The environment in Islamic boarding schools makes students feel closer to their peers. When students have closeness with peers, they will feel good emotional attachment and affect their self-esteem. This study aims to determine the effect of peer-attachment on students' self-esteem. This study used a correlational quantitative approach. The participants were 174 students aged 12-19 years from Islamic boarding schools in the city of Palembang, obtained through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used a simple linear regression technique. This study found that peer-attachment affects self-esteem by ∆R2 = 3.96%. Therefore, teachers and pesantren authorities must pay attention to peer attachment to increase self-esteem among students, because good peer attachment will increase students' self-esteem. The results show a significant positive effect and emphasize that students who have attachment to peers can have a more positive self-assessment.

This study aims to examine the relationship between religiosity and resilience and the role of social support as a mediating variable. This study used correlational quantitative method. There were 367 participants who were selected based on the cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis used mediation regression analysis. The results showed that religiosity has a positive and significant relationship with resilience and social support has a role as a partial mediator in the relationship between religiosity and resilience. Resilience development can be done by developing religiosity as an individual psychological resource accompanied by the provision of social support by religious institutions as an external resource.

This study aims to explore the psychological well-being of hafiz Qur'an students. Psychological well-being is an individual's psychological health condition that has optimal positive psychological function. The positive psychological function refers to six dimensions, namely: self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, purpose in life and self-growth. This research used a phenomenological qualitative method with thematic analysis. Participants were five hafiz students who were selected through snowball sampling. The results of the study show that the motivation of hafiz students in memorizing the Qur'an is to give a crown of glory to their parents in the afterlife. This shows the direction and purpose of life that is oriented towards happiness in the hereafter. The representation of other psychological functions is also seen as a desire to continue to grow to become a better person, accept strengths, weaknesses and the past, manage daily activities, have self-autonomy and establish positive relationships with others. In addition, doing murojaah can provide peace.

This study aims to examine the role of tawakal (trust) to Allah on academic resilience. This study used quantitative correlational method. The participants were 202 individuals consisted of high school and university students recruited through voluntary sampling. The regression analysis results show that tawakal to Allah predicts academic resilience significantly with high effective contribution. Besides, two aspects of tawakal to Allah predict academic resilience significantly are belief to Allah and worship aspects. Tawakal to Allah can be a religious coping to help students overcome the difficulties of online learning. Future research can consider tawakal to Allah as an effective predictor and intervention for academic resilience.
