Developing Android Based My Science App Learning Media with a SETS Approach on The Topic of the Solar System in Elementary Schools 用set方法开发基于Android的My Science App学习媒体,以小学太阳系为主题

This study aimed to develop an android-based My Science App learning media with the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approach for elementary school students on the solar system. The subject in this study were 23 sixth-grade students of SD Negeri Salebu 03 Majenang. This type of research is Research and Development. The initial stage of the study was observing the learning media used in learning, then developing the design and producing the android-based My Science App learning media with the SETS approach. The resulting learning media can help students understand learning material. The results of the feasibility assessment of learning media by media experts obtained 93.75% with very feasible criteria, and the evaluation by content experts got 96.25% with very feasible criteria. This research produces appropriate learning media for solar system topics.
本研究旨在以科学、环境、技术和社会(set)的方法,为小学生开发一款基于android的My Science App学习媒体。本研究以SD Negeri Salebu 03 Majenang的23名六年级学生为研究对象。这种类型的研究是研究和发展。研究的初始阶段是观察学习中使用的学习媒体,然后采用SETS方法开发设计和制作基于android的My Science App学习媒体。由此产生的学习媒体可以帮助学生理解学习材料。媒体专家对学习媒体的可行性评估结果达到93.75%,评估标准非常可行;内容专家对学习媒体的评估结果达到96.25%,评估标准非常可行。本研究为太阳系课题提供了合适的学习媒介。

Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran IPA Berbasis Articulate Storyline Pada Materi Cahaya dan Alat Optik 基于光和光学材料的多媒体学习艺术故事线的发展

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran dan tingkat kelayakan dari multimedia tersebut. Tingkat kelayakan multimedia berbasis articulate storyline dinilai dari tingkat kevalidan, keefektifan dan kepraktisan multimedia saat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian research and development yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation). Implementasi dilakukan dengan uji coba terbatas pada 15 peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Konawe Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik wawancara, checklist dan tes, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi multimedia, lembar angket respon peserta didik dan guru, serta tes penguasaan konsep yang divalidasi oleh 3 ahli multimedia. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan produk multimedia berbasis articulate storyline, multimedia yang dihasilkan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kelayakan multimedia pembelajaran diperoleh dari: (1) kevalidan multimedia pembelajaran diperoleh dengan kategori valid, dengan nilai rata-rata 0,80. (2) keefektifan multimedia diperoleh dari peningkatan penguasaan konsep peserta didik dengan nilai rata-rata postes 73,2 dan diperoleh nila rata-rata n-gain 0,48 dengan kategori sedang. (3) kepraktisan multimedia diperoleh dari angket respon peserta didik dan guru, hasil penilaian angket respon guru diperoleh nilai persentase 95% sedangkan angket respon peserta didik diperoleh nilai persentase 77,12%.
本研究的目的是了解如何开发多媒体学习和多媒体价值水平。基于人工故事线的多媒体可行性是基于多媒体在学习过程中使用时的有效性和实用性水平。本研究采用ADDIE模型开发的研究类型。实施时,国中八年级学生中只有15名在科纳韦南部进行试验。本研究使用的数据收集技术包括面试、检查表和测试,而使用的工具有多媒体验证表、学习者和教师响应表,以及由三名多媒体专家验证的概念掌握测试。研究结果是一种基于人工故事线的多媒体产品,其多媒体产品可以在学习过程中使用。多媒体学习价值来源:(1)多学习有效性,平均成绩为0.80。(2)多媒体学习的有效性来自于对学生的平均成绩为73.2的学生的概念掌握的增加,以及平均成绩为中级的n增益0.48。(3)多媒体的实实性来自学习者和教师的反应,教师反应成绩为95%,学生反应成绩为77.12%。

Analisis Kemampuan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik SMAN 5 Kendari Berdasarkan Instrumen NOSLiT (Nature Of Science Literacy Test)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik SMA Negeri 5 Kendari berdasarkan instrumen nature of science literacy test (NOSLiT) Kota Kendari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yaitu penelitian yang memperoleh data dari sampel populasi penelitian yang dianalisis sesuai dengan metode statistik yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan secara sistematis tentang fakta dan karakter dari populasi tertentu. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik wawancara dan angket/koesioner. Subyek dalam penelitian ini ada 152 peserta didik yang terdiri dari kelas X, XI, dan XII. Data dianalisis dengan deskriptif presentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik SMA Negeri 5 Kendari kelas X, XI, dan XII masing-masing sebesar 37,7%, 39,4%, dan 45,3% secara umum berada pada kategori sangat rendah. Untuk hasil kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X, XI, dan XII SMA Negeri 5 Kendari indikator penamaan ilmiah adalah 47,8%, 49,8%, 55,8% pada indikator kemampuan keterampilan proses senilai 38,7%, 42,8%, 51,5% dan indikator kaidah pembuktian ilmiah adalah 40,5%, 41,1%, 45,9 kemudian pada indikator postulat sains senilai 25,3%, 22,4%, 30,2% kemudian indikator watak ilmiah adalah 32,6%, 36,7%, 38,5% dan indikator miskonsepsi utama adalah 41,1%, 43,7%, dan 50%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik SMA Negeri 5 Kendari masih sangat rendah.

Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan Model Problem Based Learning pada Materi Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke untuk Peserta Didik SMA/MA Kelas XI

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan kegiatan pembelajaran yang masih menggunakan metode ceramah dengan sumber utama yang digunakan adalah buku paket dan LKPD. Namun, LKPD yang digunakan ini adalah LKPD dari cetakan penerbit yang sifatnya umum, dimana LKPD hanya berisi ringkasan materi dan latihan soal-soal yang kurang bervariasi dan kurang mampu membuat peserta didik menemukan konsep sendiri terutama pada materi elastisitas dan hukum hooke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD dengan model problem based learning yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (research and development) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap pendefenisian (define), tahap perencanaan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Subjek penelitian  adalah peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Loghia Kelas XI MIPA 1 dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang untuk uji terbatas. Kevalidan LKPD dilihat dari penilaian 3 orang validator dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi. Kepraktisan LKPD ditulis dari penilaian respons guru dan peserta didik dengan menggunakan kuisioner respons guru dan kuisioner respons peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan LKPD dengan model problem based learning yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan layak dengan kevalidan sebesar 0,83 dengan kategori validitas sangat baik. Hasil kepraktisan LKPD dari rata-rata yang diperoleh dari respons guru sebesar 4,42 dan respons peserta didik sebesar 85,8% dengan kategori sangat baik.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E Berbantuan Physics Education Technology (PhET) Simulation untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik di SMAN 2 Pasarwajo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E berbantuan PhET simulation untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik pada materi usaha dan energi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen  menggunakan non eqivalent control group design. Objek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik SMAN 2 Pasarwajo kelas X MIA 1 pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, tes literasi sains dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil analisis pencapaian kompetensi literasi sains peserta didik tertinggi adalah pada kompetensi menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah (K1) sementara kompetensi mengevaluasi dan desain inkuiri ilmiah (K2) dan interpretasi data dan bukti ilmiah (K3) pencapaiannya masih berada pada 50%. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata melalui uji-t. Hasil pencapaian ini kemudian dilakukannya uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji normalitas terdistribusi normal dengan taraf signifikan (α=0,05) 95%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa model learning cycle 7E berbantuan PhET Simulation layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi sains peserta didik SMA.

The Development of STEM-Based Science Teaching Materials on Simple Electrical Circuit Materials 基于stem的《简单电路材料》科学教材的开发

This study aims to create STEM-based science teaching materials based on simple electrical circuits and determine the feasibility of STEM-based teaching materials. Research and development of the Dick & Carey model is the type of research used. The research process comprises four stages: needs analysis, product design, validation and evaluation, and testing. Material experts, presentation experts, linguists, and graphic experts are all involved in expert validation. Teachers who teach science subjects participate in the product feasibility test. Individual, small group, and field trials assess students’ readability. Expert validation revealed that the content aspect was 97.7 % with a very decent category, the presentation aspect was 97.7% with a very proper category, the language aspect was 85% with a very decent category, and the visual aspect was 80 percent with a worthy category. The science teacher’s feasibility test results showed that the content aspect was 90 % with an excellent category, the presentation aspect was 98.6% with an outstanding category, and the language aspect was 96.7% with a superior category. Students’ readability test results showed an average score of 87.7% in the excellent category. Based on the validation and legibility trials findings, developing STEM-based science teaching materials (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) on simple electrical circuit materials is feasible. It can be used as a learning resource.

This paper aims to stimulate a teaching and learning reflection for Indonesian IGCSE physics classrooms through a recent booming and recreational game of Newtonian yoyo called lato-lato. As physics is one of the critical and complex subjects in secondary school, it establishes a struggle for students to comprehend the concept of physics. The 21st-century physics education learning aims to promote high-end reasoning and deep understanding. Contextual physic learning will support this mission to reach maximum attainment for students. Physics through contextual knowledge will be more feasible for students. The recent phenomenon of lato-lato encounters a new interest for students. Lato-lato as a demonstrator and contextual example will be a resourceful material for several concepts of Newtonian mechanics, for instance: collision and energy. In addition, lato-lato may provide an advanced idea of circular motion, momentum, and impulse, oscillation. Lato-lato involvement may bring a chance for IGCSE curriculum adjustment in mechanics topics to become a significant pre-learning process. By using the adjusted curriculum, students are more likely to reach their maximum attainment and conceptual understanding of mechanics because students feel interested and encouraged to learn through a problem-solving and real-world setup. Lato-lato (Newtonian Yoyo) phenomenon may solve students’ learning difficulties in IGCSE physics through a conceptual phenomenon.

At this time, the assessment and measurement of the concept’s level of understanding are considered less effective. This is due to the use of conventional media. With this in mind, researchers are interested in conducting research on developing assessments and measuring the understanding of concepts using web media. Web of the comprehension level test will be automatically stored in real-time on the system so that educators can process the data on the results of the misconception test and can also be seen by students as the results of the comprehension level test. This study aims to develop a web diagnostic test and identify students’ misconceptions about effort and energy as the subject matter. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The results obtained from this study were that the responses given by users showed good results. This means that the media used to measure student misconceptions is interactive enough to be used as a support in the learning process.

Study on Collaborative Creativity Learning Models and Gender on Students' Creative Thinking Skills 协同创造学习模式与性别对学生创造性思维能力的影响研究

This study aims to determine the effect of the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model on students’ creative thinking skills on simple harmonic vibration material. We also examine the different responses by gender. This quantitative study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample used in this study was grade 10th, consisting of 32 students as the experimental class, and 30 as a control class. The research instrument used was a test of creative thinking skills. The results showed the average N-gain in the experimental class was 0.73 with a very high interpretation, and the control class was 0.32 with a moderate. The results of hypothesis testing using the two-way ANOVA test show a sig < 0.05, which means that the learning model influences students’ creative thinking skills. In addition, the CC learning model was also comfort to use by gender which statistical analysis prove the sig > 0.05, which means that there is no gender effect on students’ creative thinking skills. Thus the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model can be used as an alternative to improve students’ creative thinking skills on simple harmonic vibration material.

Predict-Observe-Explain Learning Model Assisted by “Educandy” Games to Improve Students’ Conceptual Understanding “Educandy”游戏辅助下的预测-观察-解释学习模式提高学生概念理解

A good understanding of concepts is needed to prevent students from misunderstanding. One effort that can be done is to apply the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model with the help of the Educandy educational game. This study aims to measure the effect of applying the POE learning model with the help of Educandy educational game application to increase students’ conceptual understanding of temperature and heat subjects. This study was quasi-experimental design research, using the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was 128 junior high schools students of SMPN 25 Pekanbaru (Class VII.I-Class VII.4). The first class, VII.1, was used as the experimental class, the third class, VII.3, was used as the control class, while the other class was the generalization classes. Research instrument of pretest and post-test containing 28 questions was used. The result was processed by descriptive and interferential techniques using T-test. The data processing technique used was descriptive and inferential, using the t-test for N-gain as an evaluation method. The results of this study indicated that conceptual understanding in both classes had increased, but the average value of students’ conceptual understanding in the experimental class was higher than that in the control class. It was described on the data N-gain as 0.7 in the experiment and 0.3 in the control class. The results of the t-test show that the POE learning model assisted by educational games based on the Educandy application can significantly improve students’ understanding of concepts.
