This research aims to determine the strategy of business development of patchouli oil farmers in improving economic welfare, to analyzing obstacles or barriers in running the cultivation and production of patchouli oil in central Meranti The district of Pintu Pohan Meranti Toba Samosir Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach because the research intends to understand what phenomena experienced by the subject of research. The method of determining the area of the research use Purposive technique or deliberate with consideration of Central Meranti is one of the villages that the majority of its citizens still hang the livelihood as a patchouli oil farmer. Data collection methods are obtained from primary data and secondary data where primary data is obtained through interviews with Informans as well as direct observations of the field, and secondary data is obtained from the relevant agencies. The Data obtained is then analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed that there were only 2 families that still maintain patchouli oil farming efforts with patterns and strategies to develop this business in a simple way. Patchouli marketing is also do by selling directly due to price fluctuations that happen very often. In addition, the limited information such as the writing and socialization of a patchouli is still very limited from the government to the farmers so that more and more farmers are switching commodities.

This study aims to examine the effect of family ownership, debt policy on firm value with firm size as a control variable. The sample used was a family company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to December 2017. The type of this research was quantitative using Agency theory and Signaling Theory. Analysis technique with multiple regression analysis. The results showed that family ownership had a positive and significant effect on firm value, and debt policy had a negative and significant effect on firm value. While company size as a control variable in this study cannot control the relationship of the influence of family ownership and debt policy on firm value, in other words, company size as a control variable does not have a significant effect on the relationship of family ownership and corporate value policy debt.

Training is an activity that has an important role for human resources in order to increase knowledge and skills both for human resources who are preparing to enter the workforce, also for human resources who have worked so that their capabilities are always maintained in order to secure existence or to career advancement. From this research, we try to analyze the gap between perceptions and expectations of the training program in from the perspectives of the participants. The population of this study are 61 employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railway Company) who were training participants at the Operations and Marketing Training Center. We analyzed the data by applying the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. Based on the results of the research and descriptive analysis of the services received, the satisfaction of the operational training program is quite satisfying but there is still a difference between reality and employee expectations.

Characteristics of Human personality that have existed since birth can be used as a basis for personal development and professionalism at work. Industrial Era 4.0 demands change in all fields, including the world of teaching. This study uses the literature review method by looking for various references critically to obtain valid and reliable data. The results of the analysis found that for the effectiveness of teaching in the classroom, educators must master and understand learning based on students' personalities and themselves. An understanding of the Personality Based Pumping-HR model can describe and map human personality in certain behaviours and characters. The results have a positive impact on the teaching process and teaching outcomes. Changes in the Personality of educators entering the digital era are very important when linked to the success of the teaching is carried out. So for effectiveness in teaching in the 4.0 era, an educator must understand the personality of students.

Purpose of this study aims to examine the effect supply aspect tourism on travelling interest to Tikus Island in Bengkulu Province. Supply aspect tourism consisting of attraction, accessible, amenities and ancillary. Sampling method in this study is accidental sampling with 240 respondents. Data collection method in this study uses quantitative data which is carried out by distributing questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis applied to test the hypotheses using SPSS application. Findings showed that attraction and accessible have positive effect on travelling interest. Meanwhile, amenities and ancillary do not affect travelling interest. The supply of aspect tourism in Tikus Island can contribute to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of Bengkulu Province, the local government of Bengkulu should be able to pay more attention based on this findings.

Indonesia is the world's CPO producer country, and at the same time, Indonesia also the largest exporter of CPO in global market. Some of the main countries that are becoming export destinations for Indonesia CPO are India, China, the European Union, USA and Pakistan. Empirically, it is seen that the phenomenon of widening gap in Chinese vegetable oil consumption patterns, where consumption growth is higher than domestic production growth. This boosted Indonesia's CPO exports to China and subsequently had an impact on the Indonesia-China trade balance. Analytical method used is ordinary least square (OLS), which is arranged in two-equation models. Findings of this study conclude that (a) Indonesia's CPO exports to China are affected by the increase in consumption of vegetable oils in China. This is consistent with the expected hypothesis; (b) the value of Indonesia's CPO exports to China has a positive impact and helps reduce Indonesia's trade balance deficit. This is consistent with the research hypothesis. Indonesia's CPO exports have a positive impact on the Indonesia-China trade balance, in particular contributing to overcome the Indonesia-China trade balance deficit. This research shows that CPO is Indonesia's strategic commodity that helps overcome Indonesia's trade balance deficit.

This research aims to test the influence of trust and perceived risk on Actual Online Purchasing (AOP) either directly or through Online Purchase Intention (OPI) as a mediating variable. Purposive Random Sampling used in this research with 100 respondents who have searched product through the E-Commerce website (B2C & C2C). This research uses Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) model with SmartPLS 3 program. The results of the test showed that Security practice and Privacy Concern have a negative effect on Perceived Risk, which subsequently Perceived Risk has a negative effect on OPI. However, OPI has no significant effect on AOP. Between the two of trust antecedents, the EWOM and Perceived Reputation only Perceived Reputation has a significant influence on the Trust. From the four constructs in this study (AOP, OPI, Trust and Perceived Risk), the Trust Model is the most powerful predictive model compared to other models such as Perceived Risk, OPI, and AOP.

This study aims to formulate village financial management based on local traditions of village communities. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which is a method that seeks to present a picture of the objective reality that occurs in a condition or environment in a particular place. Environmental context (Site) in this study is Sindang Pakuon Village, Cimanggung District, Sumedang Regency and Ciburial Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. Presence of village funds is acknowledged to have changed the face of the village which previously seemed neglected, now looks better. Village infrastructure such as village roads is more convenient for motorists and pedestrians. Road to distribution of agricultural products has been built so that the travel time to move agricultural products from the fields to the market location is faster. Although village funds have brought changes to public facilities in the countryside, they have a fading effect on aspects of village tradition. Emergence of this fading is because the nomenclature that regulates the use of village funds does not yet accommodate the local aspects of rural areas.

SMEs in Machakos County have been characterized by poor financial performance which has been linked to financial access. Financial access is one of the keys that drive the development of SME in the country, particularly access to bank financing since banking sector plays a key role in serving this segment. This study specifically sought to determine the influence of collateral security, loan-income ratio and geographical branch penetration on financial performance of SMEs. Study adopted census survey due to small population size. Respondents were supplied with semi-structured questionnaires with aim of getting their views regarding financial accessibility and SME performance. Findings of the study indicated that collateral security, loan-income ratio, and geographical branch penetration has a significant positive effect on financial performance in Machakos County, Kenya. This research recommends that SME’s should improve their core capital, strengthen their financial management practices, foster financial innovation, and literacy within firms.
