Effect of Electric Field on the Magnetic Probe 电场对磁探头的影响

A novel equivalent circuit model of a magnetic probe is proposed. It not only considers the coupling of the magnetic field under test on the probe output, but also considers the coupling of the environmental electric field on the probe output. The proposed equivalent circuit is verified by numerical and experimental results. A good correlation between the directly simulated/measured probe output and the predicted one is observed. Furthermore, based on the equivalent circuit, a formula is proposed to extract the magnetic and electric fields coupling coefficients. It can be considered as the extension of the available probe calibration method, where only the magnetic coupling coefficient is extracted. All of the examples show the feasibility of the proposed equivalent circuit and calibration formula.

A Joint Time-Frequency Analytical Method for Electromagnetic Interference in Railway GNSS System 铁路GNSS系统电磁干扰时频联合分析方法

A time-frequency analytical method using a combined adaptive optimal-kernel with compressed sensing is proposed in this paper for analyzing the electromagnetic interference in railway GNSS system. The proposed method is applied to analyzing the liner-frequency-modulated signal and pantograph-catenary arc interference in GNSS system, the performance of the proposed representation is further verified by comparing with short-time Fourier transform and Wigner-Ville distribution.

Sub-Millisecond Transient Analysis with Multi-Point Measurement in Weak Grids 弱网格中多点测量的亚毫秒瞬态分析

Peak loads determine the rated capacity of islanded grid power supplies. This often results in non-optimal running conditions in terms of cost, efficiency or size footprint. Presented in this paper is a method of in-depth analysis of very fast sub-millisecond transient behaviour performed between sub-systems and supply in a low-inertia grids. Using this method, time domain measurements can be analysed to potentially achieve electromagnetic compatibility. Synchronised current and voltage measurements are possible, with offsets in the sub-milliseconds and high sample rates of tens of Mega-samples per second. A demonstration of a weak grid is presented showing effects of linear and non-linear loads on the supply source and power quality.

Analysis and Assessment of the Common Mode Termination for Automotive Ethernet 1000BASE-T1 汽车以太网1000BASE-T1共模终端的分析与评估

In this work the currently proposed common mode termination (CMT) for 1000BASE-T1 is analyzed analytically. Especially the complex mixed mode scattering parameters of this circuit are calculated as a function of frequency. In addition, simulations and measurements are performed using a simple printed circuit board. All in all, the obtained results show a very good agreement. Based on this, an evaluation of the CMT is finally performed. It can be stated that the current circuit design reduces the common mode only to a very limited extent.

Understanding the Electromagnetic behavior and studying Electromagnetic Compatibility issues are essential to ensure the proper functionality of the electrical equipment and electronic parts within a spacecraft. As an example, and in the case of implementing a scientific experiment, severe consequences could occur if other payload systems (e.g. telemetry or telecommunications links) are disturbed or even disrupted. For this reason, a detailed study regarding the proper placement of the spacecraft equipment, i.e. the sources of electromagnetic interference, is imperative. Authors in this work are presenting an improved methodology aiming to eliminate the electric radiated emissions at a pre-selected region inside the space platform where sensitive payload or scientific instruments are located. Moreover, the effect of a conductive cavity on the overall electromagnetic field distribution is studied. This methodology uses a heuristic approach for optimal onboard payload allocation taking into consideration the hull’s conductive surfaces.

Optimized Aircraft EMC demonstration based on exploitation of Digitalized Data: EMC Matrix Tool 基于数字化数据开发的飞机电磁兼容优化演示:电磁兼容矩阵工具

Present contribution describes the functionalities of the EMC Matrix tool created to support the EMC design and EMC demonstration of aircraft electrical/electronical systems and installations. EMC Matrix is a software utility which processes digital data on equipment EMI qualification, functional architecture and electrical topology of any particular design in order to identify and predict possible EM Interference conflicts and weaknesses on installation. In parallel, the tool is able to discard most of the usual aircraft-level system-to-system Source/Victim EMC checks based on coupling path analyses and solid similarity evidences provided by the exploitation of configuration details on aircraft designs. The set of analyses provided by the tool leads to significant reduction of the Aircraft-Level EMC tests required for the certification and qualification milestones of projects, thus reducing cost and saving schedule needs at these critical phases, while collecting robust analytical evidences for optimal EMC demonstration.

Power Quality Analysis (0-2kHz) in DC/DC Converters under Steady State and Transient Conditions 稳态和暂态条件下DC/DC变换器(0-2kHz)的电能质量分析

The aim of this paper is to understand the effects of low frequency (0-2kHz) conducted emissions on power quality from a microgrid based DC/DC converter under steady state and transient loading conditions. The experimental data obtained from the lab set-up is analysed using Fast Fourier Transform and low frequency sinusoidal disturbance indices for input DC voltage and current are calculated. The results show that power quality of a DC/DC converter with varying loads does get affected by the conducted emissions, but the indices obtained cannot be quantified due to lack of standards for DC power quality. The indices decrease with increasing load and have a non-zero value at no-load condition. Further, the calculated results from amplitude probability distribution are in agreement with the indices as well.

Evaluating the quality of radio reception is a crucial step in the production process of a vehicle. To evaluate radio reception, several parameters come into play. The radio signal depends on the nature of the electromagnetic propagation channel, the characteristics of the antennas and on the electronic reception chain. The quality of reception is also potentially affected by the interference signals generated at the RF input of the car receiver by the on-board electronics. However, current measurement methods of radio reception quality do not link these interference signals to the radio signal whose reception may be affected or not, according to the nature of interferences. This communication presents an original test bench allowing the evaluation of the quality of radio reception of a vehicle in a semi-anechoic chamber. This test bench constitutes an essential building block of a global methodological process. Its objective is to measure the sensitivity threshold of the radio reception chain (in the AM/FM/DAB bands) of the vehicle and to evaluate the evolution of this threshold as a function of the interference generated by the various components of the vehicle. We have set up two methods to carry out this experiment: injecting the radio signal directly at the input of the radio (conducted mode) and injecting the radio signal using an antenna (radiated mode). This article focuses on the conducted mode and describes the corresponding test bench. Some measurement examples are performed and discussed in the FM band.

The quality of reception is also potentially affected by the interference signals generated at the RF input of the car receiver by the on-board electronics. However, current measurement methods of radio reception quality do not link these interference signals to the radio signal whose reception may be affected or not, according to the nature of interferences. This communication presents an original test bench allowing the evaluation of the quality of radio reception of a vehicle in a semi-anechoic chamber. This test bench constitutes an essential building block of a global methodological process. Its objective is to measure the sensitivity threshold of the radio reception chain (in the AM/FM/DAB bands) of the vehicle and to evaluate the evolution of this threshold as a function of the interference generated by the various components of the vehicle. We have set up two methods to carry out this experiment: injecting the radio signal directly at the input of the radio (conducted mode) and injecting the radio signal using an antenna (radiated mode). This article focuses on the conducted mode and describes the corresponding test bench. Modeling of Common-Mode Voltage Source for Multilevel Inverter Topologies 多电平逆变器拓扑共模电压源建模

Power converters are considered the major source of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power conversion devices in electric vehicles and in more electrical aircraft. Several works study the impact of power converters on conducted emissions (CE), due mainly to common-mode (CM) currents, most of them with the traditional two-level inverter in power drive systems. An inverter is commonly modeled as a voltage source with input and output impedances. This paper presents an equivalent circuit of parallel and series multilevel inverters that can be used to analytically calculate CM currents. The method developed here, precisely estimates CM currents which is very important to prevent CM chokes to saturate and to fail on respecting standard limits.

NGD Analysis of 10-Line Microstrip Structure Crosstalk 10线微带结构串扰的NGD分析

An analysis of coupling effect between "1" and "0" shape lines is studied in this paper. After the "10" structure description, the two-port equivalent circuit is introduced. The S-matrix model is presented. Then, the 10-structure group delay (GD) is expressed. The theoretical equation explains that because of coupling, the 10-structure generates a bandpass NGD function around an NGD center frequency depending on the length of the 0 line. The analytical model is validated with a 10-microstrip structure. The calculated, simulated and measured results are in good correlation. The 10 prototype behaves as bandpass NGD function with 2.7 GHz center frequency, -6 ns NGD value with 6 dB insertion loss.
