"Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) now reach the third phase concerning efficiency. The first devices are based on pure organic materials, and the second and third generations are based on combinations between metals and organic ligands in so- called organometallics for which their emission external quantum efficiency is increased. The second generation is now widely used in large displays reaching high efficiency because of the spin-orbit coupling between metal and their ligands, which induces intersystem crossing processes. The third generation of OLED comprises an increased external quantum efficiency obtained by adequately choosing the ligands, reaching a theoretical value of 100%. These OLEDs will be briefly described with their advantages and the technologies necessary for next-generation displays."

The study brings to the fore a reality expressed by the well-known phrase ”From Farm to Fork”, describing as a new concept the synergy of scientific, managerial abd operational integration at production and processing level between agriculture (with all its fields) and gastronomy (with all its nuances its). The notion of agri-gastronomy is analyzed, to which, beyond definition, the multi-integrated (integronic) polyvalence of the two fields of activity is complemented. The work highlights the paradigmatic overlap of the two branches:”agriculture”, i.e. the production of products of vegetable and animal origin, as raw materials necessary for ”gastronomy” in high-quality culinary production. The objective is the awareness necessary to optimize the production, processing and consumption of food products from agriculture, with an emphasis on quality, taste and traditional know-how. The pragmatic solutions generated by this concept aim at qualitative emergence, as well as encouraging collaboration between producers, processors and restaurateurs, in order to offer consumers authentic and tasty culinary experiences, while contributing to the economic and social development of the local community and the territorial area in question.

"In this scientific work are presented a part of the results included in the thesis entitled "Contributions to the study of heavy polluting elements from the environment by atomic spectrometry" which includes the innovative contributions to the study of the distribution of heavy metals in acacia leaves collected from Dâmbovița county and neighboring counties and the distribution of heavy metals from surface and deep soil collected from the main oil parks in Dâmbovița county. In the analysis of heavy metal concentrations in the studied samples, the spectrometric techniques were used: Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (EDXRF), which were successfully optimized and provided valuable information used in following studies, to assess degree of heavy metal pollution of the environment. These methods were used in a complementary way with the biomonitoring technique in order to have as complete information as possible of the elemental composition of the analyzed samples."

"In a Schrödinger-type and Madelung-type scenarios for the description of complex economics system dynamics, SL(2R) symmetries are highlighted. The emergence of such symmetries has several consequences: the existence of analogic-type behavior as a gauge invariance of Riccati type as well as the existence of digital-type behavior through the spontaneous symmetry breaking of the same gauge invariance. When said symmetries are discussed in the context of economics dynamics, the individual reaction to market signals can be associated to period doubling and modulated dynamics (i.e. to the digital signals) while, the behaviors of large investors and of the State, through banking or monetary policies, can associated to the “complex economics system background” (i.e. analogical signals). Moreover, the markets have a fractal/multi-fractal structure on the long term, being characterized by a “self-memory”. The economic structures emphasize fluctuations but, they never reach the chaos state. Thus, a holographic approach on complex economics system dynamics (and, on economics complex economics systems) provides a valid and more natural perspective, compared to the standard approaches. Our research provides a qualitative insight of economics complex system dynamics, remaining a more rigorous study which reveals a quantitative analysis of financial fractal bubbles to be done in further research."

The vegetation of the saline soils (Solonceacuri, Soloneturi and Solodii) in Romania is represented by permanent grasslands and occupies approximately 300,000 hectares from the Black Sea coast to some low plains with groundwater on the surface. Habitat 1310, Salicornia and other annuals colonizing mud and sand represented by the Salicornion prostratae alliance, has a pastoral value (PV) of 3.9 and green mass production (GMP) of barely 0.36 t/ha and Habitat 1410, Mediterranean salt meadows ( Juncetalia maritimi) with 5.5 PV and 0.45 t/ha GMP, both are assessed as degraded form forage quality point of view. Habitat 1530, Pannonic salt-steppes and salt marshes comprises 5 alliances (Cypero-Spergularion, Puccinellion limosae, Junciongerardii, Beckmanione ruciformis and Festucion pseudovinae) with 30.9 PV and 3.85 t/ha GMP, which allows an optimal loading of 0.37 LU/ha in 160 days, 10 times higher than at H 1310 and H 1410. Respecting the optimal grazing capacity is necessary to preserve the biodiversity of these grasslands.

Vrancea is one of the few seismic sources on the Globe that generates major earthquakes (7 to 8 magnitude) at intermediate depth (60 – 180 km) in a very confined seismogenic volume (seismic nest). Understanding how these earthquakes are generated is of wide interest both scientifically and considering the major impact of these earthquakes in Romania and neighbouring countries. The present paper is an overview of what we know at present and what still remains to be clarified in the future regarding the seismic process in the Vrancea area. The prominent features of the Vrancea prone-earthquake system are critically presented discussing their consistency with observation data, concordances and discrepancies and how to interpret them in the light of the latest research. Key elements are analysed related to geodynamic modelling (nature of the cold and dense material descending into the mantle, coupling of the Vrancea slab with the overlying continental crust) and seismicity patterns showing specific characteristics as geometrical configuration in consistence with the predominant focal mechanism and possible physico-geochemical reactions at critical temperature-pressure conditions.

In the context of the crisis generated by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, radiological situation forecasts were made within the National Institute of Research and Development for Physics and Nuclear Engineering "Horia Hulubei" (IFIN-HH) for all nuclear power plants in Ukraine. Therefore, the resident decision support software systems for radiological and nuclear emergencies were used, with the main purpose of identifying potential areas of influence on the territory of Romania generated by Ukrainian power plants, as consequence of military actions. In the absence of pertinent and confirmed information, two hypothetical scenarios were considered by which the radioactive material could be dispersed into the atmosphere, for which appropriate accident source terms were built, using methods validated and approved by the international organizations in the field. The monitoring of the radiological situation of the Ukrainian nuclear power plants was carried out over a period of several months starting from the first day of the conflict outbreak. In the paper are presented comparative results obtained with two software systems for a representative case at the Zaporozhe Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, situated in the center of several disputes.
