Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is shaking the world. This massive event triggered by infectious disease is beyond the predictions of many people, even practitioners, and experts in the field of crisis management. Now all sectors are affected, including the world of Education. Academic leaders respond by moving their educational activities and those related online. The decision to pivot into distance learning is made quickly. This research focuses on highlighting how the headmaster's leadership in carrying out crisis management in the Islamic School of Al-Azhar Cairo Yogyakarta by going through the stages, namely 1) Before the Crisis, 2) During the Crisis, 3) After the Crisis. This research uses a qualitative method with the type of case study. The results showed that Before the Crisis stage was carried out by implementing the Covid-19 Prevention Literacy policy. The stages during the crisis are carried out with (a) Health Talk, (b) Learning from Home Policy, and (c) Video and Podcast Challenge. After the crisis phase, the principal develops a collaborative approach to leadership, evaluating, and controlling the various effects of the crisis to prevent future crises. Crisis management is needed so that schools can be better prepared to deal with crises and reduce their impact so that the learning process and managerial activities can continue to run productively.

This study aims to describe the opportunities for the formation and initiation of the concept of inclusive Dayah management as an alternative education for Aceh blind children. Public education institutions in Aceh have facilitated the needs of many blind children, but Islamic-based educational institutions specifically do not yet have institutions that facilitate their needs. This research is a type of library research using an educational institution management approach. The results of the study showed that the Establishment of Inclusive Dayah was supported by the Aceh government policy system by establishing the Provincial and District/City Dayah Education Office, and enacting the Aceh Qanun Number 11 of 2014 on the Implementation of Aceh's Education and Law Number 20 of 2003 on the National Education System. Management of Inclusive Dayah for blind children can be carried out with the Special Inclusive Dayah Model, Visiting Class Inclusive Dayah, and Special Class Inclusive Dayah. Inclusive Dayah is an education service system that provides opportunities for school-age children with disabilities, especially children with visual impairment who are in the territory of Aceh Province by paying attention to diversity and individual needs. The potential of children with visual impairment can develop optimally in science along with the priority on Islamic religious education.

Gerakan Sekolah Menyenangkan (GSM) i.e Enjoyable School Movement, actively participates in the creation of an adaptive educational culture with changing times. This research aims to analyze GSM management in Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) i.e Character Building Affirmation in Buayan 1 Kebumen Elementary School. This is descriptive-qualitative research. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that GSM management in Buayan 1 Kebumen Elementary School uses the following functions: 1) Planning with carefully in elaborating GSM principles by school resources; 2) Organizing, with the formation of work divisions explained in detail according to authority and duties; 3) Implementation through the establishment of a 'learning environment' which provides physical and emotional development space for students; 4) Supervision by analyzing strengths, weaknesses, supporting and inhibiting factors for future program improvement references. GSM has become the right program to be developed as a solution to the imbalance in the quality of education so far through grassroots transformation.

The managerial expertise possessed by school principal, such as the ability to lead, to actuate, to plan and to interact with his/her subordinates is a major factor in achieving the success of the planned programs. School principals should be able to develop a high level of cooperation and work ethic among their subordinates. This article aims to analyse the types of school principal’s managerial expertise and the work ethihc of the teaching staff at State Senior High School 2 Lhoknga, Aceh Besar. The qualitative data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The result shows that the managerial expertises of the principal of State Senior High School 2 Lhoknga includes skills as educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader and motivator. The implementation of the expertise went well in accordance with the existing duties, from the planning to the evaluation process. However, the work ethic of the teaching staff has not been running optimally due to two factors, i.e., (1) internal factor which relates to cultural diversity and various; educational-economy-social background; and (2)External factor which relates to wages, work climate, inculcation of attitudes, and time owned by the educational staff.

This research was conducted to study the management of assets in Islamic educational institutions. Financial assets and human resources management are the key component needs to be managed professionally in order to produce qualified educational output in PPPA Daarul Qur'an, Yogyakarta branch. This is a descriptive qualitative research in which data were collected through interviews, documentation and observations. The results showed that: 1) wealth management of PPPA Daarul Qur'an Yogyakarta branch is carried out using the systemic-communicative concept. 2) analysed by Robert T. Kiyosaki quadrant, Non-human asset management in the form of fund management can be categorised as Sd (Student Donation) which comes from donors; Business that comes from the businesses owned by Daarul Qur'an; and Gd (Government and private donation) derived from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of several companies. The management was conducted through the principle of transparency, public accountability, efficiency and effectiveness. While human resource management refers to operational functions in the form of procurement, development, integration, maintenance, and separation. The implementation of wealth management can improve the quality of asset management in Islamic educational institutions.
本研究旨在研究伊斯兰教育机构的资产管理。财务资产和人力资源管理是PPPA Daarul quuran日惹分公司需要专业管理的关键组成部分,以产生合格的教育产出。这是一项描述性质的研究,通过访谈、文献和观察收集数据。结果表明:1)PPPA达鲁古兰经日惹分行的财富管理采用了系统沟通的理念。2) Robert T. People views on the role of education in pesantren has shifted over years. Previously, people thought that pesantren education was the second class. However, the profile of pesantren alumni and their contribution in various aspects of leadership in societies has proven that pesantren education contribute to nation development. People believe that pesantren is not an alternative education institution, but the major education provider to graduate well qualified human resources with leadership skill, as well as mastering both emotional and spiritual intelligent (ESQ). Besides essential to improve human development index of a country, ESQ is a pivotal element for a leader. This is in line with the argument of this paper that pesantren education even in this globalized era is able to produce the prospective leaders rich with relevant skills and intellectuality as well as deep understanding of kitab kuning (yellow book) as the classical Islamic intellectual literature and tailor it with modern science and technology. In turn, pesantren is able to groom well qualified, dignified, and have strong morality of prospective leaders in the globalized era.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of e-learning policies at IAIN Kendari. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the data was collected through observation at the online page of https://elearning.iainkendari.ac.id, interviews and documentation. The results of PIECES analysis calculations in the application of e-learning are seen from several aspects, including: performance, information, economy, control and services are in the category of important with the value of 3.46%, 3.82%, 3.77%, 3.85% and 3.88% respectively. Regarding the aspect of efficiency, the value is 4.28% within the category Very Important. Whereas, the implementation of e-learning learning policies using Edward's theory was investigated from four aspects, namely: 1) communication that was conducted through the socialization of e-learning workshops; 2) resources including human/technician resources that were still very lacking as well as infrastructure with the addition of 80 Mbps bandwidth to five faculties, rectorates, libraries and postgraduate programs; 3) dispositions were given to the policy users, namely lecturers who were still less motivated in using e-learning, and 4) bureaucratic structure related to operational standards procedures that was designed in the form of e-learning guidebooks. The result found that e-learning implementation was in the category of important in the aspect of performance, information, economics, control and service, and in the category of very important in the aspect of efficiency. E-learning system at IAIN Kendari is acceptable for all academic civity, however they need personal motivation to implement and utilize it for classroom learning supported by speed internet access.

This research focused on the experience of Muhammadiyah Junior High School I (SMP 1) in Depok Sleman Yogyakarta in improving students trust and choice to study in the institution through an education marketing strategy. How the strategy of marketing is developed and work for educational services and its implementation is highlighted in this study. Using a qualitative research this paper utilizes the marketing strategy theory approach to educational services. The data were collected through: (1) observation, (2) documentation, and (3) in-depth interviews with school principals, public relations staff, student affairs, parents and students. It was validated by using source and technical triangulation technique in a qualitative research. The results of the study indicated that: First, the marketing strategy of educational services in improving the educational services in SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Depok, involves: (1) internal, (2) external, and (3) interactive marketing strategies. Second, the implementation of marketing strategies in improving education services in SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Depok covers: (1) implementing market selection strategies by segmenting the market, targeting and positioning. (2) establishing the marketing mix by applying quality products from this junior high school, highlighting its geographical location, applying competitive prices, and carrying out promotional steps. Third, the supporting and inhibiting factors of the marketing strategy in the school were summarized in the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis.
本研究以日惹Depok Sleman Muhammadiyah Junior High School I (SMP 1)为研究对象,透过教育行销策略改善学生对学校的信任与选择。营销策略是如何发展和工作的教育服务和它的实施是本研究的重点。本文采用定性研究的方法,运用营销策略理论对教育服务进行研究。数据的收集方法有:(1)观察;(2)文献;(3)与学校校长、公关人员、学生事务处、家长和学生进行深度访谈。在定性研究中采用源三角法和技术三角法对其进行了验证。研究结果表明:第一,教育服务营销策略在改善Muhammadiyah Depok中学教育服务中的作用包括:(1)内部营销策略、(2)外部营销策略和(3)互动营销策略。第二,SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Depok改善教育服务的营销策略的实施包括:(1)通过细分市场、目标和定位实施市场选择策略。(2)利用该初中的优质产品,突出其地理位置,采用有竞争力的价格,并进行促销步骤,建立营销组合。第三,通过SWOT分析,总结出学校营销战略的支持因素和抑制因素。

Second, the implementation of marketing strategies in improving education services in SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Depok covers: (1) implementing market selection strategies by segmenting the market, targeting and positioning. (2) establishing the marketing mix by applying quality products from this junior high school, highlighting its geographical location, applying competitive prices, and carrying out promotional steps. This paper discusses the characteristics of transformational leadership in Islamic Elementery School (MI). It focuses on how the basic concepts of this kind of leadership are relevant to the 21st century education vision, on the what are the essential steps of a transformational leader on investigaties the strengths and weaknesses of transformational leadership in developing the quality of human resources in managing a school. This research used a qualitative approach with the main data of a literary study. The results of this research indicate that (1) the characteristic of transformational leadership through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intelectual stimulation, and individual consideration (4I) are relevant to the vision of 21st century education. The characteristics are built in the form of life and career skills, learning and innovation skills, information, media, and technological skills, (2) the steps for a transformational leader to face the vision of 21st century education are described in the concept of 4I which is combined with 4C (critical thinking and problem solving, creativity and innovation, communication, and collaboration) towards 3 vision of education in the 21st century, and (3) the advantages of transformational leadership are in cost savings, high commitment, actualization of the potential human resources, and interpersonal communication, while the weaknesses are that it requires a relatively longer time, uneven empowerment, needs intense attention, and is difficult to apply to members in the number of units.

This research aims to examine the concept of Sadd adz-Dzarâi and its implementation toward the concept of Islamic Education Management. This research would be beneficial to enrich scientific discussion on how to marry the concept of Islamic education management interact with Sadd adz-dzarâi, a concept in Ushul Fiqh. Using library research, this paper investigates ushul fiqh books and Islamic education management books to examine ushul fiqh’s concept and its implementation toward education management. This study found that the two concepts is compatible to certain extent as both concern on anticipating the possibility of losses in Islamic education institutions in the future.
