The linkage between tradition and innovation involves specificities and different degrees of complexity, depending on the entrepreneurial activity and economic sector. The paper adopts an institutionalist approach to study the relation between tradition and innovation through the discussion of a specific case: the introduction of innovations in cork production and transformation in a Portuguese territory: Coruche.

The explorative study on the effect of internal marketing mix on the involvement of internal customer with a metaphor mix using projective technique was an innovative research. Internal Marketing influencers such as vision, development, reward, empowerment and internal communication on internal customers’ services support, brand partnership and corporate ownership have been studied for its strength of relationships. The components of IM Mix have been matched with the giant metaphor mix such as the balance, journey, transformation, connection, container, resources and control. The study areas have been maintained as healthcare, banking and educational services. The findings of the study have given scope for improving the existing scale for measuring IM Mix for services.

Aquarium business service is an unexplored area of research, from the prospective of customer value. The research question has been posed to explore the service encounter of hobbyist, children, business person, youngsters and other segments of aquarium users. The purpose of the study is to map the aquarist reaction against aquarium user’s actions and to trace the interactions of interfaces in promoting aquarium related artifacts. The study has been designed with triangulation of brainstorming, expert-depth interview, real-time observation, focused-depth interview (real-time fish exhibition) using Human Activity Modeling (HAM). The qualitative data for applying grounded theory have been collected and processed with QSR NVivo software. The customer value constellation map depicted five different unique customer values viz., planted-design, pet-companion, prosperity/evil-protection aesthetic, exotic-marine and up-gradation. The service design requirement has been identified with hobbyist, children, business person, youngsters and other segments of aquarium users.

In current scenario Mass tourism or Beach tourism or Costal tourism occupies more percentage of recreational tourism while ecotourism contributes less percentage which can be overcome by innovation in ecotourism like Estuary Mouth Tourism [EMT] and Small Island Tourism [SIT] in the form of cooperative tourism management. This study is conducted at Porto Novo-Vellar Estuary to assess the awareness and preferences of tourist in addition to the Mangrove Boating Tourism [MBT]. Data are collected from 35 students at the post graduate and doctoral level in the University using sixteen pictorial profiles of tourism packages combining all alternative tourism packages and 35 tourist respondents who visited the destination about the strength and opportunities of the destination. Conjoint analysis and SWOT analysis are applied for the study. Since floating market contributes a lot to Thailand’s economy. Implementation of cooperative ecotourism, with innovations at this estuary can contribute to economic growth.

In this study, researcher attempted to study the association of the Demographic and Investor profile of investors with the one of the important psychological variable financial risk tolerance using chi square test. Further by using the correspondence analysis/crosstabs, researcher attempted to gain more insight in to the association. Finally the extent of influence of the Demographic and investor profile variables on the Financial risk tolerance cluster was studied using the canonical correlation. The research design followed in this study is the descriptive research design. Using the Multi stage random sampling technique, the primary data for the study was collected from 470 respondents (investors) in the State of Tamilnadu, India. The results of this study confirmed that there exists significant association between all the Demographic and Investor profile variables with the financial risk tolerance. Also the results further revealed that variables such as gender, age, marital status, type of family, dependents, religion, occupation, number of earning members and amount spent for recreation/entertainment exert significantly strong influence on the financial risk tolerance cluster.

It is argued that land reform, consisting on the transformation of latifundia to mesofundia or microfundia , can be welfare improving, from a Rawlsian point of view, as it generates a superior situation, in terms of equity. Having this in mind, this (short) paper intends to be an empirical investigation of the possession rights and, in particular the agricultural holdings, of the land, differentiated by gender. This unveils that, even if land reform is put in practice, it generally remains a problem of inequality, in terms of land rights (ownership and/or holding), by gender.
