The linear partial differential equation (PDE) - based models for Gaussian noise removal are discussed in this paper. The digital image denoising and restoration solutions based on linear diffusion equations are surveyed first. Then, our own contributions in this image processing domain, representing some effective linear PDE-based filtering models based on hyperbolic and stochastic differential equations, are presented. The results of our denoising experiments are also provided in this article.

Contemporary society has been undergoing major upheavals in recent decades, especially in terms of demographic dynamics in the urban-rural and rural-urban directions. Scenarios and solutions are far from being validated, so that general analyses and consequences at local level become more than timely. This includes the direction of national rural development as a component of the international and global integration process. Elements of the rural, continuously shrinking area and demography are addressed, but which has the potential to become an important necessity and not a derisory annex of the urban. The paper seeks to highlight a number of possibilities, principles and measures to support the increased attractiveness of the Romanian countryside and, by extension, its contribution to the development of agri-food and Responsible Tourism, with a view to 2050.

Alexandru Vaida Voevod, a physician and politician who served three times as prime minister of Romania (1919–20, 1932, 1933), was a leading spokesman for the union of Transylvania with the Old Romanian Kingdom (Moldavia and Wallachia). In 1896 he was a member of the Committee of the Romanian National Party, representing the pro-Habsburg group. Between 1906 and 1918 he was a deputy in the Budapest Parliament. After 1918, he became a member of the Governing Council and Prime minister on December 9, 1919. During the Interwar period, he held the position of Prime minister as well as Minister of internal and foreign affair in several governments and President of the Council of Ministers. He died in Sibiu on March 19, 1950

The article analyzes the evolution of mycorrhizal fungi, which served as symbiotic partners in association with plants, more precisely with their root system. The advantage brought by the existence of mycorrhizal symbioses for plant nutrition, highlighted the influence this association has on plant growth and development. The existence of mycorrhizal fungi was demonstrated approximately 400 million years ago, the first discoveries being the fossils of Aglaophyton major plants that showed traces of arbuscules, these being considered edifying transfer structures for the vesicular-arbuscular endomycorrhizal type. Mycorrhizae are present in mature ecosystems, ecosystems that present a cyclical and unitary evolution of the components between the biotic and abiotic unit, at which point the mycorrhizal associations have the role of regulating the assimilation of food resources for the plants with which they are associated. In this association, hyphae play an important role in the nutrient cycle, having the function of stopping losses from the ecosystem

The network has become a dominant form of contemporary thinking, the constitutive metaphor being reinvented during the explosion of reticular techniques - the Internet and planetary telecommunications networks. It seems to draw the invisible infrastructure of contemporary society. The figure of the network tends to define the ways of thinking, being ubiquitous in all disciplines, from biology to sociology, from law to computer science, etc., because the hidden structure of the complexity of today's society is the network that dominates and shapes it.

The paper presents the conceptual and statistical dynamic of the Wholesale and Retail Commerce, Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles and Transport and Storage economic sectors in the European mountain area. European mountain entrepreneurship and commerce develops considerably in the 20th century, especially in the context of the industrial revolutions. The article analyzes the evolution of the commerce and logistic sectors between 2008-2018 and highlights the importance of the classic commerce in the contexts of e-commerce and pandemic approach. The results show that both analyzed sectors present an activity intensification during 2008-2018 period, but especially in the pandemic context.

The foundation of culture and civilisation, philosophy and the great philosophical systems have been meditations on the nature, essence and purpose of human existence. Knowledge of the fundamental theories, concepts and ideas contained in the whole of legal philosophy, in the work of our philosophers and jurists, is not possible without a broad framework of philosophical and legal debate at world, or at least European, level. The present study falls into the category of restitutions due, in terms of knowledge and appreciation of the remarkable contributions of some Romanian specialists in the philosophy of law, many of which have long been forgotten, distorted, truncated or simply eliminated from the national scientific heritage. At the same time, the work aims to highlight the social need for philosophy of law, to highlight the value of Romanian contributions at a time when, in global society, there is a tendency to ignore and fade away specific valuable contributions, capable of entering the universal heritage of legal thought. In Romania, the beginnings of the philosophy of law coincide with the awakening of a unitary national sentiment, based on the idea of the Romanian origin of the nation. We can consider as important landmarks in the birth, evolution and development of the philosophy of law in Romania, the works of the chroniclers of the 17th and 18th centuries (some of whom were true philosophers of public law) or the first codification of private law, through the work of various jurists. The interwar period brought an increasing affirmation of the concerns devoted to the philosophy of law in Romania. We note the major contributions to the development and affirmation of the philosophy of law in Romania by authors such as Alexandru Văllimărescu, Traian Ionașcu, Petre Pandrea, Radu Goruneanu, Dumitru Drăghicescu. Eugeniu Speranția, author of an impressive work in the field of philosophy of law, was a first-rate thinker and true encyclopedic spirit. Mircea Djuvara was above all the Romanian authors who devoted their lives and work to legal-philosophical writings, a representative personality of Romanian culture, founder of an original system of thought of great theoretical and methodological value. What is the encyclopaedia of law; subjective and objective in law; thinking, judgement and the value of judgement; objective and subjective theory of value; the finality of law in relation to the judgement of legal value; the concept and idea of justice; legal methodology; the "problem" of subjective law. In order to evolve as a society we need increasingly efficient technologies and implicitly materials with great performance that promote safety and sustainability. The discovery of high entropy alloys was received with much enthusiasm due to the possibility of designing new materials with improved properties, that could be used in applications that require extreme conditions or a very specific combination of properties. As the research in this area is continuously increasing and the results are very promising, this review focuses on the most recent investigations on medium entropy alloys (MEAs) applications, highlighting their properties, but taking into consideration other factors, such as economic and environmental factors. Additionally, considering the high cost associated with MEAs fabrication, MEA coatings are also explored, as they are nowadays regarded as a more convenient procedure to obtain the required properties for various substrate materials.

As the research in this area is continuously increasing and the results are very promising, this review focuses on the most recent investigations on medium entropy alloys (MEAs) applications, highlighting their properties, but taking into consideration other factors, such as economic and environmental factors. The experimental field was placed in Amzacea, Constanta County at S.C. SPORT AGRA S.R.L., Center of Development, on the highway 38, 20 km. far from Bulgarian border. Constanta County had the largest weight regarding the surface cultivated in Romania with sunflower crop between 10-12%. The most drought area in Romania is Dobrogea (average 1961-1990: 464 mm rainfall). Climatic change in recent years has accentuated this tendency. The number of hybrids taken into account in our experiment were fifteen in 2018 and twenty in 2020. Genesis has been planted in two periods of the time in 2020. When the planting was delayed the yield was decreased by 303 kg/ha. The aim of this study was: (i) the behaviour of the hybrids in the unbeliveble dry conditions, (ii) to see the yield and the behaviour of sunflower hybrids to the attack of main pathogens - Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Phomposis helianthi, Orobanche cumana, (iii) how the planting date influenced the yield, (iv) the importance of the pesticides used and (v)economical data.
