The aim of this study was to explore the issues, realities and challenges regarding the provision of special needs education in Matabeleland North Province of Zimbabwe. Inclusive Education Provision is making sure that teaching and the curriculum, school buildings, classrooms, play areas, transport and toilets are appropriate for all children at all levels. The literature pointed on limited resources, including funding, specialized staff, assistive technologies and accessible facilities as in existence in rural schools. Teachers’ preparedness has been put to question in Matabeleland schools as they seem to lack the necessary training to effectively teach students with diverse needs in their schools. The research was exploratory as no attempts were made to establish causal relationships and guided by the qualitative approach. A case study design was used to collect, present and analyse data. The population included purposively selected special schools and schools with special classes, resource units, integrated classes and inclusive classes in Matabeleland North Province. Purposive sampling was preferred and representative sample composed of ten school heads, five specialist teachers and ten parents. Open-ended questionnaires and structured interviews were used to collect and gather data respectively. The study concluded that schools have made attempts in enhancing inclusive education provisions in Matabeleland North Province, although it is important to note that there are still challenges and areas for improvement. For successful inclusion, it was concluded that the Provincial Education Office requires a comprehensive approach that involves addressing attitudinal barriers, providing adequate resources and training, promoting collaboration and ensuring accessible environments as there is no commitment to continuous improvement and on-going dialogue among all stakeholders involved in the education of students with special educational needs. The study recommended that schools need to foster an inclusive school culture that values diversity, inclusivity and respect for all students without discriminating them. It was also recommended that schools need to involve parents and the community in the inclusive education processes.

This study investigates the impact of domestic violence on women’s mental health and explores coping strategies employed by survivors in Mexico City. Through surveys and interviews, demographic characteristics, incidence, types of domestic violence, mental health effects, and coping strategies were examined. Findings reveal pervasive mental health issues among survivors, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Coping strategies include seeking social support, safety planning, and accessing support services. Implications for mental health services and policy are discussed, highlighting the need for trauma-informed care and targeted interventions.

Tribes are generally backward, economically as well as educationally. The situation is not uniform in all the parts of India. In the north-east, the situation has been disturbed for several years, whereas in the mainland (central India) problems related to poverty, unemployment, indebtedness, backwardness and ignorance are acute. The tribes of the northeast have a high level of politicization, literacy and a high standard of living compared to their counterparts in other parts. The tribes were alienated from their own lands. The landlords and moneylenders of the plains gradually replaced the tribal landowners. This article describes the problems faced by the people in the tribal community of Indian society.

Amidst an era of rapid technological advancements and privacy concerns, this paper examines the nuanced views of young adults on the deployment and implications of FRT. Utilizing a combination of surveys, focus groups, and interviews, the research delves into students’ awareness, acceptance, and apprehension towards FRT. It highlights a complex interplay of recognizing FRT’s benefits in security and convenience against significant privacy concerns and potential misuse. The findings indicate a cautiously optimistic attitude towards FRT with a strong call for balanced development, robust legal frameworks, and ethical considerations in technology deployment. The “patriarchy” that has developed throughout Korean history, and human civilization as a whole, has lasted for millennia. This systematic, structured and unjust system of male domination over women has conferred a higher status, value and privilege on men. These institutions and behaviours form the conceptual framework of sexism, and at the heart of patriarchy is the maintenance and rationalisation of male privilege and power. Several of Park Chan-wook’s highly representative women’s films in recent years have stood up to observe society from a woman’s point of view, creating a new image of women. This essay takes director Table Chan-wook’s latest work, The Resolution to Break up, as an example, and discusses the image of women in Park Chan-wook’s films. Park Zan- wook creates a special and tense female image with the highly contrasting character of Song Seo-rae. Furthermore, he uses this unique female figure as a leading narrative to create a film that highly combines romance, thriller and suspense. As well as the main character Song Seo-rae, a typical oriental woman, she shows the consciousness of women’s self-awareness in modern society, facing up to her emotions and making choices in her relationships, who is no longer a traditional female figure who can be swayed by her emotions.

Planning in India has its history since pre independence days. Since 1950-51, India has been engaged in the world’s largest and most comprehensive experiment in democratic planning. Planning on such a gigantic scale is obviously more than an economic process. It is a total national effort and commitment which includes political leaders at all levels, the administration and the people of the country, as well as those specifically entrusted with the task of economic planning and development. In Himachal Pradesh, the planning machinery was set up in 1972 under the centrally sponsored scheme of strengthening of state planning machinery. In the State Planning machinery in Himachal Pradesh is the existence of State Planning Board and State Planning Department. State Planning Board is an advisory or policy making body and State Planning Department is executive body at the state level planning. Since 1950-51, India has been engaged in the world’s largest and most comprehensive experiment in democratic planning. Planning on such a gigantic scale is obviously more than an economic process. It is a total national effort and commitment which includes political leaders at all levels, the administration and the people of the country, as well as those specifically entrusted with the task of economic planning and development. In Himachal Pradesh, the planning machinery was set up in 1972 under the centrally sponsored scheme of strengthening of state planning machinery. In the State Planning machinery in Himachal Pradesh is the existence of State Planning Board and State Planning Department. State Planning Board is an advisory or policy making body and State Planning Department is executive body at the state level planning.
