and head (28.9%). Most of vehicles involved in crashes were motorcycle-cars. The risk of death in road accidents was 2.84 times higher (OR=2.48; CI95%: 2.08-3.89) than in urban areas. The risk of death in spring was 1.6 times higher than winter (OR=1.63; CI95%: 1.024-2.61). The risk of death in men reported 2.07 times higher than women (OR=2.07; CI95%: 1.23-3.49). The risk of death in the age group of 31-60 years was higher than subjects under 15 years (OR=0.36; CI95%: 0.22-0.59). Conclusion: Accidents resulted in the death of two- wheelers were seen in lower aged men, on outside of town and at daytime. The most common trauma was damage to limb and head. Therefore, more studies are needed to ensure that factors affecting limbs and head injuries are minimized.

Introduction: Diabetic foot ulcer is a complication of diabetes mellitus and can be associated with an increased risk of amputation or even death as a result of a wound infection. E.coli can lead to worsening of the condition of the wound. The aim of this study was to identify β-lactamase genes in E. coli isolated from diabetic foot ulcers Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, 110 isolates of E. coli from patients with diabetic foot ulcers hospitalized in the infectious ward of the in Peymanieh, Jahrom and Ali Asghar and Namazi, Shiraz, hospitals in 1396 were selected. Determination of antibiotic susceptibility, phenotypic identification of strains producing broad-spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs), strains producing MBL and strains producing Carbapenemas was done. The existence of genes encoding bla TEM, bla SHV and bla OXA-1 enzymes was investigated by multiplex PCR assay Results: In this study, 35 isolates of Escherichia coli were isolated. 13 isolates produced broad-spectrum betalactamases. Genetically, 19 isolates with TEM gene (54.2%) and 3 isolates with SHV (8.5%), which simultaneously had 1 isolate from 3 isolates with SHV, also had OXA-1 gene (2.8%). The highest susceptibility of Escherichia coli was to maropenem (99%) and the lowest antibiotic susceptibility to amikacin (3.2%). Conclusion: According to the results of this study and monitoring of antibiotic resistance in patients with diabetic foot ulcers, treatment of infections caused by this agent can be facilitated

Introduction: Improvement balance by exercise interventions in older adults has great importance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of dual task attention instruction on the static and dynamic balance older adults in Ahvaz. Materials & Methods: This quasi-experimental applied research recruited men of over 60 years old living in Salehin residency of Ahvaz. Twenty individuals who met the inclusion criteria were selected by convenience sampling method and participated voluntarily after signing written consent. A week after the pretest, the training sessions started and lasted for three consecutive sessions. The dual task attention group were instructed to perform a secondary cognitive assignment (countdown) during the execution of the static and dynamic balance task. The control group did not perform any cognitive dual task. A post-test was performed after the end of the training sessions. To compare the two groups, ANCOVA test was used (p <0.05). Results: The results revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the static balance (P = 0. 001) and dynamic balance (P = 0.001). Using dual tasks improved static balance (p <0.05), but had a weakened effect on the dynamic balance of older adults (p <0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that a period of dual task attention instruction improves the static balance in older adults, but has a weakened effect on the dynamic balance of older adults. Therefore, it is suggested that dual task be used to improve static balance in older adults.

Introduction: Helicobacter pylori infection is highly prevalent and approximately half of the world's population is infected with this bacterium. Urea breath test (UBT) is the most important non-invasive method for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori. This study aimed to evaluate frequency of H. pylori infection in Salmas city, Iran using UBT. Materials and Method: In this case series study, 80 individuals with symptoms of nausea and vomiting, chronic gastritis and a history of positive IgG -confirmed through a checklistwere examined with UBT. Data was analyzed in Spss21 software using Pearson’s, Chi-square and t tests. Results: Of the 80 patients, 37 were infected with H. pylori (46%) and 43 had no infections (54%). The most frequently infected group was aged 51-60 years, while patients younger than 21 years old were the least frequently infected. The frequency of infection had no significant relationship with smoking and education level. Conclusion: Increasing the level of knowledge and health awareness associated with the factors involved in the development of the disease, the prevalence of H. pylori infection can be reduced to a desirable level.
