Implementation and Dynamic Validation of an Adaptive Protection System during Microgrid Restoration 微电网恢复过程中自适应保护系统的实现与动态验证

Over the last years more attention has been turned towards microgrid operation as a possibility to increase resilience in the context of power system collapse. Microgrids are considered suitable to support the reduction of outage times and system restoration strategies. However, the restoration and operation process of island grids brings out several challenges, for example decreased short-circuit current level. Therefore, the focus of this paper is to address the challenge of the protection system’s behavior within an exemplary microgrid, to integrate adaptive setting control for employed intelligent electronic devices, and to validate the performance with a short-circuit analysis. The short-circuit analysis has been performed statically in DIgSILENT/PowerFactory and dynamically in MATLAB/Simulink. The dynamic study was found to be necessary due to the behavior of inverters influencing the actions of protection devices during faults and to be beneficial for considering post-fault operation.

Evaluation of the measurement uncertainty in thermoresistances calibration 热阻校准测量不确定度评定

The paper refers to evaluation of measurement uncertainty in calibration of thermoresistances The evaluation of measurement uncertainty in the calibration of thermoresistances is necessary in order to make accurate measurements and to understand the use of measurement results. It is also important to evaluate the calibration uncertainty as part of the calibration for the purpose of mentioning it in the calibration certificate of the thermoresistance. Calibration determines the correspondence between the input and output signal of a temperature sensor. In this case, the calibration of the thermoresistance determine a dependency relationship between the input signal, electrical resistance ($Omega$), and the output signal, temperature °C. A practical method for calibration thermometers with electrical resistance is using calibrators temperature or thermostatic baths, which consists of measuring the electrical resistance of the calibrated thermometer with electrical resistance, and temperature of the working medium in which the calibrated and standard thermometers are immersed, at set point temperature. All the individual uncertainty components of thermoresistance calibration should have predefined values and provide for the total extended measurement uncertainty a smaller value.

An Approach of FPGA Technology in Skin Lesion Detection FPGA技术在皮肤损伤检测中的应用

During the last decade, there been has a significant increase of interest in the computer-aided diagnosis of skin cancer. Given the development of the suitable image processing algorithms and the advances in skin imaging technology, an approach to implementation of the image enhancement techniques using field programmable gate array (FPGA) is presented in this paper. The enhancement such as contrast and brightness manipulation, gray level transform, invert transform and also thresholding techniques are described and implemented using a Hardware Description Language (Verilog HDL). A Verilog-based system for sequential processing of an image using four classical algorithms is presented, in order to obtain an optimal solution to border detection in skin lesion (tumor) images.

Design of High Speed Reluctance Synchronous Motor for Automotive Purposes 汽车用高速磁阻同步电动机的设计

This paper deals with high speed electrical machines in automotive industrial and in common applications. The different types of electrical machines and their suitability for high speed utilization are discussed. Advantages and disadvantages of high speed reluctance synchronous machines (RSM) in comparison with other types of high speed machines are highlighted. The electromagnetic design of such a RSM is carried out on the base of known design procedures enriched by high speed approach. The stator consists of two layers, three phase winding with 12 and 24 slots will be analyzed to compare maximal, average torque and torque ripple. Calculations are carried out by means of finite element analysis (FEA). The different rotor topologies are designed, with multiple geometrical degrees of freedom. Different rotor topologies are also investigated by means of FEA to be able to compare the maximal, average torque and torque ripple. Further mechanical aspects of rotor for RSM are done. The selection of thickness of tangential and central bridges is taken into account. A mechanical stress in such designed machine is calculated versus various speed.

Aspects Regarding the High-Current Testing of Current Paths 关于电流通路大电流测试的几个方面

The paper aims to present a high current station for testing the electrical equipment which are found in electrical installations. The testing station is used to deliver the required testing currents through the current paths, being counted some monitored parameters (currents, voltages, temperatures) for the thermal stresses evaluation over time. The paper includes also a study case regarding the testing of a low voltage circuit breaker in steady state operation.

Analysis of Proposed Innovative Methods for Training Students in IoT and Computer Networks Within the Frame of Current Trends in Technical and Vocational Education 当前技术与职业教育趋势框架下培养物联网和计算机网络学生的创新方法分析

This paper performs a verification of some innovative training methods recently proposed by the authors for training students in Computer Networks and Network Security within the frame of current trends in Technical and Vocational Education, based on a meta-analysis conducted by researchers in Europe, Asia and North America [1]. Focus is set on research methodology, apprenticeship-like training, teaching and evaluation methods and the use of information technologies in technical and vocational education. We conclude that the analyzed innovative training methods are deducted as being representative from the point of view of both conceptual and research papers, being based on case-studies and covering a wide majority of data sources considered valid for Technical and Vocational Education. Further development of the training methods by the authors is aimed through the introduction of a new “Internet of Things” course at the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania.

This paper presents an overview on distributed generation (DG) integration into distribution systems and a series of study cases to emphasize the impact of DG over voltage profiles and power losses variation in distribution systems. The main effects of DG integration addresses various technical aspects concerning the design, the planning and the operation of present day distribution systems. Among these, the authors approach reverse power flow, voltage control, flicker and power quality, protection and anti-islanding systems, thermal ratings and congestions, and power losses. Based on the general description provided, the authors present a case study to emphasize the effect of DG integration over the voltage profile and power losses.

This paper presents the possibility to add asserts, validation and security checks in Internet of Things (IoT) software environments based on executable choreographies. These techniques can be applied to any software system that uses Node.JS (javascript on servers) as programming platform. Double-check is a Node.JS module that puts together mechanisms like logging, exception handling, asserts, checks, and other type of semantic checks. The main functions of the module and few examples are presented in the paper and for more examples and an updated version the PrivateSKY github page can be accessed.

The design of earth grounding (EGR) on optimal criteria has relaunched the seemingly stagnant problem of their dimensioning. The perspective opened by the formulation of technical or economic aim functions becomes engaging for designers, having now the opportunity to argue for the established solutions. If the application of the first three criteria has already been dealt with, such as the ground footprint, the EGR total volume and the total metal mass, the total investment criterion is addressed in the paper. The research also brings a methodological improvement to the case of EGR with vertical electrodes placed after a rectangular contour by fixing the number of electrodes to pare numbers greater than four and looking for correlations between the distance between the electrodes and the length of the electrodes, in order to achieve the chosen rated dispersion resistance. During the searches, identifying a simple, parabolic arc function for the real nonlinear dependence between the vertical electrode dispersion resistance and the electrode length has proven to be a real benefit because it has replaced the solving of transcendental equations with solving second-degree equations. The minimum total investment has different coordinates from the minima of the other optimal criteria, proving once again that they are distinct.

An Analysis of the Spatial-Temporal Variability of the Near Field Components in the Proximity of a TETRA Portable Terminal TETRA便携式终端近场分量时空变异性分析

The paper is focused on the electromagnetic exposure assessment in the proximity of a Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) terminal. For the first time distinct measurements of the electric field component (E) and of the magnetic field component (H) are presented in the distance range 8-20 cm. The results show that the E-field component has a greater prevalence on the exposure. Maximum values of 100% for E, and 17% for H component respectively were encountered in the near field of the terminal, if compared to the occupational limits given in the ICNIRP protective guidelines.
