EnglishWe describe a flipped class proposal in the Teacher in Physical Education of the Universidad Nacional of Rio Cuarto, Argentina. The experience was designed and implemented using the social network Facebook and the selection of short videos, it was carried out in two groups with different teachers. The perceptions and suggestions on the flipped class model were recovered with an ad hoc questionnaire of closed and open questions, frequencies of exchanges, publications and comments on Facebook were also analyzed. The results show highly positive aspects such as the autonomy of the students, the guiding role and facilitator of the teacher. It is concluded that the planning of flipped classes and the sustained accompaniment to promote self-regulation in students is important.

In exploring themes from the focus groups, content analysis was applied that consisted in three reviewers: transcribing the recorded interviews from the focus groups, reviewing the transcriptions to assign codes for exploring themes, and comparing and confirming codes and themes identified. Findings: The principal themes identified through the focus groups were: active role and mode of participation of the student, key concepts of impact of Activate Ya (tobacco and physical activity), key concepts of health

A pilot study has been carried out, on the muscular groups involved in roll tacking, in two optimist dinghy sailors of different age and experience. The purpose was to elaborate suggestions for a training plan. Trials have been carried out in a swimming pool, where it was possible to measure the activation of seven muscles during the entire maneuver, by means of electromyographic technique. It has been possible to describe different temporal patterns and activation peaks. Patterns were affected by the subject age and by the wind conditions. We suggested that training should be focused to prevent possible lumbar injuries and help them in their technique.

The practice of intense and/or prolonged exercise is linked with loss of water and electrolytes through sweat. The purpose of this work is to describe, based on the review of the scientific literature, the effect of dehydration on health and performance, and analyze the efficacy of the composition of sports drinks in the rehydration of the athlete.

This research aims to generate a first approach in Uruguay regarding the introduction of mindfulness(MF) in school physical education (EFE). On the one hand, data from scientific research and pertinentbibliography regarding MF programs and their benefits in primary education were analyzed; andon the other hand, the knowledge and possible applications of the MF in the EFE in the departmentof Maldonado, collecting data through an interview-survey of 30 teachers. 20% knew the conceptof MF, 10% of EFE teachers applied the MF in their classes, 80% of teachers who did not know theMF perceive their application in the EFE as possible, and all of the EFE teachers use at least four ofthe six techniques established in the survey that could be applied by the MF. In conclusion, the MFis seen as a possible and promising method to be applied in the EFE, although there is a need forresearch on its application and benefits in the EFE in the department of Maldonado.
