determine the order of residual function becomes a new problem. In this paper a method was proposed to solve that problem in term of the precision by j order residual Poisson Model of Efficiency. Also the simulation and comparison was achieved.

In order to accomplish the self-management of the satellite network, policy is introduced into the network management and a new policy-based hierarchical distributed architecture is established in which two new policy layers called domain policy server and local policy server are added between policy enforcement point and global policy server to share the management tasks for the center management station. Furthermore, this paper defines the policy structure with XML schema and describes policy with XML. The simulation results show that the new architecture improves the efficiency of the network management.

A two-dimensional heat-transfer model for transient simulation and control of a continuous steel billet caster was developed. Billet temperature and solidification were computed by the model as a function of casting speed, secondary spray cooling water flow rates and temperature, shell thickness, steel chemistry, and pouring and ambient temperatures. Typically, the solidification path, temperature-solid fraction relationship, was prescribed. Results of several simulations are given to demonstrate the effects of changing casting conditions on the billet thermal profile, end of liquid pool, and solidification end point. A control methodology and algorithm suitable for control of a continuous casting machine is described, and the ability to control the surface temperature profile by dynamically adjusting secondary spray cooling flow rates is demonstrated by simulation. Results from a preliminary version of the model show that is capable of using in realistic caster.

This paper presented the watermarking scheme for copyright of GIS vector map based on ESRI shape file. The watermarking scheme mainly uses polyline length or polygon perimeter distribution. We embed a watermark bit to the local mean length/perimeter of a suitable group of polyline/polygon data by changing all coordinates of vertices according to the constraint of the robustness and the invisibility. Experimental results verified that the proposed scheme has the robustness against various geometric attacks.

This paper presents a new asymmetrical multilevel inverter topology. The new topology can improve the number of output voltage levels greatly and simply topology structure using a bidirectional auxiliary switch. A hybrid PWM method is proposed for the new topology that switches in different cells works in different switching frequency to low switching losses. Lastly, an experimental 11-level voltage-source inverter system is built to verify the topology and PWM control method. It is demonstrated that the experimental results agree well with simulations.

Recording and exchanging the collaborative product definition information is an important aspect of digital product collaborative development process. To resolve the problem of records the product collaborative definition information, promote the implementation and application of product collaborative development technology, MBD (Model Based Definition) driven product collaborative development technology was proposed. The essence of MBD which uses an integrated three-dimensional solid model to express the product definition information fully was analyzed. At the same time, the types of product collaborative definition information were summarized, and the three methods such as attribute expression, annotation expression, attribute add annotation co-expression were proposed to express the nongeometricproduct manufacturing information. In addition, the process of exchanging and recording product collaborative definition information with MBD technology was described.

In a internet architecture called CABO, multiple routing architectures can run on a shared physical infrastructure, which is carried out with network virtualization. This paper presents the design and evaluation of a bandwidth allocation algorithm based on multi-commodity flow problem solver integrated with a traffic predictor: linear predictor with dynamic error compensation (L-PREDEC). The basic idea of our design is that some failure in the MFP computation implies that one or more links do not have enough available capacity, which violates the linear constraints on the commodities for each link when modeling MFP. To avoid producing bottleneck links, we employed traffic predictor. On one hand, MFP solver makes better resource utilization by making use of the thin pieces of available bandwidth, by which the virtual network can accept more service requests. On the other hand, the traffic predictor adjusts the link with the largest occupation (bottleneck link) by periodically monitoring the traffic rate of a user link and adjusting the reserved bandwidth based on the prediction made from the traffic history. Then we present the results of performance comparisons of the predictor-integrated algorithm and the allocation algorithm only by Solving MFP. The comparisons are based on the mean packet delay, the variance of the packet delay, and the buffer requirements. Our performance tests show that predictor-integrated algorithm works better than the allocation algorithm only by Solving MFP in terms of the three metrics listed above.
