In the paper degradation effects such as the self-heating effect and DIBL effect in 2D MoS2 based MOSFET is investigated by simulations. It is considered transistors with Al2O3 and HfO2 as gate oxide and SiO2 and HfO2 as back oxide (BOX). The self-heating effect (SHE) is simulated by using the thermodynamic transport model. Dependence of DIBL(drain induced barrier lowering) effect and lattice temperature in the channel center on the gate length for transistors with different gate oxide and BOX materials is considered. Transistors with channel fully covered and partly covered (only under the gate) by gate oxide is considered. It is shown that the transistors with Al2O3 as gate oxide and SiO2 as BOX materials has higher immunity against the DIBL effect and transistors with HfO2 as gate oxide and HfO2 as BOX materials has higher immunity against the SHE.

The high speed method for determining parallax shifts of paired points of stereo pairs is discussed in the article. It uses the contours of video objects from binary images. This method improves the efficiency of video stream coding in stereoscopic television systems. The encoders of realtime stereo television systems can use simpler and cheaper microprocessors due to the high speed of the proposed method.

In this paper we consider a mathematical model and software tool designed for the study of the filtration process a mixture of the “oil-gas-water” in a porous medium for concrete practical recommendations and administrative decisions. In the course of the numerical calculations were the main parameters of the process and its change ranges, allowing to determine the operation of the reservoir depending on the length and capacity, also the number of wells and production rates. The suitability of the developed algorithm and program for calculation of fields of pressure and saturation are demonstrated, as well as field development indicators in the “Oil-Gas” systems, the “oil-water”, “oil-gas-water”. Results of numerical experiments on computer are presented as graphics.

Globally, the number of tragic events caused by fires is increasing, causing damage to people’s lives and properties. As the false alarm rate of conventional fire detection systems is sometimes too high, there is a growing demand for automatic detection system using computer vision technology to reduce the damage caused by fire disaster. But it is difficult to use in real time due to false detections caused by different situations. In the field of fire detection, an algorithm using multiple temporal and spatial information of the object is proposed to solve this problem. Color, luminance and motion data are used to generate the appropriate fire detection algorithm. In this article, in the development of a hazard detection system based on field integrity violations and light intensity changes in the video image, we have presented the methods of motion detection, color detection, and detection of field integrity violations.

This article presents an analysis of the different modeling in CST for predicting the radar cross-section of the surface. In the analysis, we studied the effect of different factors in vessel construction regarding the amount of electromagnetic energy returning to a radar source, such as the polarization of plane waves, use of different materials, and vessel size. For this article, a microstrip antenna with a reduced monostatic radar cross-section (RCS) is provided. The RCS is reduced by replacing a solid ground plane reference antenna.

This article is devoted to the study of the possibility of using the phenomenon of photoelectret in semiconductor materials to create an electrostatic field under the action of light. In this paper, we propose a new three-layer structure to achieve the photoelectret effect. Text written in Urdu is cursive and belongs to the same non-Latin family as Arabic, Chinese, and Hindi. Recognizing individual ligatures in natural scene photographs is difficult due to the difficulty of detecting and localizing Urdu text. The computer vision challenge of text recognition in photographs of natural scenes is difficult. Variations in text size, color, font, orientation, backdrop, illumination, and uneven lighting make text recognition in photos of natural scenes more difficult than optical character recognition (OCR). As a solution to the issue of identifying Urdu, Hindi, and English text in natural scenes, we propose using an Image Transformation technique in this piece of study. Text recognition in Urdu is more challenging than it is with non-cursive scripts due to a variety of factors, including different writing styles, many versions of the same letter, stretched and linked text, ligature overlapping, diagonal text, and condensed text. Implementing deep learning models for word recognition in natural scene photographs can benefit from the proposed image transformation techniques, which include rotation, translation, resizing, perspective transform, cropping, dilation/erosion, and Region of Interest (ROI) selection.

In the paper the effect of local charge on capacitance of source-gate (drain-gate) transitions is considered in a nanoscale SOI FinFET. Capacitance-voltage characteristic of the source-gate transition is simulated by using the small AC signal method. C-V dependence of the source-gate transition is considered at different positions of the local oxide trapped charge. Minor and major carrier concentration distributions along the channel in the base at different positions of oxide trapped charge is analyzed. It is shown that the carriers concentration near lateral drain (source)-base transition border is monotonically changed with position of oxide trapped charge.
