: Language is an integral part of a culture. Palembang has two kinds of language sari-sari or Pasaran language and language alus: Bebaso. Currently, the people of Palembang tend to use everyday language with the dialect of using 'O' like what to be apo and why to be ngapo. The purpose of this article is to create an understanding to the public about the origin of the Palembang language Bebaso. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Interviews and library studies were used as data collection techniques. The data is described in a way that conclusions can be drawn. The results of this study are (1) Palembang Alus Language: Bebaso cannot be separated from the influence of the island of Java, because after the collapse of the Demak kingdom, the Demak nobility returned to Palembang following the Aria Damar or Aria Dilla Sultanates. The Palembang Sultanate was formed so that the use of the Javanese language became the official language of the sultanate so that there was a culture of Javanese and Malay languages that formed a new language, namely the Palembang alus language or Bebaso (2) Bebaso was still often used in 1970-1980 and the people of Palembang rarely used it in 2000 (3) There have been attempts to maintance Palembang Alus Bebaso such as the existence of puppet show, the creation of accompaniment to the Sondok Piyogo dance from the Sultanate of Palembang Darussalam, the existence of folk songs such as Cek Ayu and Bendel Hakiki, the existence of research proposed the use of Bebaso as local content, the creation of a Bebaso dictionary and the creation of interactive illustrated books about Bebaso: Palembang Alus Language for children and the Bebaso as local language community in Palembang.

: The purpose of this research is to evaluate the use of the Learning Start With Question model in improving writing literacy, especially writing informational conclusions. The long-term goal of this research is the ability of students to filter the information they get whether the information is true or useful for themselves. Given the current digital era, there is a lot of information that is obtained in cyberspace without knowing the truth and its benefits. However, in this study, students were directed to the Scope of Editing by Semester 7B students in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and education UMSU. The results showed that there was an increase in writing informational conclusions through the application of the Learning Start With Question model which can be seen from the results of student learning observations in 2 cycles which experienced an increase. The increase in student learning in the first cycle was 21.7% seen from the results of the pretest and 95.6% in the second cycle. The activeness of students to ask, respond, pay attention to and explain the questions of the lecturer and their discussion partners in the cycle is 95% and the results of observing the activities of the lecturers running actively are 97.5%. This study concludes that the use of the LSQ (Learning Start With A Question) learning model can improve students' ability to write informational conclusions.

: This research is motivated by the importance of a valid assessment rubric as a guide in assessing student learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to determine the validity of the assessment rubric for writing narrative paragraphs and descriptions in Indonesian language learning. This type of research is quantitative research using the method of description. The data in this study are numbers obtained from validity questionnaires filled out by the validator. The validators in this study were two Indonesian language lecturers. The data collection technique was carried out by providing an assessment rubric for writing narrative paragraphs and descriptions as well as a questionnaire to the validator then the validator validated the given rubric based on the validation questionnaire that had been given. The results of the validation are used as data in this study. The findings in this study are as follows.

ABSTRAK: Kegiatan pembelajaran Kompetensi Dasar (KD) pada siswa SMP Negeri 10 Malang memiliki kendala dalam menuangkan gagasan dalam pidato persuasif secara tulis. Hal ini diketahui melalui hasil observasi dan wawancara. Terbukti dari tugas yang dikumpulkan hanya 3 yang dikumpulkan. Selain itu, kedala sinyal internet siswa dan pegawai kurang memadai. Dengan hanya 3 siswa yang mengumpulkan tugas dapat disimpulkan bahwa tema yang digunakan kurang aktual. Penelitian ini akan membahas Kompetensi Dasar (KD) menuangkan gagasan dalam pidato persuasif secara tulis dengan mengangkat tema kampanye vaksin Covid-19, tema tersebut dirasa aktual dengan pandemi Covid-19 yang sedang dialami. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan platform Poster My Wall sebagai media sebagai pembuatan poster pidato persuasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses interaksi belajar, kendala yang dihadapi, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan pemanfaatan platform Poster My Wall dalam Kompetensi Dasar (KD) dalam menuangkan gagasan pidato persuasif secara tulis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 9 di SMP Negeri 10 Malang dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Intrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi, kisi-kisi tes kinerja, dan rubrik penilaian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 22 siswa dalam kelas 9 siswa masuk dalam kualifikasi sangat baik dengan persentase 49% dan 13 siswa masuk dalam kualifikasi baik dengan persentase 59%. : Word style and sentence style are important elements in a literary work, especially short stories. The use of word style and sentence style in literary works makes the reader understand the intent and purpose of the author in writing literary works. In addition, the use of diction and sentence style is used so that the reader is able to understand the elements related to the characteristics of the author. Especially in using the locality aspect in writing short stories. In line with this statement, this study aims to describe the form of word style and sentence style used by the author in conveying Javanese locality in the short stories by Gunawan Tri Atdmojo. As well as describing the style of words and sentence styles in conveying aspects of Javanese locality which are dominantly used in short stories by Gunawan Triadtmojo. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is a referential technique. The references used are the opinions of experts, as well as research relevant to this research. Data collection techniques used reading and note-taking techniques. This research produces written data. The results showed that the dominant style of words used by the author in writing short stories was colloquial. While the dominant sentence style used is declarative sentence.

: Language as a communication tool is always used by humans in every social activity. In the process of communicating, a person tends to face obstacles that cause communication to not work as expected. This study aims to describe the compliance and violation of the principle of cooperation in the discourse of Javanese family communication in Kediri Village. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research data is in the form of conversational speech in a Javanese family environment. The research data was collected through the watch-record-record technique. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively using interactive techniques. The results of the study indicate that in the discourse of family communication generally always adhere to the principle of cooperation. Violations of the cooperative principle are also found in family communication discourse but do not dominate. Violations of the cooperative principle are sometimes carried out intentionally to achieve other goals in a wider context

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi problematika, mengkaji efektivitas, dan peluang pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring pada masa pasca pandemi mendatang di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu. Desain penelitian yang diterapkan deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia FKIP Universitas Bengkulu berjumlah 348 orang. Sampel total sampling, namun yang memberikan respon hanya 289 mahasiswa (response rate= 83%). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan kuesioner dan teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan adalah Google Formulir. Hasil penelitian: 1) Problematika pembelajaran daring yang berasal dari luar mahasiswa (eksternal): kelayakan tempat belajar, kualitas jaringan internet, kualitas catu daya listrik, biaya kuota data, dan kapabilitas gawai yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Sedangkan problem dari internal meliputi: penguasaan teknologi rapat daring, daya juang (ketahanan fisik dan mental) mahasiswa, minat dan motivasi belajar yang cenderung menurun. 2) Secara umum pembelajaran daring tidak efektif baik dilihat dari proses maupun hasil belajar. Ketidak-efektifan bisa dilihat dari indikator menurunnya prestasi mahasiswa baik pada bidang akademik maupun non akademik pada tahun 2020 dan 2021. 3) Pembelajaran daring masih dapat dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu modus pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi apabila dipadukan dengan pembelajaran luring. Research design is descriptive quantitatively. The research population is Indonesian Language Education Program student FKIP University of Bengkulu University= 348 people. : Riwayat Cinta is a collection of poems written by the famous Lebanese poet, Kahlil Gibran. This collection of poems that talk about love uses a distinctive and quality language style so that it is able to create deep meaning and a great emotional touch for the reader. This study aims to reveal the use of language style in the collection of poetry Riwayat Cinta by Kahlil Gibran. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected using a read-note technique. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the collection of poetry Riwayat Cinta by Kahlil Gibran contains various types of language styles. Judging from the sentence structure, the language styles contained in the poem include antithesis, repetition, and parallelism. As for the continuity of its meaning, the style of language contained in the poem includes apostrophe, simile, pleonasm, eroticism
