Goodbyes and returns: The doors in César Vallejo”, focuses on the study of doors, recurring elements in the work of the author of Trilce. These have a presence in the life and poetry of the universal poet, César Vallejo. The doors, in Vallejo’s poetry, are entrances to the unknown and spaces related to the female. It is there where the woman thinks and dreams. The gates are metonymy of the home of childhood and innocence. In Vallejo, the doors are relevant and there are scarce studies on this symbol that appears insistently in his work. The doorway experiences pain and anguish and is intimately connected with Vallejo’s lyric speaker. The doors in Vallejo have as their essence the memories of childhood and constitute an essential part of the mother’s house. The purpose of this essay is to plant the seed for future studies on the liminal spaces in Vallejo.

César Vallejo is one of the most recognized Peruvian poets in the world due to the impressive innovation that his work entailed for the poetry of the twentieth century. Lee Kuei-shien introduced him to Taiwanese readers, being the first poet who translates Vallejo’s poems into Chinese Mandarin. In this way, and thanks to the fact that poetry has communicating vessels with the whole world, Taiwan and Perú are connected and are uniting Latin America and East Asia. Through poetry, the writers César Vallejo and Lee Kuei-shien reveal the value of the human being and the soul of their people. Given the importance of these aspects, in the present work we analyze and interpret the main ideas involved in the poetic work of 1. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el empowerment (empoderamiento) y el desempeño docente en la institución educativa Javier Heraud de Trujillo, Perú. Se enmarcó en las investigaciones descriptivas con un diseño correlacional a partir de una muestra de 40 docentes. La recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de dos cuestionarios; uno para cada variable, considerándose válido y confiable. Los resultados arrojaron que el p – valor (Sig.) es de 0,038 es menor que 0,05, entonces a un 5% de confianza se rechaza la Hipótesis nula y el coeficiente de correlación Pearson es 0,330 e indica que existe relación directa baja. Se concluye que el empowerment tiene una relación directa con el desempeño docente. Se recomienda ejecutar un Plan de gestión sobre el empowerment como un factor importante en la mejora del desempeño docente para favorecer a toda la comunidad educativa.

El presente artículo vincula estrechamente la poesía de César Vallejo con la praxis educativa. Es decir, cómo fomentar, incentivar y enriquecer la lectura del universo vallejiano en nuestras aulas. Promover –en los educandos– una actitud crítica y valorativa de la poética de Vallejo, asociada a las acciones éticas y cotidianas de la sociedad. La poesía de Vallejo sugiere, insinúa e inquieta. Esta condición poética establece la multiplicidad semántica del discurso literario. Es decir, la poesía vallejiana elabora un lector activo (los alumnos), que participan en la interpretación textual.
