Ultra wide band (UWB) is a candidate technology for future wireless communication especial for vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to infrastructure communication. It uses very short pulses, so that the spectrum of the emitted signals may spread over several GHz and data rates is very important. In this paper, a Vehicle-Infrastructure (V2I) communication system based on the UWB-OFDM (Multi-Band Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation) technology is studied and analysed. In this application, two parameters are analysed the channels effect and the data rate. The performances of the proposed solution are evaluated in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and data rate in AWGN and Rayleigh channels. The results simulations show that the UWB-OFDM system gives a good result in terms of BER and it is necessary to adapt the data rate to the channel propagation environment.

The selection and the evaluation of suppliers of goods or services is a strategic purchasing decision that affects the total performance of every company. That decision is a multicriteria problem and a complex process that requires the use of multiple quantitative and qualitative criteria, often in conflict. It is widely studied in the literature related to supply chain design/management, agile manufacturing, dynamic alliances, and purchasing management. The aim of this paper is to present a comparative study between the selection of suppliers of goods and that of suppliers of services such as the logistics services, in terms of criteria and methods.

In this paper, we address to the multi-item capacitated lot-sizing problem with production time windows and setup times under the non-customer specific case. This problem is known to be NP-hard. Two cooperative approaches are proposed for solving this problem by combining mathematical programming and metaheuristics based on a decomposition scheme. The algorithms use simultaneously the mathematical programming and heuristic procedures such that the local Search algorithm and Variable Neighborhood descent algorithm. The computational experiments show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms according to the approaches already presented in the litterature.

The supply chain management, postponement and demand management operations are of strategic importance to the economic success of organizations because they directly influence the production process. The aim of this paper is to analyze the influence of the postponement in an enterprise production system with make-to-stock and with seasonal demand. The research method used was a case study, the instruments of data collection were semi-structured interviews, document analysis and site visits. The research is based on the following issues: Demand Management which can be understood as a practice that allows you to manage and coordinate the supply chain in reverse, in which consumers trigger actions for the delivery of products. The Supply Chain Management is able to allow the addition of value, exceeding the expectations of consumers, developing a relationship with suppliers and customer's win-win. The Postponement strategy must fit the characteristics of markets that require variety of customized products and services, lower cost and higher quality, aiming to support decision making. The production system make-to-stock shows enough interest to organizations that are operating in markets with high demand variability.

In this paper we describe an alternative variant dynamic Pickup and Delivery strategy of Vehicle Routing Problem (DVRP) which arises when new customers appear in the tours after starting visit. We propose an Artificial Ant Colony based on 2-Opt local search (AAC-2-Opt) to solve the DVRP. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach by comparing its results with those of existing methods in literature on the same tests problems. The proposed algorithm can efficiently optimize the routing problem and provide highly competitive solutions.

In recent years, the work of research in the field of traceability is led to the development systems used to draw effectively the information on the level the supply chain. With a focus on the importance of the concept of the traceability, this article describes our proposal which is summarized in a smart based architecture the linkage of paradigm agent and semantic web while ensuring the traceability of containerized goods in a context of multimodal transport. The content is organized in the following way: the first part is devoted to a state of the art as regards the management of traceability in the supply chain. Then, we submitted our contribution and by which we have introduced the concepts MAS (Multi Agent System) and semantic web to assimilate properly our system i-TSCG (intelligent Traceability System Containerized Goods) composed of five layers. Thus, we chose the methodology MASE (Multi-Agent System Engineering) for the design and implementation of our system.

In a context of globalization and internationalization of markets, optimizing physical movement of goods becomes inescapable. To do this, in this paper, we present our contribution to the implementation of a global system of goods traceability in a multimodal transport context. Thus, we propose a new approach for modeling the data needed to cover the entire goods lifecycle. Then, for the sake of integration of our traceability solution, an integration approach according to a service oriented architecture will be presented, and this by presenting a new ontology for semantic description of web services, dedicated to our traceability solution.

Health care activities wastes are produced every day, but unfortunately not much has been said about it. Health care activities lead to the production of wastes that can have adverse health effects. The rigorous management of their elimination is now necessary because it can cause risks to the ecosystem. The reverse logistics mission is to manage the waste from the collection step to the treatment step. The choice of the right solution to treat health care activity wastes is a completely complicated operation. In front of this embarrassing variety of choices, we will be presenting a Decision Support System Proposal (DSS) which helps us to identify wastes and suggests methods to solutions treatments.
